The experience I had with Johnstons prams was amazing. They answered every query I had before purchase, the item received packaged safely! Couldn’t fault them so far.

I bought a balance bike for my daughter. Website was easy to use. When I ordered the bike in the colour I wanted I was sent an email the very next day to say it wasn't avaiable in that colour and the support team change the order for me. I didn't need to do anything. Very helpful. Bike arrived and was exactly what we wanted was perfect. Delivery was fast and was kept up to date on delivery time frame. Absolutely love this shop.

It is a nice seat, good materials, very practical features. Being able to turn the seat sideways whilst wrestling the child into the car is definitely a game changer. Easy to clean, fool proof. For us the other important feature was upon selecting a seat, that it can be rotated into rear facing position.. this gives us and extra level of safety.

There are two annoying things though:
Once the baby figures out that the shoulder staps can be pulled sideways (it's hard but he can) he can lean out of the seat. An extra buckle on the staps would be handy at chest height. We use a shoe lace to keep them together.

The other one is the Isofix "arms". They are adjustable and on my car the have to be fully extended in order to latch. But if you happen to accidentally push the seat back into the seat, the "arms" retract and with them in that position you can't rotate the seat anymore unless you detach the arms, push them out and relatch. You can live with it, learn to be gentle but a bit of a nuisance.

Still we really like it.

Bought my travel system online from Johnston Prams and would highly recommend. The quality of product, customer service and efficient delivery of items were all 5 star. The Jane Matrix-Light-2 has been amazing, having a swivel car seat which lies flat has perfect and I have had so many comments on it.

Negative experience and I think customer are not valued . Miss leading information to sell pram accessories and once returned no confirmation of items returned for Klarna purposes. Klarna was chasing for payments. Also they have charged for the postage. Customer service advisor advises from the book which are vague replies and not helpful.

The Jane kawai pushchair is not even worth 1 star. This pram is dangerous and the wheel keeps falling off. This has happened in the middle of the road and on curbs. Please if anyone is reading this buy a more reliable brand because this pram was meant to be convenient and sturdy and instead it just broke and I will never get the 800 pound back. On top of that I was hugely misinformed that the car seat lasts until the child is over a year and my son is currently 10 months and is squashed in that car seat. It’s ridiculous the amount of lies they are telling mothers to get more money off them. This pram is a danger hazard and WILL break within the first 6 months of using it. It also is meant to be used in city area and this pram cannot even handle that. All the pavements go at an angle for run off and this pram is nearly toppling over just trying to walk on these walkways. The back wheels are also off to the side of the pram so some narrow doors it can’t go through. I can honestly say the only thing worth while in the package was the foot muff of all things, the rain cover never even attached to the pram and wasn’t my even made for that model. I honestly think this pram should be taken off the market as it’s going to cause a serious accident.

Please please mothers do not buy this pram ever

[[ in response to the reply the front wheels swivel and come off I don’t understand why the wheels need to come off at all when it can be folded down and the wheels turned in. This has caused some serious scares for me and my baby. My baby is a small baby but the shape of the car seat is strange as it’s a fixed round shape there is no much room at the sides for my child’s arms they’re just squashed in front of him. I have had to borrow car seats to get places and the pram was my first choice when I picked it. Sorry I ever did it. I just hope other mothers never buy this pram because it isn’t safe that the wheels can come off so easily to begin with. Either re look at the way it’s put together or just stop selling it please. This was bought at a S Johnston store in the UK

Johnston prams contacted me this week as the UK distributor after I contacted my pram company with a problem.
They dealt with my problem and issued a replacement part the same day which was on my doorstep under 48 hours after contacting me! 5 star service.

I had a few problems with my order and Johnston Prams were incredibly good at communicating and solving any issues and queries I had. In the end I had to return the order, but Jonathan and the team I dealt with could not have been more helpful and quick in solving the situation. Excellent customer support and quick delivery. Thank you!

Really unhappy with the service I received. The straps in the car seat are becoming loose after 5 mins of my Son being in it. I spoke to the manager at Johnston prams and the only way he can help me is leaving me without a car seat for 7/8 days while they investigate the product. I explained I have four kids and I need a car seat for school runs etc. said there was nothing he could do. Can’t lend car chairs as of accidents etc but advised me to lend one off of a friend. Dissatisfied customer!

Very disappointed! I purchased a pram package for £499.00, the parts which did arrive were beautiful but the car seat was missing. My daughter is currently due and now I'm having to chase up one of the most important parts of my purchase. The car seat is what I need the most! Im so upset and stressed out and have to wait till the 19th as its Easter holidays when my daughter can come at any point. This is NOT how a mum to be should feel just before having a baby and now I will most likely have to purchase one elsewhere and incur more financial costs. I've sent 2 emails with no responses and inspite how pretty the design is i can only think it may have had other parts missing I don't know about and been a risk to use. Unfortunately my family did not feel secure purchasing from this company and have now faced massive stresses just before our daughter arrives.

Ordered a pram footmuff and order went through and they took my money no problem.
The item then was out of stock on the website but I received no communication about a delay. Had to chase repeatedly to see if they knew when they’d be getting new stock and my order would be shipped. After over a month I requested a refund as baby is due and I need to purchase an alternative. Had a similar situation with another brand recently whose communication was impeccable so I didn’t mind and knew where i stood. I felt like Johnston had my money so no longer cared.
Refund requested and promised within 1-2 days and now still nothing after a week. I’ve jsut had to chase again not what I need at 8months pregnant.
Customer care is nonchalant at best and no real apology or acknowledgement that this is not acceptable.
Very poor form.

We purchased the Jane Trider 10 Piece Matrix Travel System for almost £1000, hoping to use it for all of our children. Unfortunately, the mechanical connection to the ISOFix broke, we sent it back for them to fix (during the guarantee period), but they said either we flew with it or used it incorrectly, which didn't happen. Now they request that we pay another £150 for them to change it. I would never buy anything from the make again, bad mechanical parts and no customer service to support it.

We bought our travel set last year as the first thing for our baby - our choice was the Matrix Light 2. We love it, we traveled all across Europe twice before he turned 6month old. The child seat was a godsend! Now we use the next phase for our strolls in the park and the child seat only in the car. The stand is super easy to open and close, east to store. Probably the basket could be bigger, but it wasn’t important when we were choosing. Generally it is rather bulkier than some others but again we didn’t need a very compact model. The nappy bag that came with the set is a simple, functional bag, nothing special or fancy, a little bit smaller than allowed on flights - practical, it does the job, enough for nappies.
Everyone was stunned how amazing it is. We would buy is al over again! Now we are searching for the next phase child seat, it’s obvious where we are looking!

Love the buggies and accessories, their simple fold mechanism which doesn't mean taking off the wheels. Gorgeous style and so comfortable for baby. Thank you Jane Uk!
