From the initial consultation and choosing the right ring for my partner, through to the ring-making process and collecting the ring, I couldn't have been happier with the service throughout. It was clear from the outset that Paul was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about diamonds/rings, which was invaluable in steering me to find the perfect ring. When i first turned up to the shop, I was quite demanding as I needed the ring to be ready within 3 weeks before going on holiday with my partner where I planned to propose. Paul assured me that the ring would be ready on time and he delivered on his promise. I have my wedding bands designed to suit my engagement ring. The finished product is more than I could’ve hoped for and I constantly get compliments on it. Ring shopping can be overwhelming but Paul made it a breeze, we’re so grateful to have found them!

The experience with Harper Tait could not have been more positive. Upon contacting Harper Tait after browsing their website, I spoke with Paul on a video call to explain what I was looking for, price range etc. After our chat, I met Paul and he went to great lengths, spending over an hour explaining in great detail the process of selecting the right diamond, through the 4 C's, lab versus natural and so on. He then presented many variations of diamonds to me along with different ring designs. The entire process felt so personal which was so important for someone that really wasn't quite sure about what I was looking for at the start. We narrowed it down to 3 items, and I went away to think about it over the course of a few days. At no point did I feel pressured to decide, and as Paul said, it s a big decision and to take all the time to think and consider my options.
If you are in the process of looking for a ring and don't know where to start, I would at least advise you start with Paul. Great experience. As a side note, when I was moving toward a .96 versus .9 carot diamond, Paul made the point that there is almost indistinguishable difference between both and not worth the price increase. Another example of the quality service provided. Ill be back for wedding bands at a later date for sure. Thanks for everything Paul and George.

Fantastic service with Paul at Harper Tait he made choosing my own engagement (and our wedding rings) a lot of fun. We learnt a lot about stones along the way and I was able to try different carats, designs and shapes on my finger to know which was right - as it wasn't what I thought! The CAD design of the ring was such a great feature, along with the stunning photographs before we picked up the ring. I actually gasped when we saw it in real life. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Harper Tait last year and initially purchased an engagement ring of the highest quality. Paul Tait's guidance, knowledge and passion for diamonds was simply second to none! In a short space of time I had quickly learned so much from him and this really did help when choosing the perfect ring for my fiancée. The customer service here is unbelievable as well as the honesty in terms of pricing given it is not an inexpensive investment. It made complete sense to return here for my wedding bands and would absolutely recommend Harper Tait to anyone.

My fiancé and I had the absolute best experience at Harper Tait (for comparison, we had visited 7 other jewellery stores). We were looking for matching wedding rings and George gave us the best advice, support and expert opinion throughout the process. He explained everything we needed to know about the different metals, shapes, diamond options, etc and ensured we were comfortable with our chosen rings. He also assured us that we would get free resizing and polishing for life, and also engraved both our rings free of charge. Every time we visited the store, we were offered champagne, and the whole experience was really enjoyable every step of the way. As my engagement ring was from a different store and it was the wrong size, George quickly realised the importance of resizing my engagement ring to match my wedding one and even did it free of charge, which really impressed me. It's evident that both George and Paul care about the happiness and satisfaction of their clients and do everything in their power to offer the best possible experience. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for fine jewellery!
