I have ordered several times from…

I have ordered several times from Grives, including taking advantage of the free samples. It is very clear that postage needs to be paid (for those leaving a poor review for this). Orders arrived quickly and are always well packaged.The perfumes are very natural smelling, no nasty chemicals, and last well. I like to layer them for variety too. Would happily order again.

Absolutely Disgraceful

Absolutely Disgraceful. Disgusting tactics, non existent customer service and misleading advertisement. I fell for one of their ads stating you can try the first perfume for free. Against my better judgment, I did and paid 5 pounds for express shipping. I have yet to get any tracking details after a week of ordering. Emailed them with my order details, and messaged on instagram to no response. It is such a shame that some brands work tirelessly to provide quality products, while dirty scammers like Grives rip people off while claiming to be so great.

Ordered a week ago

Ordered a week ago, requested to cancel my order pretty much as soon as I ordered due to the bottle being a roll on ( I didn’t realise, I thought it was spray) and I was ignored. But even though I paid £5 for next day delivery, still nothing a week later.

Scam company, stay far away.

I never received my order

I never received my order. GRVS4433777 . I’ve messaged them four times but get no response. No telephone number. Waste of money.

Used express shipping a week ago and they haven’t even dispatched the order yet

I ordered some of the perfume oils
(ORDER #GRVS4679777) on the 14th December with express shipping (due to arrive Dec 16th-18th) and still haven’t had a dispatch notification.

I have emailed twice, messaged on Facebook, and messaged on Instagram to no reply. I got so frustrated that I looked up the Trustpilot reviews and can now see that I’m not the only one.

I spent £30 of the little money I earn on these products to give as Christmas presents for my best friend and partner and now don’t have anything to give them.

Please tell me where my parcel is!!

Placed an order for Renais 10ml perfume with express delivery. GRVS4685777. Received no shipping confirmation, I reached out multiple times to the company to request an update however they have given no response or apology for huge delay. Still have not received my order or any explanation.

UPDATED to 3 stars: never received any communications from their Instagram or email but finally the purfume has arrived. It smells lovely and I like it a lot- if the process had been smoother I would definitely be ordering again to try other scents.

Let me down for Christmas

I have ordered perfumes from here in the past but this time I am really disappointed. I have ordered Zephyra and Ethera 30ml perfumes with the intention of giving them as Christmas presents I only received one with my order which arrived on the 1st of December. I have tried emailing to find out if there is a delay or if the Ethera scent is out of stock but have received no correspondence. Pretty disappointed to have wasted my money.

I still haven’t received my order

I still haven’t received my order. I’ve sent 5 emails regarding this. I’ve sent all correspondence for proof of purchase. I have not received any reply’s at all!
I am so disappointed with this company.
I trusted them and they have let me down. 😢

I HAVE JUST RECEIVED MY ORDER! 31st October, 2015! However I won’t be using this company again. It’s their loss I’m afraid.😟

Awful - AVOID

Awful, just awful. I just wish to return the perfume I ordered, as I realised it wasn't actually natural as soon as I ordered it, but they are ignoring my requests for a returns label, despite saying they'd email it to me days ago. They wouldn't send me an ingredient list and now are not replying. Terrible customer service!! The website is misleading, the perfume is not natural. Why be so terrible on every level, just make and sell a good quality product and look after your customers.

Edit - thank you for your reply below. As you are aware, the products I wish to return are unopened as per the photograph requested and sent, I am fully within my statutory rights to request and make a return. Ignoring your customer's requests to return is against these rights. I am pleased to see that you have now removed any false product claims from your website, however you may wish to check your percentages below, they should add up to 100...

Further edit - I believe that if you offered honest, efficient customer service and an honest product and website, then you wouldn't have customer issues to deal with, but instead the blame is being deflected!! I just want to return my items, that's it, but the hours I've wasted trying to get my refund is unnecessary. I wouldn't need to write disappointed reviews if you looked after your customers and replied to emails. I just hope my refund goes through smoothly.....

Edit - So weeks and weeks after my initial dealings with Elodie at Grives and they have only given me a partial refund, my £10 short of my initial £44. No reason given. I'm unsure of exactly why they have to make it so near impossible and laborious to deal with them, clearly they're not interested in customer service, they just want your money. I have no trust left in this company and would no way put their products anywhere near my skin. I'm still in pursuit of my remaining refund, although they are stating that my case is closed!? Most other retailers excel in customer service these days, they know they have to in order to survive a competitive marketplace.

Thank you for your review. I'd like to address your concerns about our products and service.

Our perfumes are 75% natural, containing 60% almond oil, 15% high-quality tocopherol (Vitamin E), and 25% perfume extractions containing synthetic ingredient. The perfume extractions contain ingredients commonly used in cosmetics to comply with UK regulatory standards for safety and quality.

We've never claimed our products are 100% natural, that was your assumption out of nowhere, unfortunately.

Regarding the returns label, I sincerely apologise for the delay. As discussed in our previous correspondence, we can only accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original condition for hygiene reasons. This is standard practice across the beauty industry.

I understand Trustpilot can feel like a weapon to leverage communication with companies, but these reviews remain on the internet forever and significantly damage the hard work of many people involved in our brand. A lot of effort goes into creating perfumes that are far more price-competitive and natural than many alternatives on the market.

What a disgrace

What a disgrace!
I tried my free sample perfume which was weak and joyless
I had ordered two sample sets as gifts but had to open the box to get my free sample out.
When I asked about the 30 day refund was told I shouldn't have opened the box as returns have to be unopened.
Unbelievable
They will be good for rolling on tissue to act as a suitcase freshener but not much else

Thank you for your review. I'd like to clarify our return policy as there seems to be a misunderstanding.

We asked for photographs of the unopened perfume bottles, not the outer box. Opening the box to access your free sample is completely acceptable - it's the individual bottles that need to remain sealed for returns.

If your sample sets remain unopened and sealed, they are eligible for return regardless of the outer packaging being opened. We made this clear in our communications.

Regarding the scent strength, oil-based perfumes are naturally more subtle than alcohol-based alternatives. Performance varies based on individual skin chemistry and application method.

If you wish to return the unopened sets, please provide the requested photographs of the sealed bottles and we'll process your return.

Changed my order

Update : I have had a reply from Elodie, who has been very helpful. However the ordering process needs some attention so that it is clear what you will receive before you pay.

I placed an order, which was changed by the company, without any contact to explain why, or to allow me to make choices. I have tried to contact them to cancel the order but have had no response. This appears to be the way to get them to reply…
The perfumes may be lovely, I don’t know, but the customer service needs improvement.

Thank you for your review. I'd like to address the confusion about your order change.

Our website and checkout process clearly state that only one free perfume is allowed per order. When multiple items are added to the basket, the system automatically keeps only the last item added to the cart, as this is our system's default behaviour.

This policy is explained both on our website and during the checkout process. The system doesn't allow multiple free samples in a single order - attempting to add more doesn't override this limitation.

Regarding communication, you're right that we should have responded to your cancellation request more promptly. I apologise for this delay in our response.

However, as a goodwill gesture, we've already sent your item. You should receive it within the next few business days.

Pleasantly surprised

So I ordered a free 10ml perfume oil and paid £4.50 delivery. After ordering I checked TripAdvisor and noticed a lot of people hadn't received theirs so I wasn't very hopeful. The oil arrived today though and it is exactly as described and smells beautiful. I have only taken a star off due to not being able to track it or being kept up to date with shipping etc. Worth it in my opinion though.

Fell for the free perfume scam - email to say it had been dispatched but 2 weeks later no delivery - and no response to email. They are now £4.99 up and have my personal details.

Never received my order

***It's now 3rd October and despite saying they would resend the item, unsurprisingly, I've received nothing and no refund or contact!!! ***
I placed an order for one of their samples and paid £4.95 for express delivery. It's now 25th September, I haven't received anything and despite emailing a messaging them on IG several times, I haven't received a reply.
I suppose getting people to pay delivery for a product that never arrives is a lucrative way to scam people.

Free offer or theft

What went wrong, the order never arrived,
Try our perfume for free they say.
Just pay £5 postage, I did. And what happened. Received email saying dispatched. Check tracking. There was none.
So emailed Customer service no response
I feel this is the experience of a few people. Be wary folks most people will just write off the postage, to me it's the principle.

Smells great

Smells great, the bottle doesn’t leak and it seems to have good silage. Very quick shipping as well. Do have to reapply a few times throughout the day but not sure if I’m wiping it off on my scarf

It's also wonderful that you experienced quick shipping - we strive to get orders out promptly.

Regarding the reapplication throughout the day, you might be right about the scarf potentially removing some of the fragrance. Oil-based perfumes can transfer onto fabric, so items like scarves, collars, or sleeves that come into contact with application areas may absorb some of the scent. You could try applying to areas less likely to touch clothing, such as behind the ears or on the wrists where they're less covered.

Would also give 0/5 if i could, never got my order,have e.ailed asking for a tracking number or update 4 times. No reply. Don't waste your time ordering from here.

Edit...if you know you've shipped it twice you shouldn't need me to tell you my order number as you obviously already have it to know this information? You've never replied to any of my emails so how did I know you reshipped it? Do you have any tracking numbers to say that it arrived as the tracking number on my order never worked?

We have shipped your order, but if you haven't received it by now, we're prepared to immediately reship it with priority delivery and full tracking information. Alternatively, if you prefer a full refund due to this poor experience, we'll process that immediately.

This company doesn't respond to emails…

This company doesn't respond to emails Or messages on Instagram requesting information as to where my order is. GRVS3356777. It's not even been dispatched yet according to Grives. Delivery expected 28th August-1st September. Nothing Nada . Honestly I don't believe i will receive ANYTHING now. Not a responce to my emails , I've sent 2, 2 messages on insta still nothing. Absolute disgrace of a company. Buyers beware.
