Given the extent of viruses, malicious emails as well as phishing on the Internet, knowing the issue well and being an IT auditor, I quickly understood the value of being wary of unknown contacts and protecting your computer and in fact any connected device. It starts with installing an antivirus on your computer which will eliminate 99% of the risk.
I have been using Kaspersky antivirus for over 20 years. He gives me 100% satisfaction and recommends him above all.

KASPERSKY RENEWAL,
Kaspersky in GB become expensive liar.
After Kaspersky offered 30% pop-up discount on the renewal page - TO BE APPLIED AT THE CHECKOUT, I tried to renew my License, BUT BEFORE I PAY, HERE WAS NO DISCOUNT APPLIED AND THEY ASKED TO PAY FULL £49.99 price.
Rubbish. Moving to Bitdefender or Norton.

UPDATE:
I still using Kaspersky Total Security.
Just before Renewing for new License, I always searching online for the chipper License offers and its it.
By the way, Firstly I started using Kaspersky by recommendation fro NatWest bank.
Now NatWest using Malwarebytes Security software, so I tried it and...!

RUBBISH !!!
On my first try Malwarebytes did not asked to uninstall Kaspersky, and after half an hour my desktop computer crashed with a dead Blue screen and I had to reinstall system and delete Malwarebytes.
After a week I tried again, but first I uninstalled incompatible Kaspersky and again installed Malwarebytes.

NO LUCK! No matter what I did, computer was very sluggish and after 1 day it crashed again!

Its it! NO MORE Malwarebytes NEWER EVER AGAIN!
After searching online I found KIS 2021 License for 5 computers for £20 plus per year, and all my computers running very happily again.
I feel sorry for NatWest messing around!

I am trying and failing to cancel an auto renewal I do not want with Kaspersky. The Quote is 2.5 times higher than the cost to buy it.
Nothing they suggest in emails or on their site works. It seems that you are barred from all sides by them to cancel.
I can't even access where my payment details are ! (maybe in case I try to change them).
DO NOT TRUST ANY COMPANY THAT HOLDS YOU TO RANSOM AT THE END OF THE TERM AND WON'T LET YOU LEAVE THEM.. they are making it impossible.

Kaspersky ofrece uno de los mejores antivirus pero no es confiable y eso lo sabe el gobierno de Estados Unidos de América. Robó archivos confidenciales de dicho gobierno, razón por la que está prohibido usarlo en oficinas gubernamentales de ese país.

Además sus principales competidores de origen estadounidense (McAfee, Norton y Trend-Micro) fueron hackeados en 2019 por rusos: . Me parece demasiada coincidencia. Kaspersky declaró que estuvo cerca de ser hackeado pero yo creo que sólo es una coartada.

No todo lo que brilla es oro.

Kaspersky Canada/Global

Preamble:
I bought Kaspersky Total Security (KTS) Nov 12, 2019. I cancelled February 27, 2020 and received a partial refund February 27, 2020.

Why I Cancelled:
I had technical issues and in my search, found it prudent to review their policies. I realized there was no Privacy Policy (PP), no Terms of Use policy (ToU), and no End User License Agreement (EULA), the latter usually available during installation of the software, available on the Kaspersky site in my *country (Canada).
I tried to gain access to any ToU, and/or PP to no avail.

When accessing PP, or ToU at the USA.kaspersky.com links, I was immediately redirected to the Canadian site (kaspersky.ca) where, at the time of this writing, still have no Kaspersky PP, ToU, or any policy regarding purchase, or software use, or use of my personal data. I cancelled and received a portion of the original cost.

As of this date (March 22, 2020), Kaspersky, after many tries, failed to answer "Where may I view the Kaspersky Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and EULA?"

The Product: Kaspersky Total Security
- The procedure I used was to type kaspersky.com., where I bought my version.
- I purchased KTS via Kaspersky US site and paid in U.S. dollars.
- Having researched KTS earlier, I new enough to disable Malwarebytes from loading at boot.
- I uninstalled my existing AV then rebooted and used the KTS installer. The product installed seamlessly.

PROs:
1 - Kaspersky Graphic User Interface(GUI) is easy to navigate, and simple to understand with lots of in-line help available.

2 - During sand-box testing, KTS quickly blocked known bad sites, and prevented a known trojan from installing.

3 - KTS plays well with other software except Malwarebytes if running.

4 - As of today, Kaspersky Internet Security ranked 6,6,6 at AV-Tests.com; (NOTE: AFAIK Av-test.com is not affiliated with any products and unlike most 'review' sites, are not earning commissions from AVs = unbiased LAB results - not reviews-to-sell.

5 - As of this writing, Kaspersky has a wide range of Manuals, and in many languages for each of their products. The manuals are easy to follow, and the steps, issues and workarounds are easily located.

CONS:
1 - No access to ToU, PP, EULA, or any other policy except at time of purchase via Digital Rivers payment processing, and that is the Digital Rivers PP, not Kaspersky's.

2 - **Manuals: Finding the manuals documents was not easy, and is only available via the U.S.A. site, which, as soon as the user clicks on Manuals, will redirect any Canadian IP address to the CAD site where the links manuals are as hard to find as are the ToU, PP and EULA's.

3 - Kaspersky ToU indicates the program ***SMRCs the user to all web sites. The ToU announces how much data, type, and devices they collect.
There is a valid reason for SMRCing. If Kaspersky is to protect you from nefarious web sites, it must analyze the web site, the data between you and the site and the contents you might review, or download. It is expected to trust Kaspersky, their data collection and protection methods, their staff and their third party service providers.

4 - Web site lacks continuity, policies, with only hard focus on selling. I found the pages to be more like a snake-oil sales pitch than a product info/purchase page/s. Over all, products are over priced.

CAVEAT: DO find and read the Privacy and Terms of Use as well as the EULA BEFORE you decide to buy (anything from any where). It's worth every iota of your right privacy to do so.

* How I found the policies. Not a easy task, but use TOR browser and in the URL type "usa.kaspersky.com" and hope you are not redirected.
** Finding manuals may depend on your country of origin, and if you use a TOR browser.

Really powefull tool to keep your computer safe, most AV are good but they always infect your pc, but with Kaspersky I feel safe

It's not that bad. Definitely better than no protection at all. It tells me when I'm on a risky website (which I know they are-To watch sports) I may purchase.

Received loads of emails and pop up windows offering a 30% discount for renewal. Said discount would automatically be applied at checkout. Tried loads of times but discount was never applied. Eventually and reluctantly I renewed at full price and now I'm getting pop ups telling me that my licence has expired and protection has been disabled. What an absolute joke. I'm definitely going back to AVG.

Service après vente totalement incompétent pour le dépannage

Un petit retour en arrière s'impose : Depuis 2015-2016-2017, j'ai acheté l'anti-virus " internet security , comme je n'ai jamais rencontré de problème, je décide de passer à la version supérieure me garantisant une meilleure protection pour les Pc , tablette et I Phones ; Bien m'en a pris, je souscrit un abonnement pour DEUX ANS et 3 PC , et il y a quelques semaines, à la suite d'une mise à jour de KAPERSKY " Total Security " mon imprimante ( à peine 11 mois d'usage - EPSON " ) tombe en panne , je sollicite la On line de EPSON , mais devant leur enthousiasme ( garantie 2 ans ) je jette l'éponge et je rachète cette fois une HP ( j'utilisais cette marque depuis plus de 30 ans ) , l'installation de ma nouvelle imprimante me prend à peine 10 minutes et je peux à nouveau travailler

Il y a quelques semaines, je reçois mes courriels en 9 à 10 exemplaires et le fonctionnement de mon anti-virus commence à me poser des problèmes de fiabilité ( mon PC est fortement ralenti et après analyse avec un cleaner, il ressort que j'ai des programmes inutilsés et des 100 de fichiers inutiles et plusieurs centaines de doublons
Je sollicite Kapersky Lab qui ne m'a JAMAIS TRANSMIS la solution de nettoyage malgré mes dizaine de courriels

Je suis bien sûr en froid avec cette entreprise de professionnels parfaitement incapables de nous dépanner
