Booked an oven clean and sent photos specifically outlining what I needed. This included the top of the oven which HandyCleaners said they could do. They quoted me a price and I double checked that included the top of the oven, which they said yes they could do.

When the cleaner came he did a great clean, but said he couldn't do the top of the oven.

I called to complain and paid a reduced price because of this, however if I'd known I could have got a MUCH cheaper price elsewhere for what I got, so it all felt a bit sneaky. Just watch out for them!

Carla was extremely helpful and the clean was immaculate. I highly recommend the company.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Hideous company with terrible service. over £200 for end of tenancy clean and almost nothing was even touched, never mind cleaned. Their customer service is also horrendous. Take your money elsewhere.

I booked an end of tenancy cleaning service on 6th of September, they came 1 hour late. One of the woman has broken one of our bookshelves (it's set of 3), no solutions yet until now. The man has scratched my brand new kitchen sink (it is just 1 day old) full of scratches on the surface of kitchen sink. Emailed and called the company many times, never reply.
They are cowboys, please never use them!

Booked for stair cleaning and upholstery. To be fair the guy who turned up did an ok job on the stairs and the sofa in terms of both looking cleaner. However, it took 2 days for the stairs to dry (not the 2 hours he said) and we couldn't sit on the sofa for 4 days as the cushions were soaked through. There was water everywhere. Either the machine wasn't working properly or the guy didn't know what he was doing, but the smell in the living room was horrendous. Located the smell to the rug in front of the sofa that had obviously had dirty water from the machine spilt on it. The rug was soaking too and I had to remove it completely. I complained by email and telephone and was told it would be escalated to head office. No one got back to me. I would not use again.

Do not use these cowboys. I used them for a deep clean before putting my house on the market. The "cleaners" that turned up had no idea what they were doing. Left my carpet smelly and stained, left marks all over the windows and freshly painted walls, destroyed the newly laid floor with too much water. I raised a complaint to be told the manager is away and it will be dealt with on their return... a month later after repeated chasing still nothing. Like I said do not use these cowboys.

Excellent service! Arrived on time, did a really thorough job and at a really reasonable price. I highly recommend.

Worst people. I scheduled an appointment 3 days before and on the day no one appeared. Called the number which they provided and it doesn’t work. Called customer service number. They said they’ll send in an hour. Waiting patiently and no one turns on. Then called customer again and they said the appointment was canceled 😡. Seriously.worst service ever. Never call them. Big fraud company.

Cleaner booked one week in advance and confirmed the day before but failed to show up. I had taken a day off work to be around. I don’t think they would have let me know had I not contacted them. They were disinterested and did not offer any solution or alternative (“We might be able to send someone next week”). Avoid.

Badly done. Poor complaint handling. Very bad experience overall. Paid for 3 floors. They barely cleaned 2. They've also ruined my countertop which will have to be sanded and refinished to a great expense. I've asked them to cover this but the information has been "passed to management" and we have not heard in months.
They also stole what little cleaning supplies that we had so we couldn't even finish the job for ourselves.

Decent job of cleaning. Very little attention to detail. Cleaned main parts fine. But many nooks and crannies were left untouched.
Communcation was difficult as they kept saying its impossible to clean in the corners and under radiators. Then when pushed on this, they would start cleaning those areas. It was a slog.

We booked Handy Cleaners for deep clean of a flat when it was empty before we moved in.

The job was not very good, pretty superficial and by no means a 'deep clean'. We were disappointed, they offered to return to have another go but by then we had moved in with all our stuff. No refund of any of the £200+ we had spent, and a poor attitude regarding our concerns.

They may be able to offer good regular cleaning, but it seems for a one-off job they will take your money and run!

Find someone else if your cleaning needs to be done right first time. Other reviews mention similar issues.

I read lots of good reviews about Handy Cleaners when I was looking for a deep clean of my new house, so booked them for the job to come at 9am on a Saturday.

The cleaners were two gents. They turned up 40 minutes late, though I did get a text from someone (after the booking start time) telling me this. They weren't very friendly and weren't interested in listening to specific requests I had for them to focus on, instead laughing and joking in a foreign language. However they did start cleaning as soon as they arrived.

We left them them to it, coming back a few hours later. They were finished and packed up when we returned. I did a quick walkthrough and on the surface everything looked ok. They'd done the basic jobs but I felt pressured to let them get off as they were waiting by their car.

However after they'd gone and in the preceding days we noticed lots of bits missed. For example a big stain on the kitchen floor, cobwebs in corners of rooms, some shelves and cupboards not wiped down, dirt down the side of appliances. There clearly hadn't been any attention to detail. I don't expect perfection but in a deep clean, I'd expect the little things to be done.

Ultimately the house was in a much better state than before and is now liveable, so I'm giving 3*s, but it could've been better and I probably could've got the same result if I'd just paid my much cheaper weekly cleaner to do the job.

Expensive and not very good.
We booked Handy Cleaners for an end of tenancy clean and we were very disappointed.
£250 for six hours of cleaning, with many things missed.

I had 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment that was in a really bad state. Thanks to the wonderful team for overall a very good cleaning of entire apartment. Really happy with the team, thanks guys 👍

I used this company for cleaning my rugs and the technician they sent was excellent. He did a great job, and my filthy rugs looked like new. He was on time and very polite. I would definitely use this company again.

This company were the cheapest of 3 quotes and gave an amazing service. Plamen went above and beyond, worked very hard (lots of cat hair to deal with) was very easy to deal with and the result was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
