Engaging and effective customer service. My query was handled professionally, and I was given an appointment very quickly. The locksmith arrived on time, was quick and efficient, and clearly explained the issue along with value-for-money fixes. I needed to repair a main door lock and also had a WC door stuck due to a broken lock; both were resolved promptly. Overall, the work was completed quickly and to a high standard. Highly recommended.

The phone was answered pretty promptly and the young lady explained the procedure. There was obviously a wait but not too long and as promised they phoned me when they were 10 minutes away. He quickly surveyed the scene and even quicker opened the door - no damage at all. Payment was easy and I was more than grateful. Lesson learned!

Thank you for your feedback and we’re sorry for the frustration caused. We do cover the Harrogate area for locksmith services, including attending your property and changing the lock if needed. However, not all of our engineers carry key-cutting equipment on board, so we’re unable to offer on-site key duplication.
Any new lock fitted would come with 2–5 keys depending on the type of lock, but we appreciate this may not have met your needs on this occasion.

When my composite door slipped out of…
When my composite door slipped out of alignment I tried to adjust it myself but managed to make the problem worse, so that the door was now unlockable.
Keytek were very helpful and arranged for a locksmith to visit within hours. Stefan made some adjustments so that the door would now lock, although the alignment problem persists and I shall have to seek help from a composite door maintenance firm.
