I purchased queen mattress and box spring in approximately 1995 and just getting it replaced today. Retired now so will treat myself to a little more luxury comfort. The bed was always stiff, but fine for me. Never sagged, lots of moves, was used for a bed and breakfast when it was already 10 + years old and some quests commented on it and loved the comfort. The warranty label on it was for 15 years, so I guess it is about due for replacement as over 30 years now. It was purchased at a factory outlet location in London, Ontario and think I paid $800 CAD for it. It has provided good value, but I was never fussy about such things as luxury back in the day. More so now ...

we purchased a King Koil king size mattress from mathis brothers in okc in feb 2023. we were told, they take care of the warranty so we had nothing to worry about. the mattress my wife picked out was the most expensive mattress in the store. I was the king koil smart bed with a split head. my wife has serious back issues so we thought this would help. we get is home, she loves it, does what it is supposed to do. well now we are having problems and i am trying to get some service and i am having a hell of a time with king koil and with mathis brothers. DON'T BUY THIS MATTRESS, it's a great mattress but when something happens, GOOD LUCK WITH WARRANTY

El colchón al mes se tenia pozos. En Argentina no me dieron la garantía ni la factura, me boludearon a más no poder. Pedían fotos, se las mandé y luego pedían fotos con alguna persona acostada, a lo que le dije que la falla no es visual, si o si deberían venir a corroborar los pozos que tiene. Ahora el colchón me destruye la espalda, 700 dólares me salió esa basura. La fábrica no se hace cargo indicando que la garantía la brinda el vendedor y el vendedor se encarga de cansarte para no cumplir.

Don’t buy this mattress, I purchased the King Koil premium at a price tag of €2199 in the sale. Too soft no support whatsoever my husband when sleeping on his side rolls off. Very heavy mattress so you be thinking must be a good quality mattress. Every day when I wake up I’m struggling with back pain. You can feel every move your partner makes. One mistake buying this mattress has put us out of pocket plus back pain. I’m sleeping on the floor now as it’s much more comfy. Just have to wait to hire a van to get rid of it in the dump, wouldn’t pass it on to anyone as I’d be the cause of there pain.

I paid €3,000 for a mattress from Harvey Norman, and within just 6 months it has started dipping badly on both sides — completely unacceptable for such an expensive product.

When I contacted Harvey Norman about the issue, instead of honoring the warranty, they refused to help simply because the mattress was purchased under a different name. This is nothing but a way to avoid responsibility and leave customers stuck with faulty products.

Absolutely shocking customer service, no accountability, and a complete waste of money. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid buying mattresses from Harvey Norman.

We purchased a plush King Koil mattress from Macy’s about 6 months ago. The mattress has been very disappointing. It has dips in several places, especially in the lumbar area and even on the sides of the mattress. It appears that the mattress has several defects in quality because of the number of dips in the mattress. I have been suffering from back pain since our purchase so we contacted Macys. The company sent a man to our house to measure the dips with a small metal tool. He stated that the measurements of the dips did not “sink far enough to be considered a defect.” Of course not. He measured the top area of the mattress and said that the other dips would return to the original shape at some point. He was rude. Refused to measure or consider the dips on the side or lumbar area of the mattress. Be careful about purchasing this mattress. The company may not honor the warranty. We paid a lot for this mattress. It was a lesson learned.

I purchased a new King Koil Intimate King size mattress from a reputable Company in DFW from called The Dump (2700 Ranch Trail, Irving, TX). I paid $2,500; plus sales tax and a delivery charge, The mattress is less than 2 months old and there are decisive dips that are several inches and produces severe lower back pain. The mattress is of very poor quality and offers no support for a comfortable sleep. I got taken-to-the-cleaners! I trusted the salesperson and made a huge, costly, mistake. If one is seeking a good quality mattress, King Koil, despite what you read about good reviews, don't believe the good reviews. King Koil mattresses will disappoint and cost you to waste your hard earned money...

❌ Avoid the King Koil Platinum Luxury Oasis Mattress

– A Painful, Expensive Mistake
I purchased the Platinum Luxury Oasis mattress RRP $13000 from Forty Winks Geelong in October 2024 after being strongly guided towards it from the staff in store (it was on sale at 50% off, since my purchase A.H Beard (manufacturer) have now released a version 2, (which makes me believe that version 1 had massive faults). From the very first night, I knew this mattress was a piece of sh$t, I never have a good nights sleep, and experience discomfort, pain, and regret.

Despite following all care instructions—regular rotation ect this mattress has absolutely no structural integrity or support. My partner and I (60kg and 85kg) sink dramatically into the bed and roll into each other constantly. I have to prop pillows under my side to prevent me from rolling into my partner. There is up to 10cm of sag when you sit or lie on it. It is the exact opposite of what was promised under “no partner disturbance” and “body alignment” in the product description.

After months of disturbed sleep, I’ve now been diagnosed with two slipped discs in my neck and suffer from chronic lower back pain. My partner—only 30 years old and previously pain-free—now wakes up with lower back pain. This mattress has genuinely impacted our health and wellbeing.

To make matters worse, after lodging a warranty claim an "inspection" was done and I was told there was no fault with the mattress. How this level of dipping and physical pain doesn’t qualify as a fault is beyond me. I’ve since read countless reviews online describing the same issues with this mattress—particularly the “Plush” version—so it’s clearly a widespread design flaw. This mattress has absolutely no structural integrity whatsoever.

I trusted 40 Winks and the bedMATCH process, but this purchase has been a $$6500 mistake. I’ve given it 8 months, but it’s only gotten worse. The marketing for this mattress is incredibly misleading—if you're looking for support, comfort, or a good night’s sleep, this mattress will give you the opposite.

I do not recommend this mattress to anyone. Save yourself the pain and money.

Purchased a new mattress and when it was delivered it was sagging in the middle. King Koil refuses to replace a defective new mattress. Terrible company.

I purchased a king kook mattress, for its superior quality and paid more than intended!
Within weeks we noticed that dips had formed on both side of the bed (ie where I sleep and where my partner sleeps)

Mattress was rotated, gave it a few months to settle etc …

Note- King Koil are too superior to take complaints directly, you have to go through the shop in which you purchased!

We provide clear images of the dips in the mattress and descriptions of the issues we were facing!

They sent someone out to assess and came back confirm the quality was up to their expectations and refused to compensate!

Money down the drain!

I went to a store and lay on a King Koil mattress for five minutes. I thought it was amazing. It was a Dromoland Castle mattress. I paid a fortune for it, and it’s simply awful. The stitching grooves on the surface make it feel like the bed is full of dips and uneven spots. I don’t recommend it. It’s not comfortable.

This is not a mattress, it's a medievil torture device. I am somome who thrives in the heat. Sit me down in a 95 degree living room and I'm fine with a simple fan. But this thing! Lay on it in the showroom feels fine, get it home, throw on a blanket and you quickly feel like you've developed a fever. It is so hot and miserable I am unable to sleep through the night. Strip off the covers on the coldest night of the year and the uncovered part of me freezing while my back sweating. There out to be a class action!!!

I would give king koil and Harvey Norman zero stars if it was possible. Bought a mattress in Harvey Norman Cork in Ireland and paid over 3000 euro euro for it. Mattress came with a 10 year warranty but within 2 years the mattress has collapsed on both sides leaving a hump in the middle of the bed. They bed is nw so uncomfortable it can no longer be used. Harvey Norman sent out an assessor who told me on the day there was an obvious fault and he could see it but that was not the report he submitted. I said this to Harvey Norman and they are refusing to stand over the poor quality mattress the sold me because of his report. I spend a lot of money in Harvey Norman and this will be the last time I shop there. Take my advice and spend your hard earned money in another store who actually care about their customers. More importantly don't waste your money on king koil products, their warranty is useless.

Purchased a split head king. It is the worst mattress we have ever had. We’ve had it for 9 months now so it is broken in. It’s so uncomfortable. We tried every firmness level and it is very hard. Haven’t had a good night’s sleep since we bought it. Paid over $7000 for it so stuck with it. Really horrible.

I recently ordered this mattress for holiday guests as there was limited bed space at my home. Unfortunately, the bed arrived late, was damaged as it would not inflate properly, and extremely uncomfortable. It was very inconvenient as I am disabled and had to drive two hours to return the damaged bed. King Koil factory packs their mattresses and they refused to provide a box big enough for the return. This was a nightmare as I had to hunt for a box big enough for this mattress in order to return it. To add insult to injury, it will take over two weeks to receive my refund. I would never do business with this company again!

We have an adjustable frame and decided to switch from two twins to a king. We stayed with the same style through King Koil. The new king mattress arrived yesterday. I kept smelling something awful but, couldn’t figure out what it was. It’s the mattress. I am not talking about the chemical smell that seems to accompany all new mattresses upon arrival. This mattress smells like barnyard and body odor. Upon closer inspection, it appears that the legally required tag has been sewn into a used mattress. I am so disgusted. I emailed customer service and they have not responded.

This company also sell air mattress beds and has a 1 year warranty. You have to register the purchase at their website. Every few days, you have to pump more air into it because it slowly deflates. Trying to contact King Koil Customer Support for a replacement is a nightmare-No one answer the phones or respond to emails. You are forced to purchase another bed. Terrible Customer Service😡

I bought a bed from Huck Finn's Warehouse for around $1200. When I bought this bed, I presumably thought it was a King Koil mattress. You know, the one that has a solid reputation? Made in Ireland? Well, to my ignorance, the King Koil mattress I bought, it was made by Blue Bell Warehouse in East Windsor, Connecticut. This bed has done a number on my spine and I feel Huck Finn's, King Koil and Blue Bell have mislead a host of people. Don't waste your money at Huck Finn's Warehouse because you don't get what you pay for. You get ripped off. I thought I was paying for a legitimate King Koil mattress and I received a Blue Bell mattress instead. They even had the King Koil Logo flyer on the bed, but when you look at the tags on the bed you see Blue Bell mattress and another tag that says KK Crosby mattress. That is a grimy move. Interesting because the date I BOUGHT MY MATTRESS WAS 06/01/2022. BUT I CAN'T GET IT. SO I GUESS I'LL PUT DOWN TODAY.

I purchased a King Koil Grand Opulence NOV 2018.
Reason for purchase was that the filling was supposed to be completely natural…wool cotton cashmere.
However what Kaymed (the manufacturer) never mentioned was that this ‘natural’ filling was encased in Polyester resulting a ‘hot’ uncomfortable sleep.
I wrote to Kaymed but my email was ignored.
I would never ever purchase a King Koil mattress as they are being dishonest with their marketing.

I bought a queen sized King Koil mattress 5 years ago. 4 years ago it started to sag where I slept. I'm the only one sleeping on it and at 55.5kg I consider myself a lightweight. I turned the mattress as directed.

Also the weight of the mattress is beyond what my light frame could handle. I had to get my neighbour in to help turn it.

The way mattresses are made these days is beyond comprehension as they are so heavy and the depth so big making them a problem to make.
