I signed a 6-month lease with this company. From the beginning, they charged multiple fees: an introduction fee, a 3% fee on each monthly rent, and an additional $250 fee for a cleaning service less than three times per months.

After only three months, they informed us that we had to leave the apartment without providing any reason. They offered no compensation and no attempt to find a solution.

Even worse, when we tried to leave earlier after being told we had to move out, they did not allow it—even though they were the ones terminating the agreement.

This situation has been extremely frustrating and costly for us. Based on this experience, I strongly advise people to be very cautious when dealing with this company.

I paid an expensive subscription fee to access a 6-month lease. After only 2 months, ALL TENANTS ARE BEING ASKED TO VACATE because the master lease was lost. NO REAL SOLUTION WAS PROVIDED - No compensation, no reasonable alternative, and no assistance have been offered. We are just out.

The booking experience was very smooth. The appartement at Sutton is very well located. Very clean. When I arrived, everything was ready for my arrival and everything was clean. The rooms are furnished which makes also the whole process very efficient. It’s very good for students and interns. Many thanks to Alexandra for the listings, the room, and her availability. Beware, beware, beware. AYA hides deep in their pages of the lease that they will charge outrages fees if you don't give them 60 days notice for leaving. They charged over $3,300 when we gave them 55 days notice. Their management said they would only charge for the 5 days shy of the 60 days. They hid the truth.

One thing to keep in mind is that AYA requires a guarantor for all international tenants, no matter the income level - this is something I hadn’t encountered with similar companies before.
