Booked a campervan relocation through Imoova expecting a genuinely discounted deal. While the trip itself was fine and the van was in good condition, the pricing felt misleading once all costs were considered.
After comparing prices directly with the rental company, the total cost ended up being nearly the same as a standard round-trip rental, except we also had to pay significant extra fuel costs, return flights, and a separate Imoova booking fee. The way the “$1 per day” relocation is advertised doesn’t reflect the real-world cost if you actually want enough time to travel and camp (which in our case was only a week).
Unless Imoova addresses this with some form of reimbursement or clearer pricing, I wouldn’t book a relocation through them again. Do the math very carefully before committing.

Good experience. Easy and fast pick up, return as well. Van was full equiped. Very cheap, good way travel as a backpacker.

Absolutely brilliant. 2nd time using them in Australia and flawless. Both pick ups were from Avis rentals at local airports and drop off the same. No complains at all

We book with indie camper they had a lot of issues but they removed the 2 nights that we were going to pay and give us another extra free of charge. So overall cuz of that we had a good experience, imoova as always was understanding of the situation and help us on they side. We received the link to the Spotify playlist of imoova that we enjoy on the road we were listeners number 23 hehee

Hot water did not work. Unit was very different from the one posted by Imoova. Having large bed on top of the main bed made it very uncomfortable. The posted unit had a shower and toilet this one didn’t. The pickup was very brief and not helpfull. On completion the service was excellent. Unit seemed very old but did get us there.

IMOOVA are very well organised and easy to deal with. All parties were aware of the process and it went very smoothly. Well done IMMOVA!

We booked an RV for cheap through them as it needed to be returned from Hobart to Melbourne. They were unresponsive about the details of the spirit of Tasmania booking and when we finally got an answer we found out it was on a fully booked out ferry overnight with no room booked. The spirit staff advised us the car was booked well in advance so they either choose to withhold the details or were incompetent. Since we couldn't book a room and have kids we had to cancel. Despite over a month of notice they took out security deposit and were uninterested in finding a solution. I'd highly advise against doing business with them as they seem untrustworthy.

Enjoyed the run ,we’ll set up and all fell into place.

Excellent service,very easy to pick up and drop off

Very easy pick up and drop off, ute was very good condition.

It took a little while to go through all the paperwork to get going intitally, but the staff were really helpful and overall the journey was fairly cruisey.

Its an interesting way to travel around and can be really cost effective if you have the time, especially if you get a campervan with multiple days. I would definitely recommend trying it if you enjoy driving. I would happily do another.

The pick up experience was slow as the staff were not aware we were picking the car up but eventually got on the road. The manager gave us a quick rundown on how to operate the car which was good. The car itself was very clean inside and out. The drop off process was the same as the pick as the staff had no record of the car being dropped off and they didn't provide any evidence that the car had been returned in good condition. Besides that it was a good trip.

Imoova used to be great but with all the add-on charges they’ve introduced it’s as if you're hiring a regular rental. Like so many companies they’ve just got greedy, sad.

Did a recolation where the linen kit was supposed to be provided, it was never given to us. Had to pay 100€ for sleeping bags. 20+ emails and I'm still fighting for a refund of linen. Terrible company to deal with, do not recommend

There was no refund on a VIP backorder booking when I had already found an alternative myself.
Speaking to someone is not easy to get ahold off either!
