Horrible untrustworthy company, substandard quality. My mouthguard cracked after one day. No s customer service. You get what you pay for, I’ve learned my lesson. So many other better companies out there so don’t waste your time and money with JS Dental
Some things in life are worth the wait
Some things in life are worth the wait, and JS night guards are most definitely on my list. I am a return customer because these are the only guards I've found that stay in place all night, unlike the expensive ones from my dentist that I unconsciously removed because they were so uncomfortable. After paying $7K for one tooth implant, I was desperate to find something to manage my bruxism, so I am deliriously grateful to Dylan for figuring it all out. I also appreciate that Dylan (the founder) has been communicative all along the way. He's made it clear to me that this company is his baby and he takes customer satisfaction very personally. Dylan, if California falls off into the ocean, don't worry, I'll come fish you out and put you back to work!
Good affordable night guards with good customer service
Affordable, good customer service, and night guard fits on first try and looks like good quality build and durable. Everything went pretty smoothly from ordering to making the impression, getting feedback for the impression, sending it back, and getting the final night guard. Do note that the free shipping label is only for US residents though, so me being in Canada made sending the impressions back a little more complicated but everything still worked out.
I was so excited to receive my kit
I was so excited to receive my kit, even though I messed up 4, counting 4 times, but the 5th time was a charm. The company stuck with me and sent me more putty, always doing its best to make me feel NOT like a complete failure. When I received my mouthguard, it fit perfectly, stayed in my mouth throughout the night and was very comfortable. They have a client for life now.
Terrible customer service
I cannot attest to their product, as I was not able to get far enough into the process to actually have a guard made.
I had an impression kit sent to me. I made impressions. Apparently they weren’t sufficient. I made another set. I sent in photos again.
Now, the email/text where you send in photos apparently puts you to the bottom of the line every time you send a photo and their rather passive aggressive automated message reminds you of that.
However, the message also says they’ll respond to you 2-24 hours after you send it in. Not true. I waited. And waited. And waited. 48 hours. Finally I submitted a request for service through their website as the automated message reminded me again that I’m an idiot and I’ve been moved to the bottom of the line by responding to my initial text.
I’m just done. Long story short I ordered my set of impression material 10/16 and today is 11/6, making it 3 weeks since I started this process and I’ve done nothing but wait for responses and get annoyed.

The process was super easy — they sent the molding kit right to my home with clear instructions, and the support team checked in to make sure everything went smoothly. They truly go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. My night guard fits perfectly, feels comfortable, and the quality is excellent. Love my new 3D nightguard!
Just received my new nightguard, and I’m so impressed! I’m a heavy grinder, so I purchased the thickest 3D hard nightguard they offered. Nonetheless, it’s very comfortable and easy to wear. The process was easy, and customer support was a big help with questions I had during the process of making impressions. I’ve tried other nightguard companies - this is the best!

I have had several night guards from this company. I really appreciate the attention to detail and that they make sure that I am 101% comfortable and content. The night guards are fantastic and my jaw isn't tired any more when I wake up !

Dylan and his team from JS dental lab have been exceptional! I had an issue with my mouthguard a year after I started using it, with my partials, and they were happy to correct it free of charge and it has made a huge difference. This is our second time ordering mouthguards from this company, and we will continue to do so because of their great customer service and care!
Excellent customer service
This was the first time I ordered a nightguard online, so it did take couple of adjustments to get it right, but the final nightguard is *perfect* and the entire team at JS Dental was super patient and accommodating. They paid for all of the shipping charges back and forth and were consummate professionals throughout the whole process. I ended up getting two nightguards because I wanted different colors.
I strongly recommend getting the nightguard option where you must provide both upper and lower impressions (for the fit) and selecting hybrid material (for comfort).
Great guards at great prices
I find JS Dental Lab will work tirelessly to make sure you have a comfortable fitting guard. The mold process is not that difficult, but getting a good mold is definitely the key to a well fitting guard! You cannot beat the prices and I appreciate especially the option of softer guards for people who just clench, like myself. The only negative is that if you live on the opposite coast from California as I do in Virginia, you have to be patient when dealing with the USPS as it usually takes a minimum of 5 days to cross the country.
Great experience the first time…2nd time, not so much...
I had a great experience the first time I ordered from them in 2021, but man have they gone downhill. I was able to order two night guards for about $120 then. This time, I got one lowest end guard for that price. But the biggest thing is the customer service. I ordered two weeks ago and JUST got my impression kit yesterday- that's almost two weeks just to ship me the kit. Now they require you to text or email them a photo of your impression and approve it before sending back in. So I sent them a photo about 15 mins after I received the package in hopes to send it back for processing before the mail picked up. I got the auto reply that they received my text, but no approval to send it back in. Before ordering, I read that they send out the kit the next business day, but it took nearly two weeks. Now I have to wait to even send my perfect impressions in. Tack on another 2-3 weeks after they receive it, and we're looking at over a month of going without a night guard. NOT HAPPY.

This was a wonderful experience, from customer service to perfect fit. My dentist was going to charge me $750 for a nightguard! For around $400, I got THREE awesome-fitting guards. I'm just a regular person, I don't know anyone in the company, and I recommend them completely! Kedisha in customer service was really helpful.
Getting back on track after some issues
"I ordered my mouthguard in December. It is now mid-September of the following year." After writing this one-star review I was contacted by Dylan who apologized for their operational issues. I'm guessing they may have lost some staff? In any case, he was concerned and agreed that this was too long (some of the delay was my fault, too). He sent me a free gift in consolation and has responded immediately to all emails afterward. My new guard is finally a good fit and I really like the cushiony feel on the biting surface. Give them a chance as they reboot their customer service; Dylan is hard at work to improve things And he really does care.
SUPPORT???
I have tried for a month to get their “brochure bantered” SUPPORT to no avail. Their billing and collection are efficient.
Look for another
The first order I made was with some difficulty, but I kept the retainer with some discomfort. The second order was a complete disaster. It's as if they don't care about one more customer. After 10 days of placing my order, I contacted them to find out why they hadn't processed it. When they answered, they told me they hadn't processed the order because they were unsure whether my impression was for the upper or lower denture.
The question is: if you have questions, why don't you contact me? I was waiting for the order in vain. After processing it, the order arrived. But the retainer is very thick. I can't even close my lips naturally. I contacted them again with great difficulty; they only have a chat, where no human ever answers, and an email address where they hardly respond. The question is, why don't they have a phone number you can call? You already know the answer... They don't want you to call.
They supposedly refund your money if you're not happy with your order, but the process is complicated and only handled through email, which they don't respond to. Deliberante makes things complicated for you, typical of companies with little or no transparency at all. The funny thing is that after they read this review, they will surely respond in a very nice way, asking me to contact them to resolve the issue.And apologizing for the bad experience. All to give readers the impression that they take the time to do the right thing when they make mistakes. But you should know that it's just a strategy to minimize the negative impact of bad reviews.
And yes, there may be many other positive reviews, but if they are so good, explain why you decided to treat me this way?
Don't just read the reviews on Trustpilot, spend some time searching on Google and you'll see... A "good reputation" is global; it's not tied to a single website. If you don't have a good global reputation, something's wrong.
Nice guard and Fab Customer Service
I’m completely rewriting my initial less than stellar review based on my recent interactions with customer service. I initially wasn’t happy with the fit of my guard and the length of time my adjustment was taking. After reading this review, the owner contacted me and has gone above and beyond to help me get a guard that fits properly. (As it turns out, I may have messed up the initial mold.) The excellent customer service I’ve received is rare and refreshing.

My dentist made an unsolicited recommendation for this lab. He said it's less expensive for virtually the same product. The process has made me impressed with my dentist, for the willingness to refer and also to JS Dental. I was intimidated by the kit but it turned out to be easier than I expected. The company went above and beyond to get the guards back to me ahead of my travel and they fit perfectly. I will definitely continue to use them and recommend them.

I've been ordering my hard night guards from JS Dental Lab for over five years and love their highly personalized customer service, reasonable prices, and commitment to quality. When I've had to order again, it's because I lost the guard, not because it wore out. I will never order another guard from my dentist, who charges five times as much for similar material and fit.
