Yesterday I had an annual heating pump check by an engineer from Greener Living. Daniel Pouncey called me prior to his arrival to let me know when I can expect him. He arrived exactly in specified time frame and did the appropriate checks. It was amazing to see how well he represents this company with his excellent knowledge about the system and customers service skills.

I also had a little complain to make about an installation process from Greener Living carried by their contractors in 2021 where the worktop in utility room was not supported when they installers placed a water tank on it, and now the weight of a water tank placed on this worktop is making the wall tiles above breaking apart and it looks like this worktop is going to collapse sooner or later which makes me feel scared as there is a washing machine and tumble dryer underneath. This is absolutely a fault made by the installers so I am going to address this issue further to the office and Daniel took photos to support me in this process. Thank you Daniel for your excellent service and support yesterday.

Adam contacted me via telephone to arrange a date and time to conduct the annual service, backed up with a confirmation email.
Daniel Pouncey arrived on time. He was courteous, polite and efficient. He had an in-depth knowledge of the product, and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Daniel is a credit to Greener Living. It's just a shame that customer service isn't up to the same standard.

Engineer arrived early. He was very pleasant and seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He found a fault that was unknown to me or Greener Living.
Would like to talk with him about programming the panel in the hallway.

Daniel was polite and extremely helpful. He carried out the annual review very efficiently and answered all my questions.

After several weeks delay Daniel Pouncey arrived to conduct the annual service of our ASHP system.He was on time friendly courteous efficient and conveyed an excellent depth of product knowledge. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction All in all he gave us good service.

This journey began November 2023
A 12KW heat pump was installed and our problems began.
No heat for for a week until an engineer arrived.
A pile or their garbage left,on my drive, and after numerous promises to collect it,I paid £100 for a skip.
Endless promise for a refund.Pie in the sky.
March 2023
A slow leak developed over our living room.
Two young lads spent over four hours looking and not finding leak.
Following week a more experienced guy fixed leak.
May 2023 no hot water for eight days.
A plumber came spent five minutes and pronounced that it was fixed. No such luck.
Electrician came and remarked that it was a plumbers job!
Endless promises and little proper support
Difficult to get through to a human being as "leave a message nonsense"
Nobody but Nobody has explained how to program the system.Merely a cursory suggestion that nothing
needs to be touched?
I have stopped wasting my time with this outfit and will make alternative arrangements for future support
and guidance
Not a pleasant experience and not one I would wish on anybody

Received £100 to pay for skip to remove their rubbish.
Heating system appears to be operating correctly.

Although I had to chase Greener Living several times for the annual service of my Air Source Hear Pump, Daniel was clearly excellent: courteous, expert, knowledgeable… he took the initiative to reduce the frequency of the Legionaire’s setting on the water tank (whilst ensuring it still complied to regulations) and fixed a small condensation issue. Very efficient. Left comprehensive paper trail.

This review is solely about Daniel Pouncy and not Greener Living. Daniel came and did an annual service today. He is very polite and professional young man . He called to give a ETA, arrived and explained what he was going to do. Completed the survice and gave me a copy of everything he has checked. Daniel most definitely deserves 5 stars.

Daniel who came to service our airsource heat pump and system was very good and he would get 5 stars.
The company however I would only rate 1 star.
I had to constantly chase them and in the end the only way to get the response was by complaining to the regulator. Before fitting they wanted payment upfront. I didn’t and my advice is don’t under any circumstances.
I had explained to the sales staff that my power shower was essential to me and they confirmed it would still work. They then fitted a sealed system with which my pump wouldn’t work.(they should have fitted a vented system) They said nothing could be done. I negotiated a £1,000 discount but said even that wouldn’t really satisfy me. They then said pay the whole bill and we will refund you the £1,000!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say I paid the bill less the £1,000. There were lots of other issues so on the whole I wouldn’t use them again.

Excellent service from start to finish. The salesman was knowledgeable and realistic. The independent energy assessment for the house indicated which radiators were required for each room, and the size of heat pump, and the £200 cost was taken off the bill. The installers were really friendly and explained everything, including accommodating a late change of plan on my part, moving the tanks from the garage to the attic! The job was commissioned today after a week running and everything works well. They also installed an Iboost+ that has taken over most of my hot water duties for free with existing solar panels. I have every confidence in this company and would not hesitate to recommend them for air source heat pump installations.

Daniel was most pleasant and knowledgeable when servicing our heat pump. As an engineer myself, you can feel when a technical answer to a question makes sense and he gave me no doubt about his understanding from my questions. Thank you Daniel.

Daniel was very respectful ,polite and talked me threw wat he was doing,as i was doing nights i forgot he was coming so he said he would go for 10minz and come back that was brilliant as i wasnt dressed

Engaged with Greener Living for Solar and ASHP. The sales pitch was good and reactive but as soon as the work started everything started to go downhill. I only agree to pay 50% before the job and 50% on completion and it’s probably the best decision I’ve ever made. They had to come back 3 times for the ASHP and change radiators again. The software was not setup correctly either. Then we got to the Solar and that was a world of pain. It was installed in the wrong place, the installers then didn’t turn it on and took months before it worked. The whole time I was being badgered to pay the money. Stupidly I did this before getting all documentation which I really regret and now I am working with a customer service black hole. My recommendation is when you read the reviews looks for consistency and you will see mine matches other. Definitely do not give them all of your money up front if you do end up working with them. Probably the worse company I have ever engaged with.

Daniel came out today to carry out the annual service on our heat pump system, great job, system works great which greener living installed 3 years ago.

Daniel came to undertake the annual service on my Mitsubishi Air Source Heat Pump. He did an excellent job, quickly and tidily. I hadn't realised how the responsiveness of the unit had deteriorated over time, but it now reacts like new!

There was a problem with the Buffer Tank Lee happened to solve the problem. But Lee was able to fix it. Further attention was required, regarding wiring this was tended to, two days later.

The service was somewhat overdue but the call to arrange the date was polite and efficient. A subsequent call to change the timing of the service was also fine, with the name of the engineer given. Daniel called half an hour before he arrived to give us an ETA. He was very polite and competent. He completed the service to my satisfaction, explaining that the Fernox filter had been partially blocked and that the flow rate had substantially improved after he had cleaned it.
I look forward to seeing him again next year.
