Very disappointing experience

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Jones Moves. We paid 100% of the quoted price upfront, but the job was left unfinished and the house was only half cleared.

It has now been three and a half days since the move, and we have heard absolutely nothing from Rosie despite contacting her via the WhatsApp group, by phone and by email. There has been no explanation, update or attempt to resolve the situation.

We have subsequently had to arrange additional movers at considerable extra cost to finish the job that we had already paid for.

Moving house is stressful enough without being left with half your belongings still to move and no communication from the company you have paid to do the job. The lack of communication has been particularly disappointing.

I would strongly recommend making sure the job is fully completed before making any final payment.

Third times a charm when moving with Jonesmoves and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! They really care about their customers, they’re reliable, calm and know exactly what they’re doing. Moving with Jonesmoves completely takes the stress away from the whole process. It’s also worth mentioning Rosie - who runs the office and takes care of all the logistics, she is a great communicator and regularly checks in to ensure you have everything needed for your moving day. Don’t go anywhere else, honestly, they have a great thing going here - genuine people providing exceptional service. Thank you for today Rosie, Casey, Liam and James you legends! x

Knowing that we could trust the removals company to get on with the job on moving day really took the stress out of it for us.

Everything about the process from start to finish was professional, clear, and friendly. The three guys who came to move us to our new house were knowledgable, courteous, and amazingly efficient.

They turned up at our flat just before 8am, moved us 50 miles, and we were done and dusted on the other end by 11.30am. Everything was transported with care and speed.

We will be recommending JonesMoves to all our London/SE friends!

The team has helped us move during the summer and it was the smoothes move I've experience during my 10+ years in London. It was efficient, well organised and the team of 3 that was on the ground was very respectful, great at communicating and nice people. They've protected all items we've marked as fragile and nothing has been broken or damaged during the move, even with us packing and wrapping larger items like TVs/mirrors ourselves.
The arrangements ahead of the move were also smooth with great response times.

Would 100% recommend and if needed to move again myself would come back.

Very impressed. Rosie contacted me to tell me when the team were about to arrive. They worked hard in packing up my belongings, especially all my books. At my new house, they quickly unloaded everything despite arriving just as the heaviest rain of the year started. Having a fixed price was one less thing to worry about.

Incredibly good service. Team were efficent, polite and no job was too big or small. Worth the money and then some.

Best experience we’ve had with movers. The guys were all very nice and exceptionally hard working. Casey and Liam helped us moving a very large; very heavy fish tank and we were astounded with how quickly and efficiently they did it. We’re very grateful for how stress free they made the experience with their hard work and excellent customer service. Will use again and couldn’t recommend enough.

Without question, THE MOST EXCEPTIONAL REMOVAL COMPANY TO EXIST. I am writing this on the eve of my move because I am blown away after experiencing a more than five star service unlike any other out there. Jones Moves REALLY REALLY REALLY CARE, the way people used to and the way you wish companies still would. This really is a family business who treat you as a part of it and have such an admirable grasp on morals and ethics. As someone who suffers with severe anxiety, I could not have dreamt for someone to show more compassion, empathy and genuine authenticity than Rosie. She truly is an absolute gem and the reason that Jones Moves was the only company and option for my move. These outstanding rare qualities continue throughout the entire process where you feel fully supported and cared for in a way that is reminiscent of the ‘good old days’. Rosie possesses such a high emotional intelligence along with her high intellect that she perceives the exact needs of each client and it clearly matters that each move be carried out in the same way they would treat their own family. Being hypervigilant I picked up instantly that I was being both intently listened to and understood which is extremely rare nowadays. Rosie’s tone, language and manner were all so reassuring and sincere. I felt confident at the daunting move ahead thanks to her.
Rosie being highly perceptive understands that a ‘one size fits all’ approach is outdated and thus carefully tailors each move to the individuals needs which is invaluable.

I was so blessed to have Liam, Casey and Pedro for my move. Along with Rosie, this truly is the DREAM TEAM. Being a Londoner I have moved a lot and never had even close to the standard of service and treatment received today. This level of care and sincerity cannot be faked. That is the bottom line, authenticity and genuine humane kindness. These are GOOD SOULS, with BIG HEARTS and a GENUINE ENTHUSIASM with makes all the difference and lifts your spirit. The fact they are so adept at dealing with people who have certain needs is extremely impressive and rare.

My items were moved quite literally with a smile in pristine condition. For the first time I felt no need to micro manage anything or have to specify certain things. The team literally took over as stated so I could focus, which is exactly what you need when moving home!
The level of intuitiveness from Rosie, Liam, Casey and Pedro is astounding. My well-being was as much a priority to the team as my valuable possessions. I felt secure and safe throughout the entire process.
The team possesses such niche skills and are so talented taking everything in their stride. I find packing very challenging yet they worked around and with me with such warmth and deserve so much credit for this huge act of kindness. They were also fantastic with my fluffy persian cats which means the world as they had to be present during the move. Animals read people better than anyone and they actually wanted to stay around the guys rather than run to me!
I appreciate the many challenges the team faced today with such grace and humility to not make me feel anything other than at peace.

Jones Moves will bring their GOOD ENERGY into your new home. That is PRICELESS. Liam, Casey and Pedro made me feel so at ease that the move happened in a happy bubble with Rosie as a beautiful presence always there for any needs and sending her best wishes. They literally embody the phrase ‘GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND’ and are so humble about it, it’s truly remarkable. No ego despite being the absolute best in London! They could charge triple what they do.

Absolutely the best and most stress-free move ever. The team were incredibly swift and great guys, polite, and patient. My move included a halfway stop for more furniture, and not the most simple move given car park height restrictions and dogs running around etc. No damages, promptly on time, and will definitely be using JonesMoves for any future home moves! This is the third time I've moved with Jones Moves, and I'll literally never use anyone else! Liam and Casey are friendly, super-fast, and careful, and all for a really reasonable price. I had too much to fit in the van so they worked their schedule to come back and collect the rest for me. Jones Moves provided us with a fantastic service. They were the most responsive company that we sought quotes from and the team on the day were fantastic. Punctual, efficient, very careful with our items and the people were really kind and polite. I would recommend to anybody.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing the team were. All communication via email was efficient, helpful and quick. The team on the day were utterly superb. Best moving company in London, so helpful, and lovely, no task is too much. I’ve always moved myself and this is a luxury I will never be passing on again. The whole process from start to finish was seamless from booking and getting a price quote within our budget to the guys moving us on the day were just the best! Jones Moves was the highlight of my property purchase project. The agency and solicitors were slow, opaque, and unable to commit to a completion date. In contrast, Jones Moves (Rosie) was extremely easy to communicate with on WhatsApp, offering flexibility and even reassurance. On the day, the staff were exceptionally friendly, punctual, and accommodating of last-minute changes (I recieved my keys at 3pm). I highly recommend their packing and moving services!

Awful and unprofessional removal company!
They didn’t pack vans properly and left half my stuff so I had to hire a van myself to empty property. Dumped what they did deliver on driveway, complained with amount of boxes even though I gave them total amount!
The website linked to their company only shows positive reviews no negative ones. I would suggest to others to check Trust Pilot reviews on this company first.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Resorting to telling untruths and then name calling to deflect from your failings on the day, only serves to prove what an unprofessional outfit you are running.
The time frame in which the response was written was to give you the opportunity to reflect and apologise for not upholding your end of the contract, an apology was never given.
Well done you for posting you tirade on Trust Pilot for all your prospective clients to see!
