It wasn’t a great experience it’s overpriced and they make you pay so much for a mat and towel that you have to use inside the sauna you can only go at certain times for classes so it would be wasting my time waiting to go to a time and you have to pay $100 to cancel and I was there for one month didn’t enjoy it and went twice they shouldn’t make you pay that much to cancel if it wasn’t working out at all and we had a problem where other locations wouldn’t let us in and we paid for the exclusive pass

Signing up was such a big mistake. I really hope I can just cancel my membership and forget all about this.

First of all, staff did not inform me of some very key details when trying to rush me through the sign up process. Of course they didn’t, because I never would have gotten a membership if I had known.

1. you MUST use their mats and towels and pay $180 for them after you’ve already signed up. or you can rent them for $5 each visit. why would I pay a membership just to continue paying to actually use it? ridiculous.

2. You are stuck in the membership for 6 MONTHS unless you want to pay over $100 for a cancellation fee. That’s an insane commitment that also was, of course, not explained to me at all.

3. They will seriously harass you. I have gotten endless calls, texts, and voicemails so I eventually blocked the numbers. One of the employees proceeded to call me on her PERSONAL CELL!!! Insane!

4. workouts are not that great and the place always smells terrible

The concept of Hotworx infrared sauna is wonderful. I truly wish I could continue my membership since it is near my home and very convenient.
Due to the deeply alarming, aggressive behavior of an employee, I have requested cancelation of my membership.

The employee cornered and aggressively confronted me on two separate occasions—the last of which was so hostile and threatening that I was left shaken and forced to flee the building after she refused to stop pursuing me when I explicitly asked to be left alone.

Most terrifyingly, after our first encounter, the staff member used her employee credentials to access my private membership file, extracting my personal contact information to target me outside of work. Knowing that someone this volatile has unrestricted access to my personal data and address makes me feel profoundly unsafe and violated.

To be clear: I love Hotworx, but I cannot and will not risk my personal safety to work out.

I am genuinely shaken by this experience and disheartened that a brand I love is being represented by someone who poses a legitimate threat to paying members. The franchise owner has neither responded to my email requests or acknowledged the incident.

Future members beware. Safety and the privacy of customer information must come first. The team should reflect the MVV of the brand.

They are a SCAM!! Member for 7 days in. 1) small tv class not actual class 2) very limited equipment in a cramp space 3) not infrared lighting. When you sign up they tell you that they are having a discounted special membership fee of $69. + tax instead if $106. plus the monthly fees of $40.- Note: Looked it up, the membership fee is $69.~ They don’t explain or give you details about the membership. They tell you to sign the documents on their lap not giving you time to read the documents. The documents locks you into a mandatory membership for 6 months. They don’t tell that if you’re not happy with the facility and very limited equipment there’s a $99.+ tax fee.

I absolutely love HOTWORX! This place has completely changed the way I work out. The infrared sauna workouts are such a game changer—efficient, energizing, and honestly something I look forward to every time.
What really sets this location apart, though, is the customer service. The staff is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your experience and results. They take the time to answer questions, make you feel comfortable, and create a positive, encouraging environment every time you walk in.
The studio is always clean, well-maintained, and easy to access, which makes it so convenient to stay consistent. If you’re looking for a workout that’s effective, unique, and supported by an amazing team, I can’t recommend HOTWORX Cornelius enough!

Have tried canceling for a year!!!! They require you to go in person to cancel and there is never anyone staffing either of the 2 locations close to me. I've called local and corporate numbers that don't even allow you to leave a message! Literally the worst.

They do not explain the membership well. Then they say you signed up for 6 months... :-(

When I tried to get out, I had to pay a cancellation fee of $99... They never told me that. And I was only there for less than 1 month. This was the most EXPENSIVE membership ever...

I tried everything to alleviate the pain in my foot caused by plantar fasciitis, which I had been dealing with for two years before discovering Hotworx in Chandler, AZ. A lady at the facility, who had a friend specializing in foot issues, suggested that the workouts there could help.i was grateful for the recommendation. Although I never visited her friend, I started working out in the sauna for about two weeks and began noticing a difference. After two months, the pain was completely gone. I am now experimenting with vibration plates and incorporating these workouts after to assist with my knees. It has been two weeks, and I am now able to do goblet squats without pain, something I hadn't been able to do for three years. Although there is still some cracking, I have made significant progress in my fitness journey and can now enjoy my old workouts without the pain that had plagued me for years.

Terrible experience! Tried to get a tour and there wasn’t available parking. Called and got no answer. Texted and received no response.

SCAMMERS! I signed up at the Oxford, Mississippi location on a Cyber Monday deal for enrollment for ~$5 only to have them immediately run a $79 charge through for membership! When I contacted the location, they refused to resolve anything, and told me that was their policy, and it would cost an additional $99 to get out of my
'contract'!! I blocked the merchant at my bank, am contacting the Better Business Bureau, and am writing this review to warn every individual in the fitness industry (which I am a part of) to stay away from Hotworx!

I would like to share my experience at HOTWORX across from dadeland mall. This place is amazing. I became a member about 3 months ago. It was great then because of the infrared sauna and great virtual workouts., however, it has exceeded my expectations under new management. This place is extremely hygienic and clean. The new owner has also state of the art cable machine in addition to the infrared saunas. Also, the girl who is in the front desk Amanda is with out doubt so great with making sure that you have an amazing experience. The other young girl is charming, sweet and so knowledgeable. This place is without doubt the place to be for toning, Pilates,yoga, and a host of additional classes. Try it out. You will feel so de stressed and relaxed. Also, the membership is extremely fair. Nothing too crazy for the experience you will receive.
