VERY DISAPPOINTING!After going thru the tedious process that was memorized by the employee claiming to be a nurse,named "ZELO". I was turned around twice!!! Im very healthy and I take suboxen to ensure my sobriety which I've been completely clean for 4 months and nearly every person in the center tried to find a reason to deny my life saving plasma!!! I hope somebody that has the authority to make my experience right reads this!!

I like the employees at this center. The company itself has issues. There's not near enough employees and their scheduling is terrible. The employees work in very hard to keep up with the demand. On the most part expect long night time, especially in the mornings.

Can't leave worse than a 1 star. Had two instances of failed equipment being the cause of a 56 day deferral in less than a 6 month period. Can't give a good review for donating at a place when their donation equipment is so broken that it stops me from donating all together.

Staff is amazing and facility is clean

Yesterday I went for my intake visit & first donation. The intake nurse was great. She walked me through the process and even set up my next appt. She wrote on the reminder "Happy Birthday" with a smiley face, as the next visit was going to be on my birthday. That's where the nice ended. I am arthritic and left my mobility scooter outside (I couldn't have gotten it through the door if I wanted). I stood by the kiosk filling out my questionnaire for the whole time practically in tears from pain. It would have been nice to be provided with a stool. I was honest when answering my questions. This, I knew would cause further, follow-up questions, which I understood and expected. The intake nurse was again sweet and helpful. Until she asked about my answer to "Have you ever had cornea repacement?" I had cataracts in both eyes OVER 7 YEARS AGO. She told me that, unfortunately, I was BANNED FOR LIFE. I was there for an hour and a half before I was sent on my way. I understand & have respect for their policies, if they are rational. But, I Googled "Why can't I donate Plasma after cataract surgery?" The reply came back... "you can donate plasma after cataract surgery, but you must wait until your eye has healed and you are fully recovered from any medications used. Most donation centers require a temporary wait of 1 to 4 weeks following minor outpatient surgeries like cataract removal." As I said, my surgery was over 7 years ago. I take no medication. I don't participate in risky behaviors. But, I am banned FOR LIFE because I had surgery 7 years ago?? Finding another Plasma Center that will take me with my "corneal disability" would not be easy. This center is within "walking distance" of my home. The nice intake nurse suggested I donate whole blood. But, again, with my mobility issues, it would not be practical for me to locate someplace to offer my A positive. Am I really to believe that of the hundreds of donors that walk through their doors no one has ever had cataracts? Me thinks not!
Tomorrow would have been the second visit (set up by the intake nurse). I received 2 emails today. First saying they understand people are busy, but they missed me yesterday. The other giving me instructions for what to bring to my first visit tomorrow.

Grifol's is difficult & inconvenient to deal with most of the time. I voluntarily informed the nurse I was taking Munjuro for weight loss, otherwise they would have never known so since I'm taking a glp-1 I now have to go through an act of congress to be able to donate again. Absolutely ridiculous. And, now there is no way to contact my donating site directly. You must call a call center who relays your message to the center who may or may not return your call after 24 hours. Just not worth the trouble.

Grifols lost my blood sample and never notified me. They didn't text, email or call. When I arrived after 90 minutes on public transportation, they would not take my blood for plasma because they lost my sample. They also refused to compensate me for my time even though they were at fault.

I have been a regular plasma donor at the Grifols location in Bellflower for quite some time, and I can honestly say it has been an outstanding experience from the very beginning.
Before coming to Grifols, I donated at BioPlasma, but my experience there wasn't positive. After a friend recommended Grifols, I decided to make the drive, even though it's not close to my home. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I've made.

From day one, the intake staff were welcoming, professional, and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process. The check-in and pre-screening are incredibly efficient because everything is handled online. Compared to my previous experience elsewhere, where the pre-check process was lengthy and frustrating, Grifols makes the entire experience quick and seamless.

The plasmapheresis team is exceptional. They are highly skilled, patient, and genuinely care about your comfort. They take the time to prepare you properly and are as gentle as possible when inserting the needle. You can tell they take pride in what they do. It's also clear that the staff enjoy working together; the camaraderie on the donor floor creates a positive, welcoming atmosphere that puts donors at ease.

What truly sets Grifols apart is its people. Every member of the staff is warm, friendly, and treats donors with kindness and respect. They make you feel appreciated rather than just another number.

One person who consistently makes my visits memorable is Kathy. She goes out of her way to remember donors' names, and her cheerful personality is contagious. Her genuine Southern hospitality shines through in every interaction, and she always starts my donation experience on a positive note. Employees like Kathy are a big part of what makes this centre so special.

If you're considering becoming a plasma donor, I wholeheartedly encourage you to do so. Plasma donations help save and improve the lives of countless patients who depend on these life-changing therapies. And if you're looking for a donation centre where you'll be treated with professionalism, compassion, and genuine appreciation, I highly recommend Grifols in Bellflower. The extra drive is absolutely worth it.

I’ve been donating at Grifols for a few months now and I’ve had great service. Just recently, my experience has been horrible. The young lady that takes the vital, her name is Anna. She has absolutely no personality, not friendly and very dry….. she’s is most definitely in the wrong line of work!! I cringe when she calls for me. It’s like she’s determined to make sure you doesn’t pass. I hope and pray I never have to get her again!!

One of their competitors changed their policy of defining a new donor. Previously it was no donor activity in the last 6 months, now it's lifetime. So I was super focused when going to this brand and ask several times what was needed to give credit to the person referring me. The processor took the name and I thought all was good. I check with my friend and they said they did not get their money. No worries, my first thought was not bad faith. I waited until my second donation to check. They said because my referral was not in their app it did not count. I feel completely robbed and deceived. If you can't trust the employees with information, I don't think I want to trust them with needles in my arm either.

This place is one of the best in Wichita KS Kansas the staff is very helpful and thoughtful they really genuinely do care the place is nice and clean

The center is very nice and nice staff. Lakeisha is the nicest nurse. Ask for her she will take good care of you.

Hands down this is the best place in turn to come to donate the street is very friendly and cares about you the walk you through the process
