Ordered this product for a Christmas present thinking that it was from a UK address. It obviously was shipped from China. When it eventually arrived in January, the bear sounded like it was having an asthma attack and was a very inferior product. More alarmingly, we discovered that the bear did not have a CE safety mark. There was a CE lettering on the loose battery cover but no where else on the item does it show that it has been safety tested. To put an untested product that heats up in our daughter's bed is a horrifying thought.

I have been emailing the company to complain that they are selling a untested product and receive back obviously well rehearsed emails. They have offered me a 20% refund which I have not accepted.

We have passed this item to Trading Standards for them to investigate. I can't be bothered to argue with the company for a total refund and I am not prepared to send the item back to China at my own expense.

Please be very wary of this company - they are very unscrupulous.

Lovely and soft but the motor is very loud and sounds like it's snoring instead of a soft breathing ,very disappointed as would keep me awake more than sending me to sleep.

I had a terrible experience with Hugglys.com and would not recommend this company to anyone. First, their customer service is atrocious. I reached out multiple times about issues with my order, but their responses were slow, unhelpful, and dismissive. It became clear they have no interest in resolving customer concerns.

The quality of their products is abysmal. The item I received was cheaply made, nothing like what was advertised, and the breathing mechanism inside is unnatural and makes a loud sound, making it nearly unusable. The product was clearly poorly designed, with no quality control.

What’s worse, the product does not meet EU standards, raising serious safety concerns. When I requested a refund, they initially offered me a 20% refund, then 30%, and eventually 50%, all while I am entitled to a 100% refund since the item is defective. On top of that, they expect me to pay to return the item to China, which is completely unreasonable for a product sold in the EU.

As if that wasn't enough, their response to my frustration was to suggest I could “keep the order, give it to someone as a gift, or donate it to a charity shop.” Why would I pass on a defective item to someone else? This shows how little they care about their products or their customers.

Now, I’m forced to go through my bank to try to get a refund, which is an absolute hassle. I’ve lost all trust in Hugglys.com. Their poor customer service, subpar products, and unethical practices make them a company to avoid at all costs.

AVOID scam company, clearly states FREE returns within 60 days on the front page of their website, asked to return as this soothing bear is like something from a horror film, and got given a return address in `china to return to at my own expenses!!!

Been arguing with them back and forth for weeks now, save yourself the hassle and buy elsewhere.

AVOID!! I ordered two items as Xmas gifts and on boxing day the moving chest and light function stopped working. I raised this straightaway and provided videos as proof. Refused to refund only offering 30% refund. Have now raised a dispute with my bank to recover the money. Shocking customer service.

These are cute BUT there is no comforting sounds. The breathing is creepy, per my grandson. Would have tried to return but they were given as gifts prior to opening/operating.

The quality of the product is really poor. I was not satisfied and asked for a refund. The return policy on their website failed to state that the return address is in China although the company's business address is in UK and the item was posted to me from the UK. Initially they offered me a 20% refund and then a 60% refund after much back and forth. But I threatened to contact my credit card issuer and they finally offered me a full refund.

Avoid this company!

Don’t do it! You order online but have to download shoplify to track parcel. Customer service email bounced back as undeliverable. Website is suspiciously similar to Huggables/sleep ottter. Hugglys company shows as dissolved in October 2024 on companies hs gov website

Scam company selling an inferior product than they advertise
If you have purchased, contact your bank immediately, you will be refunded as these guys are scammers. Also share far and wide so they don't get away with it any longer!

Such a scam. Rubbish product for the price! So loud and unnatural sounding my daughter hates the noise. Would not recommend. Avoid avoid avoid

Terrible quality product and not safe. Communication with the seller is very poor also. After many many emails back and forth trying to find out a UK return address and being offered silly refund offers like 20% then 30% to still keep the items. I eventually got given a China address to return the items or a 70% refund. So I settled for the 70% refund just to put and end to all the hassle. So all in all a terrible company offering terrible quality items and poor service. Stressful experience and still out of pocket by £12. Don't waste your time and money like I did.

Absolutely avoid at all costs! China based company. Does not uphold UK Trading laws! Product was defective. Refused to provide returns info straight away. Took at least 5 attempts. Eventually they gave an address in China or I could have 50% refund. I accepted the 50% refund and they then BLOCKED ME and didn't give the refund! Now stuck with defective PRODUCT.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Took ages to arrive, and once they did at first I didn't think they looked too bad at all. But once I put batteries in and pressed the foot to go through the different options I was very disappointed. The sounds are so loud. The breathing is unnatural and off putting. The kids didn't like it. Definitely not how it is advertised!!
And as a safety fault for the little ones they are able to open the velcro and play with the battery compartment and wiring! After several emails over two weeks they offered 20% refund, then 30% refund. I was getting no where so disputed with the bank who refunded the money and following it up with the company.
Oh and I read these reviews after I bought it (regretting my purchases straight away) so emailed swiftly to stop the shipment. Suddenly the tracking service went from not shipped to shipped!!

The item is faulty and they are refusing to send a full refund. Have offered me 20% of what I paid. They seem to have one woman named Louise who is sending the emails. Don’t buy from them….clearly not a UK company as stated in their website. Misleading customers. Absolutely disgraceful.

My order arrived earlier this week. Put batteries in and the sounds are so loud and unnatural it’s going to keep you awake. As mentioned in other reviews it’s also not cuddly due to the large battery pack. I contacted customer support who are clearly trying to avoid refunding me. They are refusing to send a returns address and are currently offering 20%. I wish I had seen these reviews as I wouldn’t have bothered. The returns policy says they can be returned but the customer would need to pay delivery. They won’t give me an address to return to. I will try to claim through my bank. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Teddy took weeks to arrive, it's not huggable as its a solid hard box, and it's so loud when you have the breathing part on the mechanism is terrible

Ordered based on reviews on site wish I'd have checked here. Didn't get a hugglys bag as advertised. Ordered the panda. Not cuddley at all as huge battery pack inside. Not 4 modes as stated snoring, snoring and light, breathing and light then terrible music function. Very cheap quality. I'm so disappointed and such cheap quality. The fur is dreadful. One very unhappy little girl 😭

Was so looking forward to seeing if these could help me sleep after the sudden death of my husband.

Unfortunately I ordered before the negative reviews came in but yes the quality is awful, there is no heartbeat sound and all you can hear is the horrible whirring sound of the motor. The lullaby is very loud and tinny. Material is very poor quality you can see holes in the fur when the light comes on. As for the realistic breathing …. Am absolutely disgusted and have requested full refund under their 60 day free return policy but given the other reviews will be contacting my bank in the morning.
