Very disappointing experience with HungerStation.

It took more than one hour for my food to be delivered. During the delivery, I could see that the driver was wandering around near a mall that was not even on the way to my location, which made the delay even more frustrating.

When the food finally arrived, it was cold and the quality was absolutely not the same as what I normally get when I eat at the restaurant itself. This was a completely different and very disappointing experience.

Very poor service. I will not use HungerStation again.

I have been using HungerStation in Saudi Arabia, and honestly, I am very disappointed with some of the famous restaurants and also with the delivery agents. I constantly face issues when placing orders.

For example, I recently ordered a cake from Munch Restaurant with a “Happy Birthday” note. Unfortunately, the cake arrived in very bad condition, and the application did not reimburse me the full amount. Imagine if I had been at the restaurant and they had served me a destroyed cake—I definitely would not have paid for it.

This is just one of many situations I have faced when ordering through HungerStation.

Now, regarding the delivery agents, I also frequently have issues. They often do not have change when you want to pay in cash. When you pay by card, they sometimes have problems finding the location. On one occasion, a delivery agent even blocked me on WhatsApp while I was trying to guide him to my location. My order had already been paid for by card, but he took the order and marked it as delivered.

I am very unsatisfied with my experience with HungerStation. I hope you take my feedback seriously and consider improving the quality of your customer service, restaurant handling, and delivery service.

I reviced wrong order contacted support team via chat they not helping at all every two minutes someone else in chat different person asking me to explain again I never see. Poor customer service like this in my life. As vister to any country and they have this app I don’t recommend anyone to use it

The best word to describe hungerstation is "scam" I made order in May this year, the driver claimed he came, called me and I did not pick call. Left with the order and till today, not delivered and no refund. I have contacted hungerstation via email but not positive response till this moment..... Only a scammer can do that

Horrible delivery and customer service.
I had order a pizza from dominos and i received the carton literally opened and ripped on side.
I went to customer service the second i received the order from the delivery guy and i raised the complaint literally first minute.
They said and i quote "I'll be frank with you, this does not warrant a complaint, we will tell the dominos branch about this issue" and he just freaking cuts off the chat!!.
Insane... how is this a service.

My Experience – Want a Tip?

A few friends recommended that I stop using this app, and after my own experiences, I understand why.

I have placed many orders through this app in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and unfortunately, my food has repeatedly been delivered very late. Despite this, the company still charges a delivery fee of around 11 SAR, plus a 2 SAR service fee, and sometimes additional charges depending on the order value.

I have contacted customer service many times through the in-app chat. On several occasions, I was told that if my order was delayed, I would receive 30 SAR compensation, but in my experience, this promise was not honoured. I found the responses inconsistent and very disappointing.

What frustrated me even more was that some customer service agents ended the chat before resolving my issue, leaving me without a proper solution.

After reading many other customer reviews, I realised I am not the only person who has experienced these problems. In my opinion, the service has not met the standard I expect from a delivery platform.

Because of my personal experience, I have decided to stop using this app. I have had much better experiences with Ninja and Jahez, and I personally find them more reliable.

If anyone would like to see screenshots of my conversations with customer service, I am happy to provide them as proof of my own experience.

Very disappointing. I hope the company improves its service and starts treating customers fairly.

One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. HungerStation charged me for an order that was cancelled and then made it nearly impossible to get the issue resolved. The most frustrating part is the complete lack of access to a real customer service representative. When a company takes your money by mistake, the least it can do is provide a human being to speak with, yet HungerStation hides behind automated replies and ineffective support channels.

The fact that customers can be charged for cancelled orders and then left chasing their own money is unacceptable. There seems to be no sense of accountability, urgency, or respect for customers. I wasted my time trying to find a solution and received no meaningful support.

A food delivery platform is only as good as its customer service when things go wrong, and HungerStation completely failed in that regard. Based on this experience, I have lost all confidence in the company and will be avoiding it in the future. I would not recommend this service to anyone who expects fair treatment, reliable support, or prompt resolution of billing issues.

I’ve ordered food multiple times over the last few months and the food never came. The driver has never called and I was waiting and the food for not delivered. Then the order was canceled and I didn’t get a refund. This is a very bad Customer experience.

Extremely disappointing experience. I placed an order that was never delivered. The driver repeatedly told me that traffic was heavy and eventually cancelled the order instead of completing the delivery. I contacted customer service multiple times seeking assistance and a resolution, but my issue was never properly addressed.

What is most frustrating is not just the failed delivery, but the complete lack of accountability and customer support afterward. Customers should not have to spend their time chasing updates, contacting drivers, and repeatedly following up with support for an order they never received.

I expected much better service. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend HungerStation until they improve both their delivery reliability and customer service.

They didn’t refund the money!!!
I did order from 2 items and one of this item out of stock the other item i was added just so i can replace the order, they refund the amygor the item out of stock but the other item didn’t refund it and I tried many times to chat with agent ( customer service) they didn’t answer or help me. They steal from

I pay for a premium and still get charged for delivery and fees. Poor customer service and delivery times, automated online support and will not compensate for cold food, missing items and late delivery. I do not recommend using this company

No wonder this company is rated worst. We ordered from Lulu Hyoermarket and delivery was late. As we need to go out of our location we were not able to get the items as ordered. And yet this company refused to cancel the payment in tamara citing it was the fault of the customer. Worst company ever in saudi arabia. I am just inquiring now of the correct government agency to file a formal complaint against this poor company. just wait...

I don’t understand what people is waiting in saudi land this company is scamming people’s with no refund, unreasonable cancellation, missing item we have to report them not only just in here

The order was marked as delivered but it was never delivered. Called immediately and they did not refund. The support team said was rude and said they cannot do anything.

Items missing from a very delayed delivery that were not refunded. Hours of waiting on customer service. Told them I'll escalate and report and they don't seem to care.

A missing item, one of the simplest issues to resolve. It went weeks without a proper solution. Instead of issuing a refund, I was told "it won't happen again" and the thread was closed. No refund, no accountability.

I will not be using HungerStation again and would not recommend it to anyone. If you can't handle basic customer service issues, you don't deserve customer loyalty.

There drivers are very rude and offensive when delivering your order. So I decided to cancel and delete my account.

It’s the worst service app and they are not trustworthy and they will never help or support you after receiving your money
