Instawork has been a game changer for us. In the food service industry, especially as of late, you often have call out, vacation, and turnover. Instawork helps fill those temporary vacancies.

Instawork is definitely one of the better gig work apps out there but theres always room for improvement. They do offer insta pay and have a higher earning potentials . However there is very very few jobs to choose from and the ones that they do have are either super far away and or for short durations.

I am still waiting on thier AI system to explain to me why I am not being paid credit and debit card tips from a shift July 26th covering the strike at Fenway Park. You can not speak with a human and their response time can be hours. You can wait hours for their system to reply but if you don’t reply back within a certain time the close the chat and you have to start all over again. Come to find out I am not the only professional being denied payment of tips. It’s a great app as long as you’re not being tipped. Terrible customer service or help if there are any issues. I have submitted documentation and still have not received and resolution.

Update: was told it is being reviewed and it has been over a week since anyone has responded after being told it was being escalated and being reviewed internally. I have also reached out to Aramark.

Over the years of utilizing their team, they have provided our operations with quality and quantity. They're quick to communicate, give solutions to operational needs, and are great gift givers as partners. Having used several local staffing agencies it was suprememly frustrating to ask for help, and recieve bodies instead of helpful associates. Half the time I was tracking those persons down trying to get them to do the tasks required.

It felt as though staffing agencies were taking anyone they could get off the street and tossing them into jobs they werent qualified or willing to do.

With Instawork, it is specific to our industry. People are aware up front that they are looking for food service gigs, not warehouseing, not janitorial, not construction....food service.

Secondly, people on the app need to have a modicum of intelligence just to get through the process of becoming a pro. Compared with the quality of associates we were getting from local staffing agencies, this was worth its weight in gold. Mind you, there are still some individuals where being prompt is a struggle however the hit rate on good people is much higher with Instawork.

Instawork solved our labor needs. We finally found a reliable labor force. They have an easy to use app, a great support staff and a unique system to allow you to see who you are getting and their experience. You are able to add great workers to your roster to insure you get the best crew available to you when ordering.

This platform allows you to schedule work from many businesses and you choose the shift that works for you. Some shifts offer insta pay and you can receive payment just after your shift ends.

This is a great app for people needing quick work and a variety of different areas and on. Short notice. Only Downfall is if you experience a problem and need to talk to support, it is almost impossible to reach a real person and the lag time on response is crazy . Issues usually unresolved and you just except the loss unfortunately

With a 0 STAR REVIEW, Instawork hasn't sent me a link to verify my identity for over a month. They will not call a previous company to verify my employment. I gave them the previous supervisor's name and phone number and they put the supervisor down as a friend instead of my supervisor which is the only reason I gave them contact information to the company which cannot be reached by text. They will not call the company. The position that I held is the kind of work that I joined Instawork to find. I am being notified of positions that I am not looking for instead of positions that I am looking for. Support is a farse; no reply at any point since the first contact. If this changes, I will be happy to report it.

I've been waiting a month to be paid my tips. All AI help desk, slow response times & zero resolution. There are no humans to speak to. I was promised funding 8 days after the gig, that was extended to another 8 days, & now it was further extended an additional 10 days with no explanation & no end in sight. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Although it’s not their fault but, the gigs that are available are too far away from me. Even when I filter everything and put my preferences. Every time I visit the site (which is often) they never save my preferences and distance locations. I am always looking at gigs I can’t work because they are too far.

I love working side jobs for Instawork. They have a variety of jobs I am qualified for. They also have a very trustworthy payment system.

I don’t like that fact that we do all the work and the client has all the power to lower our rating and even block us over their emotions . This is by far not fair . We work and get punished . We are tax payers here .

A useful tool for side work, seasonal work, etc. Lots of flexibility. Diversity in gig work. Some jobs are better than others, that's the only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars. As a company they seem respectable and understanding of individual scenarios. The consequences of tardiness or missed work is completely reasonable. If you communicate, they are quite flexible overall.

My experience with instawork has been nothing but a success. I've met so many good people. Most of the opportunities I have had working with others have been successful. I recommend instawork to everyone I know. I've been with instawork for over 2yrs now.
