My experience – product sourcing and review removal

I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.

I purchased a mk1 mx5 t3/t4 turbo downpipe for £249.99 after it was advertised as UK stock. I was informed it would be coming from the UK.

After ordering, the item was dispatched from overseas. The product I received appears identical to one currently listed on AliExpress for approximately £40 (based on product images, design and specifications and the alibaba/aliexpress tracking code)

When I contacted the company to clarify this, I did not receive a response addressing my question.

I previously left a factual review outlining this experience. That review was later flagged and removed for “harmful or illegal content,” despite containing only factual information about my order and delivery.

I am not commenting on legality. I am simply describing what happened in my case so other customers can research carefully before purchasing.

Regarding the comparison to a £40 listing, automotive components that appear visually similar online are not necessarily equivalent in manufacturing quality, materials, tolerances, or fitment accuracy. Pricing alone does not determine whether two items are the same product. Large exhaust components involve material grade, welding quality, flange alignment, and verified fitment testing, all of which directly impact cost, durability, and performance.

It is also important to note that a £40 figure does not reflect realistic international shipping, VAT, and customs costs for a steel exhaust component of this size delivered into the UK. Shipping alone for an item of this weight typically exceeds that amount before tax and handling are considered.

Missing item - no customer support

I have tried to contact them multiple times over the past 4 weeks regarding a missing item in my order. They are refusing to reply. They continuously send me tracking for the item that has already been delivered, and no comment is made as to where my missing item is. Customer service is non existent!!

Purchased an order for a Subaru Impreza…

Purchased an order for a Subaru Impreza exhaust over 3 weeks ago selling what looked to be the same as the one on aliexpress but at 4X the price me thinking aliexpress was the scam I purchased through this website paying £400 for a part aliexpress was selling at £91 and have no way to contact them they do not reply to emails, they do not have a phone number, the chat system on their website is just ai nonsense DO NOT recommend using this company

Our records confirm that this order was successfully delivered with tracking confirmation. No product issue, fitting query, or support request was raised with us prior to a chargeback being initiated.

The review also relies on unrealistic post-purchase price comparisons that fail to account for differences in quality control, supplier verification, product consistency, return availability, import fees, delivery timelines, geographic location of fulfilment, customer support, or the protections associated with purchasing from an established retailer.

Top quality

Top quality, items came in quick, the selection is vast and some real unique items and clothing, overal good expierence. Ill definately be back for more goodies in the near future

Poor Quality and over-priced.

The “Volk Racing” Lugnuts were of such poor quality that the threads started to strip after first use and, upon their immediate removal, it was noted that the rotating seats had already seized/cold welded to the body of the nut. The nuts had also damaged the inner recess surface of the newly coated alloy wheels. Very disappointed! Avoid.
Update: My Negative review above was flagged by jdmperformance.net for containing 'defamatory content' and was removed by Trustpilot pending review. They found it NOT to be defamatory and it has been restored. So despite desperate attempts to get negative reviews removed by labelling them as 'defamatory', it would seem Trustpilot's review system worked well in my case.

Wheel hardware performance is dependent on correct compatibility with the wheel seat design and adherence to manufacturer torque specifications. Without this information, it is not possible to determine whether the outcome described relates to the product supplied, installation variables, or external factors.
