This company has taken two years of subscription from me even though I requested a cancellation on both occasions! Difficult to contact, non-responsive. AVOID!!!

This may have been better but my piano is a bit out of tune so I wanted to cancel my subscription. I had to do a dispute and do a stop payment through my bank because it charged my account. Even now when I click on it, it acts as thought the link is broken and prompts me to contact support. None of the support links are working. How are you supposed to contact anyone?

Had het verkeerde abbonement genomen. Wilde een familie abbonement. Ik kreeg in het weekend Direct contact met een medewerker via de chat. Contact ging heel snel en vriendelijk. Ik kreeg mijn geld terug en ik kon mij abonneren op het familie abbonement. Geld was er binnen 24 uur. Top service!!

2 ans après, il me prélèvent 179,98 $ alors que je n'ai jamais autorisé la transaction !!!! Impossible d'annuler le prélèvement et d'annuler le paiement

The guitar course is Okey.
The app is not that good, cant search for songs etc.
After my trail i stoped it and delated my account but they tryed to charge my card multiple times so use a card that you don't usually have money on so you dont get scammed.

Also i think its overpriced compared to other apps.

I hadn't realised that I had this ongoing subscription, having sold my keyboard back in January and not only was I able to cancel my subscription, I was refunded the previous 6 month's charges of $24.90. This is a company who cares about their clients and their reputation for being a top rate app/service! How lucky am I too have chosen SimplyPiano/JoyTunes to do business with!

Totally trustworthy group of people! If you do business with them, you won't be sorry. I'm almost sorry I sold my keyboard now - Almost!

I signed up for Simply Piano 18 months ago and couldn't be happier with the app. It has taken me from an absolute novice who couldn't read music to someone who confidently reads music and plays with both hands.
It is a very simple, interactive and intuitive app and everything can be done at your own pace. There are hundreds of tunes to play and you can adjust the difficulty level to suit your ability.
I had a 30 day free trial to start with and am hooked. Top marks and for me well worth paying the subscription when the trial was over.

Il 16 giugno (un giorno prima della fine del periodo gratuito), ho ricevuto dalla mia banca la notifica dell'addebito di 134,90€, corrispondente ad un anno di abbonamento.
Poiché l'app SimplyPiano non ti consente di annullare l'iscrizione, ho inviato un'e-mail a "hellosimply.com" per istruzioni su come annullare l'iscrizione. Non avendo ricevuto risposta, ho inviato un'altra email chiedendo di annullare l'iscrizione. Nemmeno io ho ricevuto risposta.
Ho inviato l'ultima email il 20 giugno e ho insistito per cancellare l'abbonamento e chiedere il rimborso di 134,90€. Ad oggi non ricevo ancora risposta.
Devo chiarire quanto segue:
. In nessun momento ho richiesto l'abbonamento corrispondente all'addebito effettuato.
. JoyTunes non mi ha mai annunciato il costo dell'abbonamento.
. L'app SimplyPiano non offre la possibilità di annullare l'abbonamento.

Per tutto questo, e non ricevendo risposta da JoyTunes, sarò costretto a denunciare questa azienda alle autorità competenti, sia a livello spagnolo che europeo.

Non fatevi ingannare da JoyTunes attraverso una trappola di abbonamenti di questo tipo e se vi è già capitato vi incoraggio a segnalare questo modo di procedere ad enti come l'INCIBE, il Centro Europeo Consumatori e, ovviamente, alla polizia.

Ho segnalato l'addebito improprio alla mia banca il 2 luglio e oggi, 20 luglio, ho ricevuto la notifica di Simply procedendo al rimborso di € 134,90.

Be aware that even if you pay for the subscription, you aren't necessarily going to get full access to content. The developers like to do feature testing which results some users getting massively reduced content, to assess how it impacts "the user experience". You see the "movie challenge" currently being promoted on its app page? Looks like fun. I wouldn't know, since they're not giving it to me. I also don't get most of the songs in the song library that everyone else has. The developers think a large library of songs is "too overwhelming", so they're testing reduced content on a sample of users that includes me. I never asked for that, and I sure af aren't being charged a reduced rate to compensate for the reduced content.

They have taken £89.90 from my account and I have absolutely no idea how/why. It was through PayPal who won't help either! I haven't signed up to piano lessons- mystery.

Un essais d'une semaine est proposé pour activer cet essais, vous DEVEZ activer une méthode de paiement,
ça c'est un peu dommage,
une fois passé ce stade vous avez un accès étendu.
En ce qui me concerne,
l'appli ne vaut pas le prix demandé, car je n'ai pas assez de temps à y consacrer, mais si vous avez du temps seul ou en famille, il existe peut être une formule pour vous.

mon message de clôture d'essais n'étais pas passé, une semaine plus tards je suis donc débité d'une année complète d'abonnement !

Heureusement, après quelques échanges de messages explicatifs, j'ai pu être totalement remboursé.

Je reste mitigé sur la nécessité de prendre un engagement d' abonnement à la fin de l'essais, ce sont des méthodes qui risquent de fâcher les distraits.

This is a subscription trap and the app is a joke. They ignore requests for monthly payments and then hammer you for the full annual amount. I have removed the app from my tablet and made my PayPal subscription inactive. There does not really seem to be a way of contacting them.

There is much to commend Simply Piano but there is one major snag: you have to ‘pass’ each stage before the Simply computer allows you to pass on to the next; I practised one stage for a week but however hard I tried I could not ‘pass’ this stage and get on to the next.
My wife who is a pianist tried as well but no success.
NOR WOULD THE SIMPLY SOFTWARE ALLOW ME TO SKIP TO THE NEXT.
I took this up with Simply who responded promptly but said the software review was some 8/9 months away.
I asked for a refund which to give Simply their due they refunded within 24 hours.
So Simply Piano is potentially good but with what appear to be software problems.

They charged my credit card twice over the years after accounts closed dont trust them

Brought a keyboard which included free lesson on simply piano, as using pc completly useless, as I have no smartphone to listen to inputs, also I have read many reviews where people have complained about the note recognition, how can an app like this not be available for pc.... Madness will have to look for other alternatives.

Close to a scam - claims it’s a 12 month free trial, then I see it had charged me for a year one week later. It’s then near impossible to cancel the subscription- I’ve now been conned out of nearly £250 from an app I never used. Despicable behaviour, the app and the company should be banned from apple devices.

Had simply piano from Jan 2022 to Jan 2023 + Simply Guitar . Logged in over 675 hours of piano where I learned over 350 3 star ✴️ songs . Played about 340 guitar hours the same cycle . I keep a detailed logg book . I've had tons of problems along the way with the App picking up my notes with both instruments . Customer service is Awful . You have to contact a Robot by messanger in the Philippines if you are lucky . Most of the time it takes them hours to respond back . Was heartbroken my membership never got renewed after they promised me a 30 percent membership discount for my renewal Jan 15 of 2023. No I can't play my instruments . Have lost all my progress for both instruments . I'm so not happy right now with simply piano . Their billing department and customer service really hurt the company .

The program just cannot hear certain notes and refuses to let you advance. I have tried different volumes, different speakers, plugging in directly all to no avail and now having paid my money i can progress no further until the app gets a hearing aid.

I started learning to play the piano just 6 months ago. I did a lot of research before choosing Simply Piano. I have already made what I think is excellent progress. I did not fancy face to face piano lessons as I would rather learn when I am in the mood and have the time. I use the Midi connection and that works perfectly. I can already play many of the tunes they provide using sight reading. If you want to learn, I strongly recommend trying this App.
As for customer service, I have contacted them several times for a variety of reasons, some for advice and some to sort out my understanding of the software. The reply is super quick no matter if it's weekends or evenings and every time the advice is clear and sensible. It's not often I find a great product and great service.
