Affordable insurance for our age and needs

The young man on the phone did well as he was in training so he was incredibly slow and he had a really strong accent so I had trouble understanding and had to ask him to repeat himself often

I can see the agent you spoke to is new to the team and therefore it can take them longer to go through the process whilst they are still leaning. I am confident this will improve with time and experience.
Holidaysafe does have both a UK and an Internationally based call centre, both trained to the same standard. It is appreciated there may be some apprehension when dealing with an internationally based team but I would like to assure you both teams are equipped to deliver the same level of service.

Easy choice
After many on-line searches I eventually found Holiday Safe. Very easy to get a quote and very favourable pricing. Of course I hope that I never have to use them, but isn't that what insurance is all about.

Absolutely unusable website
I have used them before and they were excellent... this time I tried FIVE TIMES to get an online quote. Each time it either:
Wouldnt allow me to correct an incorrect answer
Would allow me but then locked up
Didnt let me add fellow traveller medical details (despite showing on query
gave a policy without fellow traveller ...
Appears to have very 'bug ridden' coding....
Definitely a retrograde step from last years experience..

Renewal of travel insurance
I requested a telephone call and was given a 2 hour window. I was telephoned well within that period and a very helpful lady talked me through renewing my policy which I decided to do.

Completed but a long winded experience.
The person dealing with my experience was pleasant and helpful. It takes a long time to go through everything which can be a bit frustrating and time conduming!
The seemed very exoensive to start with but eventually managed to get it down a bit.
