The website was pretty easy and efficient to use, but I did request a call just to get a few questions answered but no one ever called. I reserved the trip we wanted anyway.

This was my first time with Great Rail Holidays boomed through Trailfinders. Tge holiday was fabulous and really well organised. Hotels, Trains, Food, Trips all spot on and part of the trip. The trip made all the better by the fabulous Sanjay, our Tour Manager whose local knowledge and planning were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.

Andy was really helpful and quickly found our credit on the system. He then proceeded to process our booking and answered all my questions.

An Unforgettable Whirlwind Across India – Incredible Guides, Wildlife, and Mountain Views!
Just returned from an intense, action-packed two-week tour covering India’s Golden Triangle, a wildlife safari in Ranthambore, and two nights up in Shimla. It was a incredible journey from start to finish!
The Team & Support:
A special mention goes to our extraordinary tour manager, Sanjay Sihag, and local guide, Sudhir. Their depth of knowledge regarding local history, culture, and customs was immense—so rich that it’s inspired me to keep reading and learning now that I’m home! Beyond their expertise, Sanjay kept the group running seamlessly and prioritized everyone’s health and wellbeing, seamlessly organizing doctor visits and accompanying group members on pharmacy runs whenever needed.
The Transport:
Our coach driver deserves a medal! Navigating Delhi and Jaipur traffic smoothly and safely—all without brushing against a single tuk-tuk—was nothing short of miraculous.
Standout Accommodations:
The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla: Hands-down our favorite hotel. The heritage building, stunning mountain views, prime location, and exceptionally attentive staff made it truly special. The stay here was further enhanced by attending the talk given by Raaja Bhasin, the award winning author and absolute expert on everything Shimla.
Hotel Ranthambore Regency: Loved the atmosphere here—it had a fantastic, authentic safari feel.
We now need a holiday just to recover from the pace, but it was worth every single moment. Highly recommended!

The on line process was straightforward and was able to navigate easily. I have not given a 5 star rating as I am still waiting for the email confirmation of the booking.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff in both Customer Service (Ellie) and Sales (Andy). Between them they sorted out the muddle that I'd got myself into online and Andy booked my holiday on the phone (without making me feel stupid for getting in a muddle !)

Did not enjoy the 35hr train ride it was too long. Concession staff was very rude, The bathrooms were not clean and stocked with paper products. Once we arrived at Whitefish and met motorcoach everything was better, All accomodations were great my favorite was rustic inn in Jackson hole, least favorite Lake Powell had to take suitcase up the stairs, Disappointed that we didn't have dinner cruise. Linda was a great tour guide and especially enjoyed Dan, Yellowstone guide. Our bus driver Mylan was super, very kind and safe. Did not enjoy Barts steakhouse too noisy and couldn't talk to fellow travelers during farewell dinner. Enjoyed Ebenezers show too. Loved all the beautiful scenery that we saw.

Friendliness and helpful advice from the lady on the phone made booking straight forward.
