ATOM 10 oz Review (Purchased 8/27)

I received my 10 oz ATOM on 8/27 and was excited to try it. states made in America. Hopefully with American parts. No distinction indicated that foreign parts were used.
This review highlights a few issues I’ve noticed—just my opinion, open to constructive feedback.

When prepping the bottle, I fully charged it (about 3 hours). Upon filling it for the first time, I noticed a small amount of water at the bottom covering the PEM screen under the white cap. Concerned about whether the bottle had been used or if the water was safe, I contacted support. On 8/30, Franz replied, explaining the water was intentionally added to preserve the PEM’s integrity during shipping and was completely safe.

After rinsing and handwashing the bottle, I reassembled it. Since that first charge on 8/30, the battery has lasted impressively well—32 button presses (124 minutes total use) and still half a charge left. Battery performance is a solid 10/10.

However, for $139, I expected the bottle to be glass. I use it twice daily, morning and evening, energizing the water twice for 8 minutes each time. That’s 256 minutes so far, though I later learned this isn’t enough to maximize benefits.

The product description states the ATOM infuses 5 PPM per 10-minute cycle. With a 10 oz bottle, that means about 2.5 full charges are needed. This isn’t a big deal if you have a routine, but without one, it could take 60 minutes just to prepare the recommended 58 oz daily intake. Better clarification on the website would help.

I also later discovered (via a weight-based calculator) that I’d need about 58 oz daily for real benefits. Had I known this, I would have bought a larger model. To make matters worse, I received an email offer for a bigger bottle with a discount right after my purchase—which was frustrating. For the same price, I would have chosen the tumbler.

The FAQ section is detailed, but I feel the most important questions should be front and center:
1. How much water do I need daily for real benefit?
2. How long does it take to infuse a given bottle size?
3. How long does the infusion last in the water? (For the ATOM, 10–13 minutes.)
4. A chart showing infusion cycles, bottle sizes, and resulting PPM would be very helpful.

Other points of confusion: Does the PEM always need water in it for preservation, or only during shipping? Franz didn’t clarify. Also, can anyone realistically drink 32 oz in 10–13 minutes before hydrogen dissipates? Most importantly: does one cycle actually deliver the claimed benefits?

Including test strips with the bottle and offering an easy return policy if results don’t match the claims would go a long way.

Physically, I don’t notice a difference yet—likely because I need to increase my daily intake fourfold. I’ll consider writing an updated review once I’ve adjusted.
In the time it took me to write and proofread this review I noticed my bottle had lost about 1/3 of the bottles capacity. NORMALLY I would charge twice then drink. No leaks. But apparently the longer you wait the bottle leaks.

Shipping was a bit delayed but I got outstanding customer service from Dianna and I am well pleased with my new bottle! I like dealing with an American company, third party tested and life time warranty.

The fast response to my issue was great customer service. I love the ion bottle!

Bought two bottles and use them quite often. I’ve noticed a difference in hydration, and would highly recommend to someone that is interested in trying the product.

They dont deliver to Switzerland. And the 20$ coupon is a scam. Cannot apply it to the cart. Not to mention, the add to cart button on the website is broken. Horrible experience!

The customer service turned an otherwise difficult situation into a "fix" for my problem. One of the bottles I ordered wouldn't charge all the way for some reason. Things happen! The other bottle works perfectly and I appreciate "Andreah" and her sticking with me for the fix. You can't do better than good customer service! Like the product very much.

The best hydrogen bottle out there as far as quality, power and durability of the bottle. On top of that, the best customer service I've ever dealt with in my entire life for any product!

I have been using the Ion bottles for quite a while. I have noticed the difference it makes in my overall heath. I have supplied a few to our employees and they have noticed the difference in their health. Just recently I had an issue with one of the Ion pitchers I ordered over a six months ago. I spoke to their support staff (Andreah and Frank), who were outstanding in assisting me with the troubleshooting process. In short, they talk the talk and walk the walk. In plain words, they support their products and their customers. Their actions during this process have gained them, a lifelong customer and supporter of their products.

I would to extend my sincere gratitude to Franz B. and the support team at ionbottles.com for their exceptional assistance in resolving an issue with my ionbottles pitcher. Water is my beverage of choice and this product has me drinking more than usual. My water tastes different. It's smooth and I can feel my body reacting to it.

I love that it's a short amount of time to have my water charged!

My only downside is that there isn't a cap for the bottle itself, only the filter.

The ion bottle worked perfectly, but it stopped holding a charge. I inquired about troubleshooting. I followed all the troubleshooting tips and was still unable to resolve the issue. The company sent me a new iobottle and just charged me for the shipping. I conducted extensive research before purchasing my ionbottle, and the reviews were excellent. I feel I made the right choice.

Great product and even better customer service. Company response is very quick, and their resolution of my problem went far beyond expectations. The glass shattered when my bottle fell off an unbalanced table. I contacted IonBottle for advice on removing the glass from the tread. Their concern for glass remaining in the tread and my safety was very appreciated. And they absolutely blew my mind when they offered to send me a new bottle free. I’m so incredibly grateful 💕.

THE BOTTLE THEY SENT ME IS WRONG!!! I ordered the whole Ion Pro Water Bottle and only received the replacement one! I am from the Philippines and I dont know what to do.

Ok so I had a flag ship bottle lasted me years and then I bought another one cause mine broke and it's production for what ever reason failed. So I decided to reach out thinking MAYBE SOMEONe will hear me. So I sent an email asking that maybe I could get another base to my bottle cause mine was acting weird. They asked me to upload a video of my problem (within a day I might add) and after viewing my video; a HUMAN reaches out(!) and now ION is sending me a replacement, like, within three days of reaching out! A REAL person emailed me and we talked back n forth about it in a few emails.
Not only are they replacing my bottle they found my shipping without me having to upload a bunch of proof other than a video of my issue. Hats off to this team. There message of clean water shines thru their professionalism and care of my problem. They have made a life long customer out of me by simply showing up. Bravo #ionbottle and thank you for giving a sh*t😚..

Had an issue with my original bottle I ordered. I sent an email and got a response back very quick. The team was very helpful and understanding. After inspection they were able to send a replacement.

The customer service was excellent! They were friendly, and responsive.
