Christmas break
Looking for a short UK break over Christmas, including the festive meal, I hit upon the Great Little Breaks website. The selection on offer, at good prices, was excellent and well detailed. Booking was easy and the break at The Old Ship Hotel in Brighton notable for the warmth of the hotel’s staff.

Christmas at Blenheim Palace
Always have had great times when we book via G.L.B.. this time was to Blenheim Palace For the Christmas lights trail, and Neverland themed Palace.
What a wonderful experience, and the Hotel was fab (Mercure at Thame) ... Reception realised on arrival, that I might prefer a shower, rather than a bath, and changed our room without hesitation.. All meals taken in the restaurant were of a great standard and can't wait for our next adventure with G.L.B.

The break was just what we were looking for. GLB offer us exactly what we receive at the hotel as to what is described in their email offers.

The warm welcome by Philip at the hotel…
The warm welcome by Philip at the hotel Mercure Lambert was a great start to our returning visit. GLB you've done it again with a good deal , Blenheim at Xmas was amazing. So was the festive meal on our first night which was included. Amy was our waitress, what a pleasure it was to be served our meal by her. Tickets for Blenheim were sent to us a week ahead of our stay so no worries about anything. Thoroughly recommended

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. I ordered Gift Vouchers on Friday, for some reason it will take 4 days to email them (you can get a parcel delivered in 1 day!!) Then they didn't arrive, so it was too late for the Birthday Gift. Monday night I emailed a complaint via the website, no response of apology. This is the second time this has happened. Happy to take the money but not provide the service.
Sorry Sofia, but I think you will find the 10th December (the date on my voucher email) was a Tuesday not a Monday as you say in your reply . Happy to list a copy if you are still in doubt.

Unfortunately, we did not receive any special requests indicating that the gift vouchers were intended as a birthday gift rather than a Christmas one, particularly during this time of year.
As a standard, we note that email delivery of gift vouchers will be emailed within two working days if no postage option is selected. Based on the information from you and our support team, the vouchers were ordered on Friday and delivered the following Monday, which falls within this timeframe.
Once again, I apologise for any inconvenience caused and I appreciate your understanding.
