Bought the 100 ladybird larvae, followed the instructions, 2 weeks later, can't see any larvae in the bag, or on the plant and not a single ladybird!
(but now have plenty of aphids)

Thanks for your reply. Interesting that you blame the aphids and try to sell me more products! I checked the bag twice a day, as well as inspect the plant (a small honeysuckle) very closely for any larvae (please don't try and sell me a magnifing glass too) - unless the larvae are 'off doing their thing' on another plant, I am not convinced it worked. I expected to see at least 1 ladybird by now. Am resorting to bug spray as plants now infested. Harumph!

ok, i'll hold off on the bug spray for now. Still sceptical. Until i spot a larvae or ladybird, i'll believe i paid £17.99 for some shredded paper! (however, if i do spot either i'll add more stars).

Been using them for 3 years. Excellent service. The ladybird larvae for aphids and similar are so effective and their pricing is fair.

Ordered a family pack of ladybirds and larvae. Incomplete package as no bags provided for larvae release! some ladybirds were already dead!! In desperation we used our own envelopes Lost all the larvae as the envelopes we attached to the trees were the wrong size! phone calls not returned despite answer machine saying leave a message. Customer service awful. Would rather spend hours writing several emails to us explaining why everything was our fault and not theirs as it was a bank holiday. Condescending! Not taking any responsibility for incomplete package. Claimed not to have received our phone calls until we sent a copy of our phone log ! Claimed to see lots of larvae “running around” in video we sent showing just two larvae moving ! It’s never about the money or a refund . It’s always about how the company treat you ! We were first time customers. we have a mini orchard and allotment ! Could’ve been life long customers. It’s a big fat NO from us !!
Ps the missing envelopes were offered to us AFTER we had already told them that the larvae had all been blown away !!!! A partial Reimbursement was offered for 5/6 dead ladybirds IF we had kept the dead ladybirds as proof !!!! Some of them had fallen into the grass !

Spent £50 on adult ladybirds, larvae and a ladybird barn. Complete waste of money. Followed instructions exactly as stated. The adult ladybirds were alive, but disappeared after a few days. The larvae looked dead on arrival, but I thought they were dormant, so I still placed them on the tree in the paper bags provided. 4 weeks on: zero activity and the tree is still aphid-infested. I left 1-star reviews on their website and they did not publish them. BUYER BEWARE!

The 'husks' that you mention would have been visible and confirmation of activity were THE ONLY THINGS in the plastic boxes, nothing else alive or dead.

I had ordered from them before and they have a great product selection. I made a mistake when placing the order and it went to my neighbour, who refused the delivery. When the order arrived back at their warehouse a refund was processed, the customer service was efficient if not the frendliest - but at least there's a person replying and they're relatively easy to get hold of. Their ladybug larvae are good value for money and they have a good selection of non-chemical pest control.

Purchased 2 x Solar Outdoor Pest Repeller.

The product has 2 positive reviews on the website. My negative review submitted a couple of weeks ago has failed to appear.

The pest repellers I purchased do not repel. Targeted animals are not deterred one little bit.

Save your money.

Far too quick for a review. Bees have yet to hatch from cocoons. Vague idea when they would have been dispatched.
Positive instructions on receipt. When I placed them as advised, wild bees fling around them. Are they a threat to larvae.

Easy to order, fast service and delivery. Unfortunately the three cotton bags of ladybug larvae have not developed at all and therefore have had no effect on our aphid problem after two weeks.

I bought a Bee Hotel and 50 solitary bee cocoons in March and am thrilled with how succesful the hatching of the cocoons and the populating of the Bee Hotel has been. My one criticism is that it is a complete time waster standing staring at the bee activity when there are so many jobs to do:) Highly recommend we all have one in our garden:)
