Unfortunately 1 star is as low as I can go they are not worth that. I placed an order for the iCarsoft CR Eagle Diagnostic Tool on 12 February 2026 on iCarsoft-us.com. The order was confirmed the same day, with an expected delivery date of 17 February 2026. A UPS tracking number was provided on 13 February 2026, however, tracking information indicates that the item has remained in Hong Kong and has not progressed since 17 February 2026.
I have contacted iCarsoft’s Sales, Support, and Service departments on multiple occasions. As of today, 24 February 2026, I have not received any response iCarsoft. As the item has not been delivered within the stated timeframe and I have received no communication regarding the delay, I have requested a refund which also seems to of been ignored as no response. ICarsoft actions or lack of them means I have to raise a dispute with PayPal and my Credit Card provider.

Outstanding product used it to check and reset battery replacement.

The Icarsoft arrived in a timely manner, and was very easy to set up and use on my Porsche. I have used it to reset the oil life on my car. Love that I don’t have to pay for a subscription for the updates.

I take care of 10 different vehicles. I’ve used it to clear codes, diagnose and monitor. It does an excellent job. It’s a fraction of the price of its competitors and the software they provide is way less expensive after my 3 years runs out.
So far, I’ve used it several times and just had to charge it for the first time. I was extremely apprehensive at first but now thrilled
with my decision.

Purchase made to use on 2022 Porsche Panamera. It worked perfectly… my only criticism is that after purchasing from their website the communication for shipping and tracking was non existent. I continually requested tracking… when it was finally sent it indicated that the unit was on my front porch t porch… I’m not that guy to leave negative reviews but needed it said….

Certainly the lowest cost scan tool that will diagnose Mercs with the 38 pin connector & requiring Mercedes HHT diagnostic capability.

I had icarsoft2 for my 2017 range rover l405.but it wouldn't reset service light or reset adblue.
I now have new version 4 everything now can reset.very happy with it.

This is my 3rd iCarsoft product. Just purchased the CR Max BT. Fantastic bit of kit. Fast updates via WiFi. Great diagnostic tool. Great customer services too.

Absolute waste of money Icarsoft.com advertised icarsoft Opel v4.0 and stated it would work for my vehicle after giving details of car. The tech team have no clue and they send non applicable updates that actually made the device not able to do any service relearns/resets after they sent them. Not responded to requests to return , ask for multiple logs that they don't read or respond to when sent. I had to get card issuer involved. Avoid this company their products are useless and will just say they will work in order to get you to buy and when you receive it you will be stuck with it. SN PD407025100203

As a trained mechanic with 30 years of experience and a daily user of professional equipment like VCDS Pro, I must strongly warn against iCarsoft products based on my recent technical failures.
1. CR MAX: Bricked after update
My CR MAX suffered a "black screen" failure after a standard update. The recovery design is flawed: it requires manual UID codes from system folders that are impossible to read when the hardware is unresponsive. Furthermore, the official "PCClientKits" tool fails with "Can't find you specified soft" despite a correct connection. When contacting their headquarters, I was offered a replacement display for $65, but they refused to guarantee if the mainboard was actually functional. It’s a "pay and hope" support model.
2. CR Plus: Systematic Port Errors
Tested with 4 different cables across 3 computers (Win 10/11), the software consistently fails to initialize the serial port. This indicates a lack of driver maintenance for modern operating systems.
3. Conclusion: Marketing over Mechanics
In my professional opinion, iCarsoft sacrifices software ergonomics and stability for low production costs. My technical warnings regarding these issues have reached over 22,000 views globally since 2016. I have now switched to an open J2534 PassThru solution for approximately 438 DKK, which offers far more freedom and reliability.
Don't buy locked hardware that can be disabled by a single update.

This product worked on a 2017 Porsche Macan and 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. Cleared the service required notification on the Porsche and will work when the battery is replaced as it needs programming. Porsche charges from $800 - $1500 for basics services. This will definitely help save you money in a very short amount of time.

I bought this OBD II to reset the oil life on my porsche cayenne. The Porsche dealership wants $400 to change oil. One DIY oil change has paid for iCarsoft tool. Haven't tried any of the other features on the iCarsoft tool, but at this point everything else is just a bonus.

I liked how simple it was to use this scanner. It is rapid and versatile. It's a bidirectional scanner, so I can do a lot with it. I'm really pleased with my purchase, and I especially appreciate the unlimited free updates!
