Quick Delivery from GWE-No chance!
I placed an order with GWE on 5th December 2023 through their internet site for some urgently needed MIG welding tips. I chose GWE because their listing advertised !st. Class Postage and a delivery date of between 6th. and 7th. December. When the tips did not arrive by 8th. December I revisited their site and found they were now on holiday. On 13th December i got an e-mail advising that back orders would be dispatched commencing 16th. December and that new orders placed on that date should be received by 19th. December. As of the 4th. January my goods show as still awaiting dispatch! It would appear that if you have the nerve/temerity to question late delivery, despite paying a premium for 1st. Class Post, then the Company Principal will ensure your order take at least a month to materialise. This approach makes a complete nonsense of GWE's much vaunted claim of a quick turnaround of supplies. All in all a thoroughly unpleasant experience with a petulant Vendor.
