I bought a house that has Gutter Helmet - lifetime warranty. My local vendor is through Lednor Home Solutions. Super helpful at taking my money for the warranty transfer. However, they then did not show up for their scheduled inspection. I need a repair. I called and they rescheduled the inspection for a month later. Today was their second no-show. I even called a few weeks ago to verify the appointment. Today there was no show nor phone call. I called them several times trying to figure out what's going on and I had to leave multiple messages. I think the company is a scam!

Gutter helmet said that they would clean the gutters for free when I called them.They said I had to pay a fifty dollar dispatch fee first so that they could come out and clean the gutters.That is not free.It is very, very misleading, do not trust them.They are liars.

Mike and Will came out. They were here very quickly and did a terrific job. I can’t recommend them enough.

Gutter Helmut did not screw panels down all the way because they said they would "bow" in the summer heat. As a result I lost 3 panels during a storm with high winds. No other homes in my area had storm damage. Even though they admitted panels should have been screwed down tighter they did not cover my loss! I had to pay $800 to replace 3 lost panels. And this time they said they would screw panels down all the way! Company is crooked.

Maxx was the person who came out for the Gutter Helmet annual inspection and fixed a leak I had in my gutter. He also made an adjustment in the Gutter Helmet system which was contributing to the leak. He was very professional and fixed it in a timely manner.

Had to have them back to correct shoddy end caps after "pulling teeth" to get them there. One section was dented by falling apples but they refused to replace it under warranty. So I complained to the owner and told him I believed I shouldn't have to pay the balance. Never heard from them again.

I referred a 92 year old widow to them and the salesman said I would be eligible for a $300 referral bonus (which I was going to give to the widow )to be paid by the end of 2025. When that didn't happen, we were told it would be at the end of the January. When February was almost gone, I texted them and received a response that they weren't paying it since I had the outstanding balance.

ADDENDUM: After being f contacted by the company, thet agreed to drop the remainder of the bill and sent out Sam (1st class man!) to repair the dent and leave 2 factory end caps. I'm satisfied.

Gutter Helmet is an out-dated design that is guaranteed to fail. If that wasn't bad enough their lifetime warranty is a scam! They won't honor their own warranty nor will anything fix a flawed product. Once your gutters clog (and they will in time) you're faced with power washing your gutters with water to try to losen-up the clog or completely removing the Gutter Helmet product itself...worthless! The local owners of these franchises are even more incompetent than their scam product. I wouldn't recommend Gutter Helmet to my worst enemy. Save your time and money.

Because of the Gutter Helmut design, snow and ice in build up on top of the gutter which freezes and backs up into the shingles creating the worst ice dams ever. We have had this home for the past 5 years and invested $4k in extra insulation and the Gutter Helmuts only add to the problem. Do not buy Gutter Helmut.....the design is not conducive to MN winters.

I have it installed on two properties both have lots of trees
First property has pine needles while the second has maples both where installed over 15 years ago
Have never had any issues with clogging or maintenance
The product is fine i think most issues are from the installers side not the product itself

My wife and I purchased Gutter Helmet through Costco on 8/14/21 at a cost of $6125. Part of the sales pitch included an annual gutter cleaning. After the first year, our gutters were cleaned as promised. When I attempted to have the gutters cleaned after year two, I was told it would cost $150. Gutter Helmet also claims to have a lifetime performance warranty which guarantees the free flow of water without clogging. Our gutters are clogged. The nearest local dealer wants to charge $150 to clean our gutters. What good is a warranty that is never honored? Gutter Helmet is nothing but scam artists selling snake oil! Don't do it!!!

We got Gutter Helmet in November 2022 to avoid dealing with gutter maintenance, but sadly, pine needles still clog the gutters. To make things worse, the installer, Lednorhomes.com, won’t honor the warranty for cleaning and is trying to charge me at least $250 just to come out.

I bought this system in 2022 based on years in business, generally good reviews, and their warranty. The warranty states they will never clog. Well, they got clogged and when I called them for service, their dealer, Austin, who installed my system made excuses to not come out and then ignored me. I am not happy about getting up on a ladder to clean gutters when I paid nearly $6k for this not to happen.

We are completely satisfied with the installation of gutters with the Gutter Helmet of South West Florida. The installer was on time as promised, courteous and the job was done correctly. In previous years the gutters were installed incorrectly with another company and the company did not honor the Manufacturers warranty that should have been for lifetime.

I didn't want to risk failing, and I didn't want to employ anyone to get up on the roof and be liable for them falling. Gutter helmet works best.
