Our couch is wonderful. Sturdy yet cozy. We had a bit of a hiccup with delivery. Two people definitely required for assembly. Would recommend white glove delivery and set up if that’s an option.

Fabulous quality and customer service
Our son and daughter-in-law ordered their sofa from Home Reserve. They have 3 small children and entertain a lot of families with small children. After 5 years of their white sofa looking fabulous and still feeling firm I started to wonder about it. It wasn't long before we ordered our sofa from Home Reserve. We too entertain, but older friends. We could not be more pleased. People can get easily in and out of the sofa, people with achy backs do not request to sit in a hard chair as the sofa provides comfortable support. The sofa is very comfortable. If this is your style of furniture you can't go wrong. In addition, I love supporting a business in the States. If you are not handy with assembly I would encourage you to invite over someone who can help you assemble the furniture.

Too tall for me!
The delivery was fast, assembly was easy and materials are all very good. However, while the seat height measurement on the website is 18 inches, in real life it is more like 19-20 inches. Meaning, my feet don't touch the floor when I'm sitting all the way back on the seat.

Ordered the Inserts
I ordered the inserts for the pieces after we got our sectional put together. They are nicely made and I'm happy to have the extra storage. We're going to order another wide armless unit to make our sectional just the right size! Everything is very comfortable and looks very nice in our living room. Very happy customer!

I have 2 of the Home Reserve sectionals. One is at our beach house which we rent as a short term rental and the other one is at our main house. My children are grown but my grand kids come over a lot. 4 of the kids are 4 and under and one is 16. We live and work on a farm so there is always dirt and sweat. I love the the ease of washing and and being able to change the covers especially in my 2 different situations. They are sturdy and well made.

Sofa is low quality for the price
Sofa is low quality for the price . Cushions are uneven, it looks cheap, they are not comfortable. cheap plywood that barely fits together correctly. Beware any company that does not allow customer reviews, but has tons of paid influencers.

Prompt, Helpful Service and Great Quality Products
I needed to order replacements for items my dog had chewed. When I reached out to ask about a cushion cover and explained that I didn't have previous order history due to losing access to an old email account, the customer service rep went above and beyond to confirm my previous order info. She confirmed the cover style and color I needed. She even asked if I needed a cushion, which I'd forgotten to mention. Her attention to detail saved me from having to place a second order. Could not be happier! Everything from my first experience when ordering my modular units from home reserve and their patience with all the customizations I wanted; to having to order a replacement cover five years later. I was worried when I saw that the fabric I originally selected was discontinued until I was informed they did have a limited stock of that discontinued fabric available. Enough for the replacement cover I needed. And they moved it up in the production queue to make sure the fabric was still available. So I received the replacement cover much sooner than I expected. The quality of the product and the quality of their customer service are outstanding! Thank you, Home Reserve!

Great customer care
We recently replaced our sofa covers. Home Reserve sent great fabric samples to narrow down our decision and customer service was fantastic. I wanted to make sure we were ordering the correct sizes & styles and a representative reached out right away to ensure the correct order was placed. New covers-same sofa-great product! I love this couch
I love this couch. It's cozy, the material is great and very easy to keep clean. Building the whole thing was fine but I had a bit of a problem getting the right pieces, sent so it sat halfway built for a while. That being said the customer service was excellent and they worked very hard and made it right as fast as possible.

A LOT to Consider Before Purchasing
I've thought long and hard about this review because, for my family, this was a large expenditure of $4,459.76. I also wanted to have enough time to live with it and give it a fair chance.
Before purchasing my sectional, I bought 13 (yes, you read that right!) fabric samples. I wanted to be positive I was getting not only the right color, but also the best fabric for my house, which includes two dogs. One pup sheds terribly.
I chose the Retriever fabric because I wanted something with that lush "velvet" feel, and it was also part of Home Reserve's pet-lovers fabric selection. I went so far as to take the swatch and rub it all over our shedding pup, and the fur did come off the sample fairly easily. That's a whole different story when you're talking about a large sectional. I simply had no idea how much care it would take.
Had I known then what I know now, I would have chosen a multi-toned fabric. This choice I made is in no way a criticism of Home Reserve. However, it would have been nice to have been warned about just how much care it takes to vacuum the dog hair off the sectional every single night.
I made an additional $100 purchase of the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser cordless vacuum (highly recommended if you purchase the Retriever fabric—you'll need it if your dog sheds, trust me!). The fabric does spot-clean with a simple damp cloth, which is a huge plus.
The sectional was shipped and delivered in a timely manner. My husband and I are in our early 70s, and we were able to put the large sectional together without any additional help.
Was it easy? Not at first. After the first two pieces, we had it down, but it still took us a few days to complete. Putting the fabric covers on was tough going at first. Then I found the videos on their website that showed exactly how to do the more difficult pieces, such as the corner unit and the arms.
The only problem was that locating the videos wasn't easy. I finally bookmarked them on my computer.
The storage is great to have. If I could have afforded it, I would have purchased the liners for the storage areas. The wood is rough—very rough—and needed some light sanding to keep splinters out of our hands.
Would I purchase this again? Probably not.
Even though I love what Home Reserve stands for, it is a LOT to deal with. You have to be ready to put in some work that includes lifting, sanding, putting it together, and then covering it all while spending a lot of time on your knees.
I did email the company asking how much it would cost if I were to replace the covers with a different fabric. That, after all, is one of the "perks" of the product. I've already spent over $4,500, so the thought of spending another $1,545.08 was simply beyond our budget.
I will admit that after the first night of having it completely assembled, I had major second thoughts and looked into the guarantee for returning it if I wasn't satisfied. It was then that I saw that orders over $4,000 are not returnable.
If you can imagine a large sectional that you've worked on for several days, fully assembled and in place in your living room, only to actually consider breaking it down and repackaging it in the original boxes, then you'll understand what I mean about being very sure about your purchase beforehand.
Buy the no-risk trial first to be certain.
It's a good product. There are issues and major considerations, so think long and hard. Ask ALL the questions—not just of the company, but of yourself—because this is an investment that isn't just monetary. It's also an investment of your time: putting it together, maintaining it, and, if you like a neat home, cleaning the entire sectional every single night.

Many customers have also had good success using a pet hair mitt or similar tool for routine hair removal, especially on fabrics with a softer, velvet-like feel.
We also appreciate your comments about assembly. Home Reserve furniture is ready-to-assemble, and while many customers find the process straightforward once they get going, we know a large sectional can still be a real time and energy investment. That is one of the reasons we offer the No-Risk Trial — it gives customers the chance to experience the assembly process, cushion feel, fabric fit, and overall style in their home before committing to a larger order. Your feedback about the assembly videos being helpful but not easy enough to find is especially helpful, and we’ll be sharing that with our team.
The storage is one of the features we love most, and the liners can be a great choice for customers who want a smoother, more finished surface inside the storage compartments. The frame is made from Oriented Strand Board, so the storage is designed to be functional first, but we understand that rough areas or splinters can be frustrating during assembly and use. We appreciate you mentioning that, along with the sanding and physical effort involved, because those are important considerations for customers to know upfront.
One of the benefits of Home Reserve is that covers can be replaced over time, whether for a style refresh, wear, pets, or a change in fabric preference. Because every order is made to order, and because fabric and foam cannot be reused once they have been in a customer’s home, larger orders over $4,000 are not returnable outside of the No-Risk Trial program.
That is also what our satisfaction guarantee is built around. The No-Risk Trial gives customers 60 days to try one armless unit at home before placing a larger order, so they can decide whether the assembly, comfort, fabric, and maintenance level are the right fit for their household.
