Edited version!!
KI've redone this post as trustpilot deemed my language as offensive (even though everything offensive was starred out).
It dates back to September 25.
I purchased some bagels from Asda New Ollerton, I purchased them on the 10th September and the best before date was the 8th September. But unfortunately for me I didn't realise this until i used them on the 11th September.
So they sell rubbish products but then
have the nerve to charge me full price.
I rang customer service twice and both times they promised me vouchers by email. TWICE THEY DIDN'T ARRIVE, so gave up trying!!
What sort of service was this
1- Sell me out of date product.
2- Charge me full price.
3-Customer service give me the brush off.
NOT VERY GOOD AT ALL ASDA!!
Still the same great service
I haven't made a review for a few months that's because I've had the same great service via home delivery in that time. I really appreciate the service I've had from my Halton (Runcorn) branch.
Unlike all the other reviews I really do appreciate the service.Im not easily pleased but can't find fault with what I've experienced
I will continue to benefit from their great service.
Thanks everybody at Asda

Up till today for me my asda joke was where can you spend 80.00 and pay 60.00 why because 20.00 were unavailable, LOL LOL LOL
But today they reached all time low, had all my order BUT wait its asda so live tracking kept moving the time.
So I phoned up the local CS 1,000s miles away to be told not delivering my order. Spoke with the store who I was told do deliver to me, only to be told it could other stores could deliver not just them ,
Want to deliver tommow I said NO, will contact me later don't know when.
One hour later txt and email cancelling the order asking me to rebook are they taking the .......
Asda have lost millions so far this year, don't they realize every pound counts ?
ASDA Price? ‘Save Money. Live Better.’ - What Was the Personal Price I Paid?
I have completed four ASDA online orders since 11 August, and every single one has involved hassle. One issue alone took eight days of back and forth to resolve. I have received three goodwill vouchers, but nothing about the products sent has been inspiring or worth the stress.
I am wheelchair bound and housebound, so online shopping is not a convenience, it is a necessity. Even then, ASDA managed to turn basic grocery orders into a drawn-out ordeal. I gave up an order placed in May order, which after returning was finally resolved, it shows how long these problems have been going on.
My most recent refund was the smoothest, but only because I returned more than half the order. I had already had enough of the refund process I knew I would have to go through again. I was going to cancel the entire order when I saw the substitutions, but I kept it solely because of the £15 voucher. That says everything.
Delivery drivers have never introduced themselves or prompted substitutions but have always been polite and helpful.
I have had to complete unpaid surveys just to complain, knowing full well there is no realistic chance of ever receiving the £1000 prize. That should not be necessary. I even had no choice but to use my personal Messenger account, which I reserve for friends, just to get basic support.
I will not be shopping with ASDA again, I will not be visiting the store, and I will be unsubscribing from all marketing. This whole experience has been a nightmare never to be repeated.
Awful service
Awful service, not particularly on the delivery but the items received. Many of the items ordered through the app did not arrive and nothing of the items mentioned on substitutes, not delivered list. Many of the items I will now need to go out and buy separately. Terrible service.
Been ordering online on the ASDA app…
Been ordering online on the ASDA app for a while and used to only have the odd issue. Recently the quality and service has took a downward spiral.
I have recieved items going out of date on the day of delivery, very short dates, damaged products, and as I didnt notice damage at the door, I have been refused refund. I'm having to put products in the bin because the packaging is split and I am unable to get a refund for it. Shocking service. I am cancelling my delivery pass and going elsewhere for my deliveries from now on.

Just sharing my experience, the refund took weeks to actually process, like, forcing me to reorder from somewhere else! 2 out of 5 stars from me!
Awful. Again.
Awful. Again.
Often late, regularly cancelled altogether... And worse still they can't be bothered telling you until way way after the time slot in which they should have delivered.
Also It really wouldn't cost much for you to provide the same service amazon do, where you inform your customers where abouts your driver is.
Bad service
Appalling service, Tv magazine is never available, it is just you can't be bothered to pick it up from the other part of the store. Always substitutes, late and items not available. We will go back to Sainsbury 😕 Another text message saying delivery driver delayed, but this is aspected.
Make your own pizza
Make your own pizza only open 10-8pm Friday Saturday Barry store got there 5.55pm and 2 in front of me served but staff member turns to me and says I’m going home not serving you and nobody on customer service desk to complain to and not only time this happened going to Morrisons from now on
They cancelled by delivery with 3 hours notice - no alternative offered
Having spent around 35 mins two days ago picking my food delivery items I get an email 3 hours before my delivery is due saying the delivery has been cancelled. I understand there can be delayed deliveries but to just cancel the whole thing. Very limited information provided as to why and no suggestion that they might offer delivery on the day after or at another time. Shocking bad service. It is the last time they will get my business.
Well i going to start by saying i am…
Well i going to start by saying i am done with asda online shopping and home delivery service, I have been online shopping with asda on and off for a long time but it got to the point now where i can not take the frustration anymore there's always items missing almost every delivery , so i had stopped online shopping with asda and went elsewhere but on one occasion because the items i wanted were on offer i though I'd give asda online shopping another go, that was a mistake not only 2 items were missing they sent me earlest dates on the perishable items i had ordered. Like i said i am done with asda online shopping and delivery service.
Asda grocery
Absolutely appalling service i have had six deliveries from asda and 5 out of six were either early or late with no communication what so ever also 3 out of six delivery there were items damadged i actually refused the delivery last night as it was meant to arrive between 6&8 and yet again it was late to be honest i would rather pay more and go back to tesco asda delivery is absolutely a joke and not one person from asda has returned with an explanation concerning this truth hurts sometimes
Tracker never accurate and when late…
Tracker never accurate and when late driver not interested. Total shambles for a service we pay for
Who has time for all this missions…
Who has time for all this missions nonsense. Asda is the worst for so called loyalty. Tesco is the best.
Asda uses Uber who don’t deliver
I ordered my food online, chose the expensive express delivery option and booked a time slot. Tracking kept putting back the delivery time, they chose Uber, then my order was cancelled without a reason. The text told me I should ring the store and I got through to a call centre. The reason given was that Uber decided they weren’t delivering. My money is being refunded, which will take 3-5working days to land back in my account. Im out of pocket with no food. Disgraceful service.
Let down by Asda
Normally shop in store but as I am ill at the moment I decided I’d need to do an online shop and get it delivered. 21 minutes before the start of my delivery slot I get a text saying my delivery has been cancelled. No reason given. And of course when I try to rebook my order there are no more delivery slots today. Not to mention that three items are now unavailable and two of the multi-buy price promotions have ended. Have had to reorder only because I can’t go out and do the shop myself but NEVER use Asda for grocery deliveries again.
Think I'll stick with Tesco
I used to use Asda, for years I regularly booked delivery slots. Then a couple of years ago they started having issues, a minimum of half of every order was substituted or unavailable. I'd book the delivery pay and then no one would turn up and then when I called customer services they would finally cancel the order. At one point I was called by the store manager in Dunstable and was told that they had over booked deliveries and that if I wanted my shopping I would have to go and collect it, I explained that I have inflammatory arthritis, no car and a child due to go to bed and I was told to go and ask a neighbour or a friend to collect it or they would cancel the order for me.
Not long after that fiasco I decided to move over to Tesco. Not had any problems, the occasional item out of stock but that's about it. Unfortunately Dunstable Tesco didn't have any delivery slots until Sunday and I needed some groceries. I had some vouchers for Asda so thought I'd give them a try again. They had express slots so picked one of them as half my shopping was paid for with the vouchers. Delivery slot was between 2:30 and 3:30pm 5 items out of stock, thought I was on to a winner.
3:30 came, and went, no sign of delivery driver. Left it till 4pm (there might be traffic) called customer service, they said, your delivery will be with you soon, Uber are the couriers and we can't do anything about them. But here's 7 quid for your patience and we will refund the delivery charge.
Low and behold, get off the phone to customer services, about 2 mins later the store have cancelled my order and now I have nothing for dinner and am out of pocket until the funds clear back into my account.
My advice, steer well clear of Asda, they used to be good, but they've really gone downhill.

Usually do my weekly shop in Asda at Bishop Auckland using the scanners however, lately we are having to check price displayed is same as scanned price. For several weeks price displayed for Asda bleach is 75p however scanned price is 80p?? This week a pack of 8 on the vine tomatoes was displayed at 97p scanned priced £1.12. I asked an assistant why this was he just said displayed price is incorrect!!! My advice is check carefully when scanning and double check if going through check outs, cost of living is high enough
