Over the past few months, we experienced a significantly higher volume of orders than anticipated while also navigating a serious family health situation involving my wife's chemotherapy treatments. During that time, production timelines unfortunately increased as orders moved through the infusion and bottling process.

Unlike warehouse-style fulfillment companies, many of our infused honeys are handcrafted in small batches and require proper infusion time before bottling. While this resulted in longer fulfillment times than anyone would have preferred, maintaining the quality and freshness of the honey remained our highest priority.

We also consistently communicated updates regarding production timelines and delays through our website, Facebook page, and weekly production emails. Due to the unusually high volume of emails received during this period, we repeatedly encouraged customers to call us directly, as phone support became the fastest and most reliable way to receive assistance and order updates.

While we understand your frustration with the delay, we respectfully disagree with the characterization that customers were intentionally deceived. Orders continued moving through production throughout this period, and customers always had the option to request assistance or a refund if the timeline no longer worked for them.

90 days since I paid for my order and NOTHING sent.

I ordered and paid for my order on 3-3-2026. I received an email on 5-13-26 saying that March orders were being sent out and April orders being readied. I've emailed customer service twice and nothing and it's now 90 days since I ordered and no word, nothing. My order should have been sent by now since tomorrow is June 1st & my order was on March 3rd.

I ordered several samples on March 12

I ordered several sample sizes on March 12 from Huckle Bee Farms and still have not received my order. I emailed them once and got no reply. I called twice and actually got a person. This last time I was told my order would go out last week or this week but I have received no confirmation that it has been shipped. I called again today at 2:30 and the phone message says they are closed even though the hours are til 5. What is going on? I ordered from them because I like to support small companies but this is absolutely ridiculous. They already billed me. If you are short on staff because of an illness then hire someone to help. I recently saw many flavors of their honey at the Root Candle shop in Medina, Ohio so they are legitimate. Had I known I could get their honey at Root I would have done that or ordered from someone else like Savannah Bee. Your customers are not happy. I hope they throw in some freebies for those of us who are waiting months to get orders. I have been waiting 2.5 months. If they want repeat customers they need to do something.

We do respectfully disagree with the suggestion that hiring additional help was not being addressed. During this period we actively expanded support and production staffing while continuing to work through the backlog.

Most importantly, your order was not forgotten. It remained in production and was moving through the fulfillment process.

I placed an order in February

I placed an order in February. Didn't hear a thing. Waited, then got an email that the honey was delayed. Ok cool. How long? No response. In the meantime I am being bombarded several times a week with emails. Asking me how did I like the honey. They have this sale and that sale and a tasty flavor to try. Did I want to order more, honey. NO!! I wanted my original order. I called and a very rude person said " well we had someone out sick" at this point I said there was little to NO communication. Your customer service and support is literally non existent. I'm the bad guy because you failed? Huh? They then canceled my order. ( Didn't tell me) So I emailed and received a very rude response back and that I should check with my bank. I did and it was refunded. 3 months after my order. This looks like a recurring theme with them. HORRIBLE customer service and blaming customers for being upset with their failures and poor communication. I'd like to add STOP sending me crap via USPS to order more of your invisible honey. Do not to business with them. There are plenty of other reputable honey places out there who can fulfill your order and don't talk crap to you and communicate with their customers. Also I dont remember the date I called but the review makes you pick a date. So I picked april fool's day. 🤣

Two and a half months and product still hasn't shipped

I placed my order on 3/1/2026, it is now 5/21/2026 and my order still hasn't even shipped. It's been difficult to get responses from customer service. Website says there are delays in shipping and that it is taking 30-40 days instead of the usual 20, but it's been 80+ days, 2 1/2 months and still no shipment.

Sad and disappointed

I, like many of the other folks leaving reviews, placed an order on March 17th and have still not received my order. Today is May 21st. The website shows it's still in the "infusing" process. I only ordered sample sizes so this seems odd that it's taking so long. I emailed them and have received NO response. There is very little communication from the company regarding the delay - all I get is that once it's shipped, I'll receive an email with tracking info. I am starting to wonder if this is a legit company. Sadly, I don't think I'll be ordering from them again, as I can get good honey locally.

Peach honey disappointment

I placed my order on 3/3/2026 and didn't receive it until 5/16/2026. I waited 2 1/2 months with zero response from customer service on any of my inquiries and then when it finally gets here it's just regular honey, I ordered peach!!! To say I was and still am disappointed is an understatement. I ordered from them because they advertised a veteran owned small business in my home state of Pennsylvania. I could have got locally sourced regular honey from my grocery store for a lot less money...
In response to your explanation, your "delayed" response comment is hilarious considering they were nonexistent, at least in my case and your assumption that the other vendors I DID get peach flavored honey from were infused with artificial flavoring is insulting to them considering you have no idea who the other vendors were but rest assured I will let both of them know what you're accusing them of with absolutely no proof/evidence of such...

Regarding the honey itself, Peach Honey is an infused honey, not an artificially flavored product. Our infusions are intentionally crafted to complement the natural flavor of honey rather than overpower it. As with coffee, tea, wine, or honey itself, flavor perception can vary greatly from person to person. Many customers enjoy the subtle peach notes, while others may prefer stronger flavor profiles such as Pineapple, Cinnamon, Bourbon, or Habanero.

We are proud to be a veteran-owned Pennsylvania family farm, and we certainly regret that your experience did not reflect the standard we strive to provide.

Over 2 Months Later and Still No Shipment

I was looking forward to trying their products, but this has been a very frustrating experience. I placed my order on March 4, and as of May 20, it still has not shipped. The website continues to show the order as being in the infusing process.

I reached out through Instagram Business Chat and received a response on May 3 saying, Bottling your honey this week and shipping it out. More than two weeks later, there has still been no shipping update or tracking information.

I have also emailed the company and received no response. At this point, the lack of communication and ongoing delays make the business feel unreliable. If you are experiencing the same issue, you may want to contact your credit card provider about a chargeback.

I still haven’t received my order

I still haven’t received my order that I placed on March 8th … they do not accept phone calls you are put on hold and no gets back to you… my order has not even been acknowledged just a response saying it’s almost done infusing which has been at least a month if not longer…never again

I just read the other reviews on this site and it seems to be the same story! No delivery 2-3 months after ordering. I wanted the product for my daughter’s birthday but that has long passed. I’ve asked for a refund and a response to that. Buyers be aware!

Do not give this company your money

We work with hundreds of American makers through My American Goods, and unfortunately Huckle Bee Farms has been by far the most difficult vendor experience we've encountered.

Orders went unfulfilled for over two months with extremely limited communication, leaving us to manage frustrated customers, refunds, and growing chargeback risk entirely on our side.

We were initially understanding and patient regarding the owner's family health situation. However, while severe fulfillment backlogs remained unresolved, the company publicly announced expansion efforts and construction of a larger facility. From a retail partner perspective, this was difficult to understand while customers with 60-90 day old orders were still waiting for fulfillment or updates.

At one point, customers who placed orders nearly 3 months prior were still without clear answers.

What was most disappointing was not simply the delays themselves, but the lack of proactive communication and accountability toward both customers and business partners, and when there was any communication it was rude, vague and condescending.

We ultimately refunded multiple customers out of pocket because protecting customer trust mattered more to us than protecting margins.

With over 200 maker relationships, we understand that delays and operational issues can happen. What matters is transparency, communication, and respect for the customer experience. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

During that period, production timelines increased significantly as orders moved through our small-batch infusion and bottling process.

We also believe it is important to clarify that the facility expansion and honey barn construction referenced in this review were not projects that took resources away from customer orders. Quite the opposite. Those investments were made specifically to increase production capacity and help prevent future backlogs. Delaying growth would not have solved the underlying capacity issues that created the delays.

We also respectfully disagree with the characterization that there was little communication or accountability. Throughout this period, production updates were posted regularly on our website, Facebook page, and through weekly customer emails. Refunds were processed when requested, and orders continued moving through production every day.

As a retail partner working with hundreds of makers, we would have hoped for the same understanding and professional courtesy that small businesses often extend to one another during extraordinary circumstances. While we certainly understand the frustration caused by delays, publicly encouraging customers not to support a small family business that was actively working through both operational and personal challenges was disappointing.

Most importantly, Huckle Bee Farms is not a warehouse fulfillment operation. Our products are handcrafted in small batches, and quality has always remained our highest priority, even when that came at the expense of speed.

We acknowledge that the delays did not meet anyone's expectations, including our own. We regret the frustration experienced by customers and partners alike, and we remain committed to serving our customers with the quality products that have built our business over the years.

This company is Horrible-- 2 months, nothing shipped

This company is Horrible! they do not respond to email or contact through the website at all! And when you call, you get put on hold for a while before they will talk to you. Finally, after 2 months of waiting, with nothing but sob stories and emails asking for patience, I had enough and asked for a refund, which they say is processed, and were very short when talking, saying things like "we fell behind because 1/2 the company was in the hospital". Not the customers problem. If you cannot meet deadlines, quit taking orders until you can fulfill the orders that are bought and paid for! Instead they are on heavy rotation on Facebook! bragging about expansions and new barns

I ordered 3/17 and 3/27 to 3 orders =6…

I ordered 3/17 and 3/27 to 3 orders =6 honeys. 5/12/26 I have received nothing yet and contacted them with 000 response. I always have to comment on the Facebook page. I will not order again 😤 and I may never receive these 2 orders that I ordered in March! Poor communication and no customer service 😢! They take your money but don't get the products! That's a bad business in my book!

I ordered the sample pack of honey

I ordered the sample pack of honey the beginning of March and from the information provided on the website, my order should have arrived around the beginning of April. I ordered this honey as a birthday gift for a dear friend of mine. I was sent a message that they were running behind so I told my friend about the delay and we both decided it would be fine to celebrate her birthday a little later. The progress on my order is showing that it's in the infusion phase where it's been this entire time. I just sent a message to the owner and told him if my order isn't shipped within the next week, I want a refund. I understand unforeseen circumstances, family illness, etc. can pop up at any time but a business should prepare for and have a back up plan if and when these circumstances arise. The update letters assuring orders are close to being shipped are of no help! I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company! I will obviously not be returning to this company to purchase any of their products in the future and won't be recommending them to anyone I know. Buyer beware as the saying goes!

Buyer beware does not deliver

Buyer beware this is engaging in fraudulent business practice by taking orders saying a few days to 3 weeks and then telling you that you have to call. Trust me the owner will email when you call them out on social media, he will also say he is disabled and note his wife's cancer. Yes sad but I'm also a disabled Veteran with cancer this is not a valid excuse to take my money and not send my order after SEVEN week. If they cannot make the honey limit the varieties or stop taking orders. He is a FRAUD and I will be filing a complaint here in OH and one in his home state. Please need to help hold him accountable. Write to your Attorney general and let them know as the BBB cannot do anything. He needs to lose his business license or at least be investigate for fraudulent business practice. Wake up Mr Jim Douglas you have done wrong to this customer!!!!
