Groceries Asda Anmeldelser 

I had a online order delivered today, a bottle of vodka was delivered with the security tag attached. The driver was unable to remove it. This was for a party this evening. I contacted customer service and they were so unhelpful, wanted another bottle delivered today which they stated they couldn't do. I asked for it to be delivered without any delivery charge which they still couldn't help with.
What is the point in having customer service when they are unable to help.

Been ordering groceries to be delivered for a long time with no hassles.
I live in a block and have concierge

Groceries to be delivered between 7-8am
Normally goes without a hitch.
Today the driver is 6 minutes away and cancels the delivery.
Called Asda store and they said the driver could not gain access. I told them I'd been looking out the window and his van was not even outside.
Not sure how they employ someone who behaves this way.
Now I have to wait until 10am or after just to get an update if they can deliver my groceries later today as they would not instruct the driver to come back.
Don't think I'll use them again after this experience. There's a reason why I booked an early time slot and now I have to reschedule everything throughout the day and sit around twiddling my thumbs waiting on a call for a delivery that might not even happen.
Crap service and even crappier driver.

Asda online groceries are so far always at my home on time but it is really annoying that they don't provide items in bags and you have to rush every item by hand into the fridge and freezer before they melt; which they did last week. Another really irritating issue is that they always deliver my brandy with a security lock attached, no matter how many times I complain and send it back. I don't know where they get their pickers from but they obviouisly are not very bright. Looks like time to find an alternative supermarket, again!

This would be my very first online grocery shop. Foolishly I choose Asda Aintree Liverpool.
I paid a £5.delivery charge and was given a slot time of 11.30-12.30 Saturday 15th August. I received a text message driver would be late by 19 minutes another text late a further 25 minutes another text 29 minutes after 4 phone calls to their appalling abysmal customer service people l was persuaded to wait but ln but they failed delivery time x 4.
£66. In total my order was but eventually when driver came my order was missing bread, beer,potatoes, ribena, chocolate, etc etc.
I thought Asda was a "Supermarket " hahaha 😆 😂. Not a bad first lmpression for a customer !
I have since spoken to customer service complaints and filled their online complaint procedure and replied we will be lntouch with my refund and delivery charges. I have now cancelled my account and deleted Asda app .
Absolutely appalling abysmal service. I should have gone myself and shopped and got a taxi home.

Up until now deliveries have been great, always on time with friendly drivers. Today, however, that changed...we had booked out usual time and expected the grocery delivery to be straightforward. The hour passed with a notification that the driver was running late, fine not a problem, then the delivery arrived but the drive got to our gate, reversed his van back down the road and promptly cancelled our delivery.
I am a pensioner who has suffered an injury so cannot get out to do my own shopping and as such rely on a grocery delivery, so this was extremely annoying.
The driver did not leave the vehicle, did not ring the gate bell did not wait at all and his actions are all documented on our security cameras.
Not the customer service that was expected.

last two orders missing over 20 items then theres the subs, never seem to get what i orderd then when you put in for a refund for missing items on there website it rejects it everytime.....im done with these

Asda Aberdeen beach delivery is the worst!!
Won't deliver cases of juice as run out, but drive down and voila 100 cases available. Every second delivery has a van break down hahaha and don't get anything, any vouchers used don't get refunded it's a scam scam scam scam, eff Asda forever, hate Tesco but better than this shit!!!

Well I'm done with Asda online groceries. Twice I have ordered my shopping. Authorised it with my bank. Gone back to complete the transaction and my shopping has been deleted out of my basket. I had 3 authorisations in my bank from Asda. Rather a large shopping but when I went back to Asda, yet again it was deleted. No wonder your loosing customers. Your online groceries is absolutely rubbish.

Booked an online groceries to arrive between 12.30pm / 1.30pm on Sunday 9/8/26. Waited till 1.40pm rang customer services as my shopping had not arrived told that they are short of drivers and my shopping is now scheduled to be delivered around 5.45pm. Offered £5 e voucher which I think is an insult. Shopping finally arrived 5 half hour's late driver told me my shopping had been on the van all day. Tried on line to request various refunds for my meat etc request denied spoke to customer service to advise of this who said they would look into this.

Lamb steaks and a packet of 'fresh'? ...mint.
Absolutely disgusting!
The lamb steaks were full of sinew, not lean meat at all, the packet of 'fresh' mint was purchased on 2nd August (5 days within the sell by date) but the leaves were blackened by rot and the package contained way more stalks than leaves.
Repulsive!
I will definitely not be buying any kind of food stuffs from Asda again and I would advise the same to everybody...... they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

I have had a order from ASDA for the last three weeks I usually shop at Sainsbury's but thought I would try ASDA for a change and every week there has been a problem with the order the first week the wrong item was sent the second week out of 15 eggs six were smashed and the third week two of the ready meals were really close to the sell-by date and one of the magazines was out of date admittedly I have got a refund each time but that's not the point it's been an inconvenience I've had too then go out and rebuy the things that were wrong needless to say that's the last time I will be shopping online at ASDA

My wife and I stopped shopping at Asda some time ago for many reasons including poor customer service and the lack of till staff! Hate self service.
Gave Asda another go this week purely out of curiosity!
Most of our shopping ended up in the bin. The ready meals purchased were disgusting, full of salt and practically inedible. The lasagne at £6.50 was really awful. The Tikka masala ready meals also went in the bin. Quality overall was really awful. I don't now how Asda is getting away with this. Will never shop at Asda again.

On just eat i tried to order a delivery from asda.They said 45-55minutes the delivery.I waited 4 and half hours,still nothing.Somehow i cancelled it.They pay me back in 5 days,but 8 pound less.Absolute rubbis business with asda on just eat.Never again

Upwards of £20 worth of missing items, now trying to get a refund which isn't proving to be easy.
If they use 3rd party delivery drivers then at.peast male sure that customers are not being ripped off.

Basin is an employee at the asda express in Stanley Wakefield, he is a very polite friendly young man and most helpful, he offered without me having to ask him to take my parcels to my car, he went that extra mile thank you so very much D Dagg

Oncr again my delivery has been cancelled on the day of delivery with no explanation. I know there are sufficient funds in my bank. My husband and I are disabled so delivery is essential for us

I want to buy from Asda but they can't run their delivery service. Worse thing is when you speak to an Asda person to try and sort some mess they made the person is unhelpful and couldn't care less.

Placed online grocery delivery slot 7-8pm had email running late will be delivered shortly.
Well my delivery never came no further update no email or text now it’s 22.15pm no delivery I called customer service they said my delivery is on its way. I asked it’s 22.15pm is my delivery coming today or not? Yes.
Now it’s 23.30pm no groceries no update is it still coming or next day delivery what is it? Either way I will not shop at Asda online again what a disgrace. Now it’s the next day contacted customer service where is my order they said they did not have a driver for express delivery that was there excuse. I cancelled everything and asked for a refund. They need to be reported to watchdog for an investigation families and vulnerable people waiting on a service that has no intention on arriving .

We're housebound so we rely on delivery. Asda delivers on time, the delivery guys are very sweet, and we get most of what we order. Everything has a good sell-by/use-by date on it. We don't use substitutions anymore because those were a bit odd. Instead, we mostly have two small orders a week. This means it's easy to move inside and we always have fresh veg.

Happy with what I'd bought.

Literally chased down 2 streets away from the shop by their thug of a security guard on duty.

Grabbed me from behind & my bag of shopping out of my hand. Actually thought I was being robbed initially.

Said "I don't think so. You've just stolen that"
Literally started emptying the bag on to the pavement.
Told him it was all paid for. Luckily I'd printed the receipts.
(I prefer going through the tills with staff on, but there was only one open so had to use the self service)
He said "Show me!" I said here, there's 3 bits on card for myself & 5 other bits (ice lollies, sandwich paste and grapes are for someone else. They were cash.
His response to that was
"You haven't paid for one of them, look!"
I said I have, "there's 5 things, 2 ice lollies, 2 pastes & 1 grapes. 5 things!"
Literally counting things out on the receipt trying to prove my innocence. Once he'd established it was right, he said the "description's weird on that". (One of the ice lollies). I said "that's not my fault is it!"

Said "if I'd stolen anything I would've ran wouldn't I?! Not packed my things in a shopping bag and walked out!"

The girl that accused me of stealing also appeared, so chased down by two members of staff for £8.70 worth of paid for goods.

The thing that really p****d me off though was... No apology from either of them. Left what I'd brought on the pavement. Turned there backs and walked off.

Technically yes, he is doing his job, but it should have been dealt with so much better!
He could have just said "sorry to stop you, can I just check your receipt? There might have been a mistake at the checkout" I knew there wasn't because I don't take things without paying. Totally unnecessary.

No... Guns blazing. Said I was a thief before even checking the receipts properly.

Maybe they both need some more training on how to deal with situations like this better.

Plus if the person hovering around the self service section had actually been paying proper attention, she would have seen me scan everything and pay, instead of sending a security guard to chase me down.

Fair enough, if I'd had a trolley load of chocolate or meat & ignored the tills then yeah, suspicious, come on 49p sandwich paste and a tub of grapes.

Disgusting treatment if I'm honest!!!

I hope they both get a bit more than spoken to by their manager. It's really put me off going into Burton Asda again. Think I'll be taking my business elsewhere in future.

Awful to be made to feel like that!
