After a LONG time of badgering from my wife and during lockdown I finally gave in and decided that for my own sanity (and my ears) I would look into buying a hot tub. I was working on a garden project which gave me a corner location, 2.1mtrs x 2.1mtrs in size on which I laid hardcore, sleepers and decking. Bingo! Except that the delivery of a hot tub to this point involved carting it up 30 odd steps and then lowering it 1mtr over a dry stone wall. So when I found ideal hot tubs it was due to the size limitations and their site survey/delivery promise that I decided to give them a call. The Gemini was the only one I could find that would fit onto the area I had available and so in a sense the Gemini chose us rather than the other way round. I called Ideal late May. We were told that if we ordered one there and then I could have it delivered in 6 weeks but I wanted to see one ‘in the flesh’ before purchasing and as Covid restrictions didn't allow for a site survey to take place I had to wait a little longer. Due to the tricky nature of the delivery I was asked to send photos via email of the access and delivery point. The 30 odd step route was instantly declined by the delivery team and in fairness I wouldn’t fancy having to attempt that myself but Danielle at Ideal was really proactive in assisting with alternative delivery suggestions and following a few email exchanges the delivery team agreed that the tub could be sledged about 150 yards along a narrow path (negotiating 4 steps) and then lowered down the 1mtr dry stone wall and positioned on the yet to be built decking. Great!
I was not able to visit the showroom however until 3 July as they were not open due to the pandemic. Not their fault and at least they were always on the end of a phone for any queries. When we did visit the only tub on show was the Gemini which seemed surprisingly large to what I expected and so I measured it. Exactly as advertised, 1.9 x 1.9 mtrs. It looked great and the sales girl, Abigail was not at all pushy or trying any pressure techniques. The tubs basically sell themselves! There was previously an offer of free delivery but as it was no longer available (despite their Facebook page stating otherwise) we were offered a free chemical kit if we placed an order. We went home to have a little think and by 5pm or so I had called Ideal who were able to take a deposit over the phone with an initial estimate for delivery of late September. This was a little disappointing but given the state of the lockdown at the time they were doing well to get them imported at all and so were doing well in very difficult circumstances.
Jump forward to end of August, the decking ready and painted, railway sleepers fixed in place to slide the tub down I called Ideal for an update. I was asked to call back mid September as they were unable to give a delivery day until closer to the time of initial expected delivery. Ok no problem. The next day I got a call from Ideal. ‘Your tub will be there Monday’. Fortunately I was able to shift work commitments (though they would have altered delivery day had I not been able to - it was my choice to accept). I was asked a time preference and I gave 8-3. On the day I called Ideal to ask if there was an update to actual time and they said that the delivery team didn’t tell them the times of delivery but they can deliver up to 7 pm. In the end the delivery lads called me at 1ish saying they’d be half an hour. They were. With everything in place and me, my lad and my neighbour to help (as had been requested by the delivery team) the delivery went well enough. The lads were quite quick to point out that they were busy that day and needed to get gone as soon as possible. They did seem a little bit lacking in TLC but given that they do this all day every day to them it was just another tub. Having said that they did know what they were doing and they positioned the tub and plugged it in without problem and they were polite and quickly explained the controls. The tub instructions sent by ideal are comprehensive and the spa Chemical kit came a few days before delivery. Everything went well but after a few days I found the water to be slightly difficult to control (PH and Chlorine) and a bit cloudy. I called Ideal and they could not be more helpful. Their advice was really good and even told me that I could call or message any time, even late on a Friday and I’d get a call or message back by the next day. Even better I was offered a free filter to say thank you for calling and for the slight delivery issue I had experienced.
So having had the tub for 2 weeks I can tell you that this tub will not disappoint. The lid and steps look great and the heat is well controlled by the ‘stat. Seats 5 comfortably, LED’s are a nice touch and Bluetooth is easy to work and decent sound quality too. At a fair price you must at least look to Ideal if you want quality service and a quality tub.

Really good company. Answer questions within minutes and communicate well throughout the whole process. Amazing product and the delivery guys were so lovely and helpful upon delivery and went out of their way to make sure we made the best of our hot tub !

Ordered hot tub from the company earlier this year and arrived a couple weeks ago and it’s been great. As new hot tub owners the company have been super responsive to my many questions and queries lol. Any issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently. All in all really pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend.

We recently purchased a hot tub from ideal hot tubs and the service was fantastic. The office staff were polite and very friendly and answered all the questions which were asked. Payment was also safe and secure! Delivery was also on time and the hot tub it self is great. Very high quality. 5* rating from us.

My aim was to purchase a hot tub to help with health problems - new to all this, I did a little bit of research and then made contact with Danielle at Ideal Hot Tubs. The information provided was great re: access requirements, the difference between 13 and 32 amp etc etc. After a day or two of consideration, I decided to purchase the Quartz hot tub.
Jo very kindly rung me and asked various questions, in particular about the warranty. I was advised that the hot tub came with 3 years shell (surface and structure) warranty. I paid my deposit (which was higher than what Danielle had advised) and proceeded with the purchase. On receiving the information, I noted a difference in the warranty and within 48 hours, raised some a query alongside asking a couple of other questions re: base and potential costs should the product encounter a fault. Danielle again was very helpful and said she would honour a 3 year structure warranty - I advised that this wasn’t what I was advised at the time of purchase and had I of known, I would of considered other suppliers. I took notes during the call. The information provided at the time of the purchase was misrepresented. I was also advised that I could make the payment over the phone, via credit card. I couldn’t. After a couple of emails back and forth, Danielle proceeded to call me a liar - that I absolutely was not told what I said I was, that I had made assumption about the warranty, that I should have raised this beforehand. I was told I was then using bribery techniques because I had said that it was a misrepresentation and had already incurred costs as a result of the purchase. Ideal Hot Tub refunded my deposit, although I said not to as ultimately, I want the hot tub and was I had been promised and haven’t yet responded to my emails or telephone call. I am currently seeking legal advice.

In response to Ideal Hot Tub’s reply - yes, I was offered an additional year’s warranty on the structure only; not the shell surface so what you have said is incorrect. You did not offer or honour what was advised at the time of purchase re: warranty. I did not threaten legal action via the small claims court because of the misinformation re: being able to pay by credit card but the negligent misreprestation re: warranty, which I am continuing to pursue as I have been left out of pocket. I advised on several occasions that I wanted what was advised re warranty but you continued to refund the despot and frustrate the contact. So being told that I was not advised of the warranty, that I was not advised of that credit card payment was ok and that I had made assumption is not calling me a liar?! When I have the notes of the call. You couldn’t even give me a call to resolve this issue so I disagree about being an honest company.

We purchased our hot tub for health benefits on the 24th April through Jo, she was friendly, helpful and offered great advice. We were lucky and only had to wait 4 weeks for the delivery.

The team have ensured great communication through the four weeks wait, so thank you again Jo, Abigail, Danielle at Ideal Hot Tubs and Matt from the delivery team to ensure that the delivery would be smooth. I know it wasn’t the easiest of deliveries but my husband had it planned to perfection! And it actually went in like a breeze.

After having the Hot Tub 24 hours, My husband removed one of the panels to check for leaks as advised and realised the panel under the screw was damaged he contacted Abigail straight away and communication was fast and a new panel has been ordered, a quick and happy resolution to our issues. The Hot Tub has been in two weeks now, it’s running smoothly and we are over the moon with it. It has already brought us hours of relaxation.

We had looked at inflatable hot tubs and after enquiring and speaking to the helpful team at Ideal we took the plunge and bought a 32 amp hot tub.

The communication was great, they offered advice so we got what we needed from the hot tub and the preparation documents that came through were great to have all in place in advance.

Delivery team were spot on and prompt with good communication and would thoroughly advise anyone to use them.

After viewing the online shop, we sent an email for contact as no one is going out at the moment. We had an instant reply and a call to talk us through our options. The team know their stuff, we had a good brief about two tubs we where interested in. We received a further email with more detail and links to you tube for videos.

The next day we placed the order, very fast, efficient service, and after paying our deposit, we had a delivery date of around 4-5 weeks. Excellent communication from the team who were working remotely.

We had a confirmed delivery day, and the two guy’s that installed it were also professional and very helpful. After the installation, they ensured we had a run through of the tub, and did not leave until we were happy.

Overall a 5 star service from end to end, and we have now recommended this to our neighbours who have placed an order for a new tub with Ideal. Highly recommended and the tub is amazing☀️😎
