Do not use Instawork. My account was suspended for a no show and I worked the shift. There was a pending review for the payment but Instawork clocked me in early and expected the company to pay for it. The very next day it said my account was suspended for a no show and hours earlier the payment was under review for payment. I actually took pictures when I arrived the time the app said I arrived, the timesheet and a picture of the event. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

It’s been a great experience up until I found the company taking extremely large cuts of each shift and overall hourly rates have dropped. I’m grateful for this connection to jobs but it’s getting harder to equate the price of gas to bill increase to energy ratio.

Instawork works fine as long as you report to work on time and don’t have to cancel your shifts due to life events or scheduling conflicts with a main/FT job. Recently, I’ve had to cancel 3 shifts-1 for illness and 2 for my main job. Each and every time I report to work the gig after these events, suddenly they can’t validate my hours nor my attendance via the app when I have pictures from the app itself confirming my arrival and departure, plus clock in and out times. The app the day after is “glitchy” and won’t accept the codes properly. I literally had the lead person at my side while doing it and the app was doing the most. I can guarantee if I work this same gig next week, I’ll have no issues with the app and will be paid promptly. Just be wary…Instawork will punish you for missing gigs by withholding payment for gigs you do afterwards for as long as they can even if you have proof from their app you did them. Very frustrating to work for something and then have it withheld 7-10 days because you cancelled a gig.

I was able to do little jobs here and there due to me being in the high desert. I applied for a job that did a background check and for something that started in 2019 and finished in 2021, they banned me from working, that is unfair when I’m trying to get my life back on track that now I have no way to support myself. That just tanked my self esteem.

So far so good I like the app and options. Convenient and proffessional

The company did not want to give us our required break until all the work was done this was not fair and I spoke up about it you need to check how there running this place felt like a slavery in Modern day

It was nice concert we put up a bunch of candles the company was super nice and accommodating

I did a task that was different! Preparing chicken sandwiches for an important game! It was pretty easy overall! A little bit got fast paced later! 😃🐥😊

Instawork, is reliable source of income. You get your shifts and go. It’s a simple platform to use and the requesters are really nice and professional. If you need emergency income Instawork is surely it.

Experience a lot of disrespect at different shifts, but overall it’s a cool app and a beneficial platform, praise to Allah in every situation.

The other people that I work around are great, the job locations are even better. The insta pay is always on time and much needed.

I love that they are providing jobs for people who are in need of one. I love the places I worked and the people. I am learning a lot and experiencing new things.

I like the freedom when i work. Just wish there were more closer consistent shifts throughout the month

I am having a hard time receiving my invitation to work, getting my schedule and clock in and out codes. I am also not seeing my overtime pay. I like the work but the application is confusing and not easy to get my assignments.

I love it, its pretty easy.

I like that you can get paid instantly the flexibility and the chance to experience different work experiences. I don’t like you can’t get into contact with some of the contacts if you’re having a problem.

Good variety of shifts, easy workable app. Requisition's usually vague, lacking pertinent information regarding, parking, meet up location, specific instructions to make event/experience successful.
Lack of specific information or personnel contact to assist contractors to have successful positions or completion of work.
