Second stay shared with 2 wedding parties
We re booked this hotel for a second stay 1 week after our first visit as we were so pleased with the first stay.
BUT.... our second stay was very poor.
There were two weddings and other functions on and, despite being advised differently by reception, the wedding party were all over the hotel.
No bar....delay in accessing dining room, busy noisy breakfast.
Reception told us we could use the golf club bar a simple 2 minute walk away.
This walk was least 10 to 16 minutes across grass.....and it was raining torrentially.
The restaurant was ok as before, but loss of bar was annoying. As was the constant noise from the wedding party.

Lovely Liverpool
Smooth rail journeys both ways (despite the Tube strike on the way there) ; very satisfied with the Novotel Paddington Village hotel which was in a good location. Excellent meals, both breakfast and dinner.
Easy getting around either on foot or via bus [my freedom pass gave me free travel]. I saw a lot in this City and everyone I encountered was very friendly.

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff in beautiful Cotswold village. Dinner and breakfasts were excellent. The day at Blenheim was most enjoyable and made the break very good value.
