HomeCooks is built around one simple idea: you shouldn’t have to choose between food that tastes amazing and food that’s good for you.
That’s why we work with independent chefs and food businesses from across the UK to create a huge variety of meals inspired by authentic recipes, cultures and cuisines. It means flavour is never an afterthought, and neither is nutrition.
The result is healthy food you genuinely look forward to. High-protein, nutritionally balanced meals made with quality ingredients you’d recognise and ready in minutes.
With hundreds of dishes to choose from, eating well is easier, more varied and a lot more enjoyable.

The box arrived at 830pm at night and I think therein lies the issue ,the external box was soggy and damaged ,one of the internal packs had burst and one of the meals had leaked out .
The mushroom rendang rice was hard ,clumped together and inedible ,so much so I had to cook my daughter another meal .
The other meal was soggy ,the veg and chicken in the shawarma were watery and unpleasant .
The dishes are expensive for what they are ,disappointed.

Hi Mary,
Really sorry to hear about this, that’s not the experience we want anyone to have. A late delivery, a burst ice pack and a damaged box together is a courier handling issue we take seriously, and we’d really like to put it right.
Could you drop us a line at support@homecooks.app with your order number so we can refund the affected meals, look into what happened with the delivery, and raise it directly with the courier? We’ll also take a proper look at the two dishes you flagged with the chef partners.
Thanks for taking the time to let us know, and again, our apologies.

Delicious and convenient
Most of the meals are really delicious - so far I enjoyed the lamb tagine, parmigiana, butter paneer. Some dishes a bit dry, I will avoid chicken without much sauce going forward.

Begged for a review, so here's an honest one
Begged for a review, sent an email with a false title (insinuating complaints against the company, when it was really just marketing newletter)
Update: One star was harsh, service itself provides good food at expensive prices, one bad email doesn't change that

Hi Owen,
Sorry to hear our email didn't quite land as we'd hoped!
We like to have a bit of fun with our Sunday newsletters and do things a little differently. This week's email was a tongue-in-cheek series of fictional 'complaints' about our meals, intended to bring a bit of fun to everyone's inbox.
We weren't asking anyone to leave a review. The link simply took customers to their usual account page, as our Sunday emails always do, so they can easily make changes to their meals for the week ahead.
We're sorry this one missed the mark for you, but really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
Best,
The HomeCooks Team

Tasty home cooked food for those with limited time.
The food is genuinely tasty and prepared by local chefs rather than a big central factory. Good portions too. For example ths week i enjoyed the chicken tikka masala , rice and veg which had just the right amount of spice and was 5 minutes in the micro. And a beef and chorizo dish with patatas bravas and broccoli. Pretty healthy i would say and plenty of meat. (Veg dishes also). Delivery is brilliant in great packaging and, as has been said in other reviews, customer service unbeatable. Thoroughly recommended. Pete Hants

So much better than other food prep companies!
The quality of food from HomeCooks is a couple of levels above other companies I have tried. You can taste it, you can feel it in the texture and once you do you'll almost feel angry about the other places you tried first!
