Be cautious, if you’re thinking of subscribing …
I took a subscription online through there online advertising feature.
I paid through Apple Pay and the money was transferred straight away, after which I’ve heard nothing.
I’ve tried contacting them through their digital support email address, sent them screenshots of my bank statement showing the payment to inews, plus my email address, home address, full name and a screenshot of the Apple payment to them.
They simply say they don’t have any record of me.
They haven’t returned my payment, I’ve tried phoning, but it simply asks me to email them, which I’ve now done 8 times.
Be cautious if you are thinking of subscribing.
Current subscriber UNABLE to resubscribe.
Current subscriber. Highly recommend this newspaper. However, unable to renew my subscription.
Have been trying for an hour to renew my subscription and it’s impossible. Issue is password update. When receiving email to update my password because I have forgotten it, yes really, it asks for my current password.
Also, impossible to contact them. I did email them a few months ago regards renewal of my subscription and they totally ignored me.
Lastly, when opening my “i” page it offers for me to renew but as above is so frustrating that I can’t.
Your IT should do better as it will loose you a good subscriber as I’m getting really fed up with this nonsense.

Sexist discriminatory articles & slowly turning into The Daily Mail
Read: "Hitler's 'micropenis and ADHD' revealed by DNA testing - key claims examined"
Sounds to me like they are trying to make out that he was "naturally" born like that because of some disability or imperfection. They could just say the same thing that the nation that supported him all suffered from the same issue and even the dictators around the world today.
That "Clare Wilson" looking at her LinkedIn account is only a "Science reporter" working for Inews from July 2024 but what other background does she have in science I don't see any other than journalism and "specialising in medicine and life sciences" with some fancy awards in writing so I put that in question.
During World War 1 the Germans were living in such dire, appalling conditions so some were bound to become deranged like that in thought. She ignored all of that and focused on his genitals ignoring how they once lived, their background and the way things were in those days which sounds to me absolutely appalling, sloppy and unprofessional coming from this newspaper.
I find that The Inews paper seems to be slowly turning into The Daily Mail and this is the latest example. I stopped buying The Daily Mail many years ago as soon as I started seeing more and more sexist articles about men with "Daily Mail Reporter" or "Daily Mail staff" used to mask the name of the writer where it seemed to me that they could say what they like and not be known to the public to avoid taking accountability.
Very disappointed with the Inews. I would have given it a 3/4 out of 5 star rating but after this article which reminded me of something I'd see when I last brought The Daily Mail 0 stars.
Back a decade ago I remember seeing articles putting it down to problems with his teeth and now this.
At the bottom and they link it to autism and ADHD.
Absolutely disgusting.
Just found according to Wikipedia:
Owners: Daily Mail and General Trust (2019–present)
So it is the Daily Mail from 2019 and 6 years down the line I see the rubbish, crap reporters or writers like the one above, the sexist and now discriminatory articles allowed to creep in and appear.

Save your money.....
I opted in for a trial subscription without realising how pitiful the quality of the content was. Not only is it bias, but it also misleads. A prime example of this is the article by Emily Braeger - Money Reporter published 3rd June 2025 in the Pensions and Retirement section. While admittedly this may not be classed as ‘highly important’, it does demonstrate an irreverent attitude to relevant sensitive issues given the current belief by a large proportion of the population that pensioners are ‘rolling in it’.
To cut a long story short, it uses the PLSA – Retirement Living Standards published data, stating that Pensioners can live with less money, quoting a study from Loughborough University. And although it does state the figures / examples quoted, are within a framework; for those who glance, have selected reading habits, or are unable to have a ‘world view’, will believe that the current government is completely indulging those who have consistently grafted, gone without, saved, and carried Britain through thick & thin the last 60+ tumultuous years.
Is it that the ‘study’ carried out by the University of Loughborough is inappropriate, because it has exclude important factors (such as basic costs needed for coach/rail travel, TV licence payments, house insurance, water rates, community charge, and dental costs, just to name a few common expense necessities), or has Braeger simply cherry-picked from the said study. Either way, irresponsible articles like this are damaging to a significant part of the population (who have spent their formative years ‘get-on-with-it’ rather than bellyaching about hard-done-by they are).
Worse still, this vein of selective reporting continues via Callum Mason (Deputy Money Editor), 6th June 2025 6:00 AM, where he quotes the Intergenerational Foundation findings (which again are highly subjective statements based on a narrow criterion), adding to the already false impression of the average pensioner.
But since there seem to be a number of iPaper articles having questionable accuracy (which offer unsuspecting readers a high proportion of disinformation), I agree with the majority of others who have taken the time to give their feedback here.
The only positive thing I can honestly say about iPaper is their puzzle (unlike their news) which help to keep me somewhat amused.
Stonkingly good Customer Service team
For the life of me I can't see what all the fuss is about concerning the Customer Service response. True, after reading the negativity here, my expectations were set low, but I was bowled over by the diligence with which the inews Customer Services team sorted out my difficulties with logging into my account. Ashleigh and I worked across several days of trying different ways until she finally created a new password for me and now I can enjoy reading my paper again. So folks, be patient and persist when you encounter problems with your accounts, and they will be resolved, I'm sure.
Paid for subscription - vouchers not received Customer service hopeless
Paid for subscription, vouchers didn't turn up. Called their subscriptions - only answerphone that told me they would answer a left message in about 3-days.
I kept calling, when eventually I did get through, the agent said i didn't have subscription against my postcode so I referred to an email confirmation that had been sent and guess what, I do have a subscription - but no vouchers.
Admin is a shambles, agent was less than hopeless.....the situation is unacceptable but the i doesn't seem to give a damn (if they read them, they don't respond to reviews).
To think I cancelled a Times subscription to be treated like this.

Unsubstantiated plant based research.
Keeps publishing articles by Tim Spector (Zoe). These articles are easily shown as false, they are heavily biased towards the vegetarian/vegan movement. They never show the research from the low-fat/keto side.

Miserable. No one answering calls. A familiar story in today's day and age. Won't be subscribing again. Why is customer service at these companies just so appallingly dreadful now?
A Trojan Horse For Conservatives
I'm calling it now. I think the i paper/inews, could be like a trojan horse for conservatives.
The idea is they're 'independent', but the problem is, they are owned by the Daily Mail.
They have this page where it shows news snippets from other newspapers/media, etc, and they are often with conservative bias, and always without any counter argument to it.
It makes sense that is a trojan horse too. Because a non-conservative wouldn't buy a conservative newspaper, so it makes sense to sneakily brainwash people (who think they've avoided a conservative biased newspaper), by pretending it's not a conservative newspaper, but still throwing in unchallenged conservative opinions into it.
I mean, how else do you get a non-conservative or centrist to believe in your conservative views? They won't buy your newspaper, so you create a newspaper that is more liberal, on the face of it, and then thrown in trojan horse articles or even just snippets of articles from conservative sources to attempt to change people's minds.
Also very suspicious after the USA elections, the inews editor was saying 'oh Kamala wasn't good enough blah blah', like every other paid for news site, (which had been told what to say).
She had way more support leading up to the election, despite the total conservative bias in the media.
Trump had completely soiled his underpants, but the reality is, Musk and Trump stole the election, and then a lot of editors were told to write 'oh it was all Kamala's fault', as if we're meant to just forget the support she had, and believe that Trump really won.
If you ever want trust back again, you need to be owned by people that are not pushing conservative agendas to protect their own bank accounts.

Badly informed articles that show such bias of the author. Seems a platform for their journalists to vent when apparently reporting " news".
Recent article on EV was from such a narrow perspective.
