When I reached out their customer service to bring this to their attention, they said "Direct billing" is application to some other plans but not this one. If that were true, why do they market "direct billing" on the specific plan which actually does not offer it.

Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience. I submitted an appeal for my mother’s medical claim and was told on June 15 that it could take up to 90 days. More than 90 days later, there is still no decision or response, despite multiple follow-ups. Completely unacceptable communication and customer service. I would not recommend this insurance company.

They deny everything under the provision of pre-existing condition. Patriot America Plus Plan will deny any claim. Here is the extremely broad definition that they use in claim denial letter: Pre-existing Condition: Any Injury, Illness, sickness, disease, or other physical, medical, Mental or Nervous Disorder, condition or ailment that, with reasonable medical certainty, existed at the time of Application or at any time during the three (3) years prior to the Effective Date of this insurance, whether or not previously manifested, symptomatic or known, diagnosed, Treated, or disclosed to the Company prior to the Effective Date, and including any and all subsequent, chronic or recurring complications or consequences related thereto or resulting or arising therefrom.”
