Do not use this company if you want a contractor who simply ignores you when things are not going their way. Be warned Darren and Steve are nice on the face of things but do I trust them after this? Absolutely not! Take your business elsewhere, to someone who respects their customer and is willing to fix things that they are responsible for.
I looked in to his company as ignoring me has not gone down well, his last two companies have gone in to liquidation or dissolved and Darren is now no longer a director of this one, his wife is. It rings alarm bells as he has probably done this before and after digging in to this I found this to be true. His last company ‘superior driveways bury’ has had a bunch reviews confirming this type of behaviour, ignoring phone calls and refusing to take accountability of their work, to even accusing customers of slander.
I was not happy with the end product and Darren is unresponsive to any feedback we have given to come and rectify the issues we encountered. From the start we have told him we wanted a few things sorting before the sealing was done. I rang him prior to coming to tell him to speak to my wife before sealing to make sure nothing was missed. He arrived on the day of the sealing and told my wife he would grab her before sealing to check the work but this did not happen. He simply sealed and left without any consultation or checks on the work. He had no intention of doing it as he did not want to complete the remedial work.
As I was not happy with the end product I asked him to come back in. He eventually did but sorted nothing. I sent him pictures of the things I wanted him to look at but he totally ignored them. What has annoyed me the most is that he said he would remove a piece of concrete edging that was previously there and that we agreed would be removed, when he returned I thought this had been removed as it was no longer in the garden but then later discovered he had dumped this behind my fence! Pictures are attached. Unprofessionalism at its finest, absolute no regard for the customer, just wanted to finish the job, this has now left me with the job to remove this myself. Worse still after discovering this he has now gone on to ignore my calls completely, my calls go straight to voicemail so he has most probably blocked my calls
I also queried the guarantee which on his website states 10 years and was clearly discussed with his sales guy, Steve. Upon reading the back of the reciept it stated 1 year, again he has gone quiet on me when I asked him if this was correct. Now I am concerned that if anything was to go wrong with this drive, he will not come in to rectify it judging from his silence on fixing only the smallest of things. It only means I would have to go through a lengthy court process to get a resolution as I do not trust him one bit.
Avoid this company, they are not trustworthy and will not do anything to fix things if things go wrong.
