Our National Parks tour was beyond our expectations. This was one of a few times that we have traveled with a tour group. The Hall family does an outstanding job with logistics-from flights, to hotel rooms, to all the meals!
We got to know so many great fellow travelers, kindred spirits when it comes to National Parks!
We saw beautiful lakes,glaciers, bears, whales, and so much more. We highly recommend this trip.

John Hall's thought of everything. The whole tour was seamless. Everything was taken care of, from luggage to rooms to meals. The tour manager was well informed, helpful, and set a great tone for the entire time. The small group setting was perfect.

Everything from start to finish was excellent. We were on the National Parks Alaska tour. The accommodations were great, the food was tasty anns plentiful (3 meals an day) and everyone we worked with very professional and kept us informed about our itinerary. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to have the best experience in Alaska

The greatest part of the AK190 Tour was John Hall's did everything, and all I had to do is go along for the ride. John Hall's made the experience easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. The service was friendly, informative, and very helpful.

We traveled with John Hall in June 2026 on the Grand Slam tour.
We visited Anchorage, Valdez, Fairbanks, and Denali/Talkeetna.
The price of this tour seemed a little high at first glance, I admit. But as we researched everything included in the fee, we decided it was worth taking the chance on. We were so glad we signed up. The tour was amazing! And that fee covered everything ! The only thing we spent money on once we were picked up by John Hall representatives were souvenirs and a few lattes. We visited 2 national parks, Trailbreakers Kennel, Prince William Sound, and many other great places. Every meal was first class (I gained 4lbs in 10 days!). We had several lunches and dinners as a group but we also received meal vouchers to eat on our own several nights. This was really nice as we had time with our group to socialize and make friends but we also had time to spend alone. We especially enjoyed the Fat Mermaid in Valdez and Michael’s Pizza in Talkeetna. Our tour guide, Pat, was friendly and knowledgeable. We were incredibly impressed with the obvious time and effort Pat put into learning little details about every stop along the way and sharing them with us with his great radio voice! He really took the experience of the tour to the next level for us!

John Hall takes care of everything to make sure your Alaska experience is top notch. It was a wonderful trip full of information and experiences. We would totally recommend it.

Great trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the Grand Slam trip. We were treated very well by the John Hall staff and tour guide was very informative. Food and accommodation were great. Alaska is beautiful.
