I found HomeCert when I was looking for a qualified electrician to upgrade an out of date consumer unit in one of my properties. I have other electricians I've used in the past but i thought I'd give these guys a go as they had such good reviews. The service was very impressive and I will be using them for the rest of the maintain on my other properties. they are quick to reply, quick to book in and kept me informed at every stage of the job.

We (Chestertons) have been working with HomeCert for a while now to assist with arranging safety checks (such as EICR's and EPCs). They are always quick to respond and book in the work, they offer expert advice when needed and are are a delight to work with.

Knowledgable and easy to deal with. Starting with the enquiry to booking to work done and billing, all super straight forward and efficient.

The electrician was very knowledgable and helped identify what needed doing very quickly. I fancied myself as a pretty competent DIYer but when it comes to wiring in this case, I just couldn't figure it out. A quick look at the switch later, problem identified and soon smart devices and pendant light installed with TV cables chased behind the wall. Everything was checked in working order. Plus I learnt a few new tricks. Great job all round.

HomeCert replaced my consumer unit. The job was carried out quickly and efficiently. The electrician arrived on time, was very friendly, and resolved the issues we found as he went along. The documentation needed was sent through shortly after completing the work. Overall very happy!

HomeCert have carried out various pieces of work of varying complexity for us, achieving great results at a very fair price with minimum disturbance and maximum professionalism. Without exception the staff have been prompt, courteous and knowledgeable, devising creative solutions where necessary (fitting two long fuseboxes into one short space, for example), working efficiently around a busy household, and leaving each site clean and tidy. I would (and indeed do) highly recommend Homecert.

Needed an expert electrician to find out why we were getting tingly shocks from the appliances in our new kitchen installation.
He systematically traced the route of the hidden wiring, isolated the faults, cut into the problem areas, repaired a socket and rewired another section. Phew, what a relief. Good job and many thanks

HomeCert have conducted multiple works at my property including installing a NEST control for heating; installing a new RCD and conducting other works such as replacing an extractor fan. The staff are always knowledgeable, timely, polite, tidy - and honest! HomeCert is responsive and definitely a contact to save to your list.

Had an emergency with wiring and lost power to hot water. They came within a few hours and fixed no troubles. Very happy will use next time.
