The gyms are incredible- so spacious, loads of equipment, and I used to pay more than double the price for access to lesser gyms. I have the Signature membership and love the Blitz classes- I have lost so much weight in just a couple of months since joining these classes.

GymNation has really helped me be more productive. The staff are very approachable and friendly, especially the reception team. Laarni at the Reem branch was extremely kind and ready to assist me every step of the way. The equipment is complete, advanced, and always clean, which makes working out even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I’ve had such a great experience at GymNation! The facilities are clean, modern, and packed with all the equipment you could need. The staff are always friendly, approachable, and ready to help whenever you have a question. I also really enjoy the group classes—they’re fun, motivating, and make working out a lot more exciting. The best part is the value for money, it’s very affordable compared to other gyms in the UAE Definitely recommend GymNation to anyone who wants a welcoming environment to reach their fitness goals.

If you’re running a subscription-based business - then when the payment fails, the service should stop. Not silently continue and stack up unpaid invoices

In May 2025, I submitted a cancellation request for my wife’s GymNation membership. We received an email confirmation saying it was under review and would be processed in 48 hours.

No follow-up. No phone call. No message. No contact at all.

Several months later, I’m suddenly receiving legal threats, arbitrary payment deadlines, and pressure from someone claiming to be handling the case — while no one from GymNation has ever actually contacted me.

This is not how a modern company should behave. The whole situation is bizarre.

GymNation, if someone on your team is reading this — please contact me directly. I’ve tried to handle this respectfully, and I expect the same in return.

Disappointed with Customer Support and Lack of Empathy

I joined this gym with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. After just 3 months of membership, I lost my job and found myself in a very difficult financial and mental health situation.

When I reached out to cancel my membership, I expected at least some level of understanding. I explained my situation multiple times via email and calls. Every time, I was given the same response: “Your request is being processed, it will take 24–48 hours.” But no one ever followed up, and the issue was never resolved.

It feels like unless someone dies or is in a severe crisis, the gym doesn't consider any reason valid enough for cancellation. There seems to be zero empathy or flexibility, especially when someone is going through a genuine hardship.

I hope the management rethinks their policies and actually supports people instead of pushing them further into stress. A gym should promote well-being—not make things harder when life takes a difficult turn.

This is not gemination. This is scam, Centre.
I’m highly not recommend this scam centre to everyone.
Once you pay by card they will take our card access and they will not ask permission whether you are going gym or no, they will take the money from your account

Absolute Fraud. Never had a membership, Never ever stepped into any of its facilities. Now being send emails pursuing legal action for three years of subscriptions. I live in a completely different city in UAE. Apparently it was an e-contract someone had taken. Very rude, impolite customer service agents. Still waiting to hear from them after asking for their complaints procedure. Person claiming form legal even boasted that you wont be able to do anything to them, even if you pursued a complaint.

The worst gym I have ever joined in my life, from the poor treatment from the club management and employees, they are only thirsty for money and there is no customer service. I froze my membership because my doctor forbade me from exercising a month ago, until I was surprised the day before yesterday that I was being blackmailed by the Gymnasium management, as I received an email asking me to pay the monthly installment within 48 hours or they will sue me. This shocked me a lot, as I contacted the club and also some of the employees in the reception service, but my messages were ignored by the employees or the management. This is not the first time they have done this, as my brother was also mistreated by personal trainers. It is sad that a place like this was part of my daily life to change for the better and then it became for the worse.😓😣😣😣

I strongly advise against joining Gym Nation. They engage in unethical practices. I only attended for three days before discontinuing because they kept pushing for additional charges like personal training. I immediately emailed them to cancel my membership, but after two years they suddenly started demanding payments and trying to blackmail me. This is clearly a fraudulent approach. Please avoid joining Gym Nation don’t trust their false promises.

The gym facilities are good overall, but it often gets overcrowded, and tissues are not provided, which can be inconvenient.

After 3 years as a loyal member, GymNation has shown me exactly how little they care about their customers. I recently needed to cancel both mine and my wife’s memberships due to her being diagnosed with a serious health condition — we provided a medical note, and yet they refused to cancel hers.

They only regretfully canceled my membership after multiple back-and-forths, but still insisted on charging me an additional month even after I gave notice. There was no empathy, no flexibility, and no accountability.

Their policies are designed to trap you, not support you — even when life circumstances clearly justify cancellation. After this experience, I will never return, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Avoid GymNation.

Particularly unhappy with the treatment I got at reception. I've seen a few reviews saying the front desk is warm and friendly but I would challenge that to say that it's selective. I came in together with my partner and she greeted him " Good morning,sir!" warmly with a smile as we were redeeming our day pass. Once he was in, she simply stared at me with a look that felt like " What do YOU want?". I felt overlooked in stark contrast with the person I was with. All customers should be treated equally, as I paid the same amount as anyone. The gym is spacious and well equipped but also messy and well worn. Could be improved.

Will be great to have some swedish wood ladders in the tunnel ( Motor city) instead of metal on the wall.
Also water dispenser should be available for free.

If I can give them zero I would... bad customer service.. days trying to contact them to freeze my account this month but no answers and no one getting back to my not on WhatsApp or email!!!!
Even my sister is struggling with them she has hospital sick leave and they still won't cancel her contract.

If it was possible I'd give them 0, I joined the MegaMall branch just 4 days ago but since then am moving back to UK for rest and be with famiky due back injury so am unable to make use of the Gym.

They have no cooling off period, so provided them my flight tickets, they then wanted a visa cancellation paper.

Then wanted a doctor's letter for my injury, due to time constraints and flying tomorrow I maamged to get a last minute appointment and my prescription which shows my back issues and medication not that was also not good enough.

Their customer service responses are canned copy and paste messages and they have no real customer service or empathy for their customers.

I would not recommend anyone joining them after jy experience.

It was easier for me to cancel my UK membership by providing flight tickets then this with all the documents they want just to cancel a membership.

Its a joke.

Response to gymnation response, your reply is a lie I have not been able to cancel my membership at all even with your apparent membership cooling off period. I have proof in form of email for this.

I have been trying to cancel my gym membership due to my pregnancy. It has been very difficult to find someone to contact regarding this matter. When I finally reached out, I was assured that my membership would be canceled.

However, I have noticed that payments are still being withdrawn from my account. This is unauthorized and not legal, as I have already requested cancellation.

Please address this issue immediately and confirm the cancellation of my membership to avoid any further charges. I expect a prompt resolution.

I’ve had my GymNation membership since may 2024 and completed over a year with their mirdiff branch before I decided to cancel the membership in June 2025.
When I was at the branch I requested they cancel the membership through the reception and was told that it will be cancelled from the following month (July). But my July payment was processed but declined multiple times coz I’ve blocked them ,just incase an issue like this happened . After I got a call from a person called max saying there was no cancellation request that was entered in the system and to further pay the months fees along and it will be cancelled. As rude as he was I did not accept it as I was promised that were would be no extra charges as they were informed mid June. How ever after seeing that there is no one processing the cancellation and I later found out that cancellations are done online,the July payment was made just to get a text back from them to make the August payment before cancellation as the request was placed online two days ago. No one, either max or muhammed from the reception have made an attempt to cancel the request. Further if I do not make a payment there will be a collections team who will be in touch with me. I do not see why cancelling a gym membership is so difficult and why I need to make a two month payment for free without using their facilities just to cancel the plan .

In all honesty every time anyone has been in contact they have been extremely rude and unprofessional. Just a heads up to anyone who’s thinking of getting a membership there.
