Wow! Be very careful which 6L device you buy in which country. 6L Max seems to be particular to US because of some Cardiologist Assn relationship, thus of course not spelled out online or packaging. I... Vis mer

I’ve had AF since I was 21 I am now 76…
I’ve had AF since I was 21 I am now 76 never had any problems. I used my friends one and after a few goes it did show AF. These people are just putting the frighteners on people.
It would seem I had to give at least…Do not purchase one
It would seem I had to give at least one star to continue with this review. The options should include zero and minus. It can give readings of Normal SR, Sinus Rhythm with PVC, unreadable, A Fib, and multiple electrical interference readings within minuets of each other. I can not see how it can possibly be reliable. I paid for [I thought] three readings to be checked only to find they had been taking over nine pounds a month from my account. So I would agree with most of the negative reviews that have been posted here.
My KARDIA equipment is unreliable and the customer support non-existent.
KARDIA is sold as a reliable medical-grade item of equipment. I’ve found mine to be unreliable and when I asked Kardia for a solution they couldn’t be bothered to even reply. I recommend you don’t waste your money here.
scam
scam! If there's nothing wrong with your heart There will be after getting the false readings this device shows
PROCEED WITH CAUTION WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!
My wife Bought her device on Amazon for £99 - what she received was completely dead and didn’t work. When she managed to get hold of someone in customer service they said replace the battery - which you need to do at your expense. We did this and nothing…the device is a dud. Various emails later we are no further forward in receiving a replacement or reimbursement. Lost faith with this company and it’s promises - LOOK ELSEWHERE
Don't panic!
After suffering a heart attack followed by cardiac arrest in 2018 I bought this to keep an eye on any possible recurrence of AF. (I have two stents fitted). I check my EKG routinely about once a month unless I feel there might be something amiss. Three days ago the monitor started telling me I had several problems and this did cause some panic! As it was a weekend, and I didn't feel unwell at all, I could not contact my GP and did not want to call 111 or ambulance - and good job I didn't. Checked the battery - it read 2.87v. My wife took her EKG and it said "electrical interference" (no source of electricity or magnetic field near the monitor). Bought a new battery after three days of worry, battery fitted and readings back to normal. The unit appears to have no means of indicating a low battery. Although I would not have thought 2.87 was 'low' for a 3v battery (CR2016). Message is "before you panic check the battery!"
P.S. Also wasted £10 on a "Clinician Review" of what was an erroneous reading due to low battery!
What a waste of money
What a waste of money. I paid £87 for it. It's a tiny flimsy device with two pads to put two fingers on each. It's paired with an app you have to download. Alarm bells started when, on opening the app, I was encouraged to upgrade by paying £9.99 for the device to detect 3 other types of arrythmia. So it's clearly very limited in its scope. It never mentioned this in its adverts. When I used it, it said that may have arrythmia. It can say that to anyone! If I want more information l need to pay £5 for a report! What a con.
