I wish I saw all these negative reviews before I gave them all my money for a Christmas gift that arrived smashed to pieces because of no packaging. Write to them all you want. They’ll never reply

Dog bowl came completely smashed into hundreds of pieces... dunno why you would pack a ceramic bowl in a paper bag?

I was hesitant to buy with all the negative reviews around returns processes, so I avoided any clothing items I'd need to return. What I did buy on express turned up within 2 days, and the quality is wonderful!

So I'll give it 5/5 based on my experience. :)

I ordered items back the early part of October. They took money out of my account and as of today 15th Nov I have not received my items. I have sent 2 emails and not received a reply. I used their chat system and it comes back on such order number or email. I thought Gorman were a reputable company. No they are a bunch of crooks. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHONKY COMPANY.

Orders arrived promptly - in biodegradable recycled paper packaging- very happy! Did arrive in 3 different parcels at different times but that was not an issue. One item did not arrive and email was sent advising they don't have the item and a refund was issues without me having to message or do anything, which I was happy about. Was emailed a $20 voucher to use to make up for the item they couldn't provide. The rest of the items that arrived were lovely, all ordered for a great price on a sale- very happy overall. I saw all the negative reviews after I ordered and had major regrets but actually in the end I am very happy with the items and delivery etc.

I ordered four items in one order for my grandson, and in seperate order two adult items. Both orders have been dispatched split. It seems when the items are in stock in NZ they are dispatched in about 2/3 working days. If they arent in NZ they come from Australia. I dont think this is made clear enough. Its been 10 days since the first order and half has not arrived and no news about dispatch. Ive made two online enquires and they dont come back. For quite expensive items its very bad i think. I wont be shopping online with them again thats for sure and im about 2 hrs from a store so they wont be getting any more money from me.

The worst customer experience. They sit on an online order for weeks, don’t respond to emails and refund orders without an explanation. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere!!

Do not order online.
Express delivery promises a turnaround of 1-4 business days, with a grace period of an extra 3 days in sale periods.

The customer service contact is via email and they do not respond.

I’m 2 weeks down the track now and the item hasn’t even been dispatched.
Save your time and money.

Zero customer service! I've given up trying to get a response to my refund query, and probably won't shop online with Gorman again.

If I could give half a star I would. Waited 3 weeks only for them to refund 2 (out of 7) items and then a further 10 days later I received 1 item. Contacted again and was told more packages would arrive and eventually given tracking numbers that didn’t work. Then received another item today. It has been over 5 weeks since ordering and I am over it!! Never again.

One star for the products - I do like them - but the customer service is horrible. Items are constantly either unavailable after ordering online, or delayed by weeks before shipment. I’ve been waiting for a refund on an order that was delayed because of stock issues for two months now and no one has replied to any of my inquiries using the method they told me to contact them with. Horrible horrible customer service and bad business practices!!!

I very rarely do online purchases because I’m always unsure but Gorman WAS a reputable brand once. I placed an order with Gorman of 3 items 8 weeks ago and I’ve received some message (after emailing to ask where my order was) with a tracking number but it says it can’t be found. I can’t get a refund. China and the US are mentioned in the email as the carriers. Now my credit card has been hacked on line. I have no idea who by but behaviour like this from big companies makes me nervous. I would NEVER EVER purchase on line from Gorman again and I’m going to follow it up with the ACCC.

Horrible scam of a company! I placed my order over 2 weeks ago and have not heard from Gorman since. I can't cancel my order because all of the customer service is automated.

When I send a chat message, there are only pre-selected options that refer me to an email address. When I email them, I get an automated message back saying I can "usually" expect to hear back within 72 hours. It's impossible to reach a human. This business is criminal (and yes, I checked that I ordered from their official website).

I also can't find their ABN anywhere to report them to Australian Competition & Consumer Commission. Please, if you live in Australia, report this company to law enforcement! I am located in the USA, so I guess my only recourse now is a dispute with my credit card company to try to get money back. Sucks because I love the clothing, but they've literally robbed me.

I placed an order more than two weeks ago. They took my money and they have not shipped yet. The customer service seems to be a joke, the only thing they send to you is an automatic answer, the customer messages seem to be forwarded into some dark void. The chat on the website delievers the same answer in circles. Two years ago, my order arrived one week later in Germany. And I can still that one in my customer account. So the website is legit.We will see...

Been waiting nearly a month for my order. You just go around in circles with their chat.

Worst customer service ever in fact there is NO customer service at all. GORMAN YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. You STOLE my money and I have never received a refund or the product that I purchased and you have no ANSWERS just a pathetic sorry email that has never resolved anything .Absolutely Disgusting SCAMMERS.. NEVER SHOP here

My experience with an online order from gorman mirrors the below orders in that I ordered the item 13 days ago, it hasn’t been shipped yet, and despite various attempts at contacting them, no satisfactory response. I reported to ACCC today. Please also report your experience. If we don’t report this company nothing will change. Their behaviour is totally unacceptable

Please be careful shopping with them online. They sent me the wrong size I returned paid for the return too. Didn’t hear anything from them for weeks. They then sent me a store credit saying I can’t have a refund due to the item not being full price because I used my welcome voucher. It’s not my fault they sent the wrong size. I feel like I’ve been scammed. I have made a complaint to ACC and asked my bank to help out.

Avoid awful customer service. I purchased items 3 weeks ago, visit tracker and they haven’t been shipped as yet. The tracker doesn’t recognize my order number!!! I’ve sent 4 urgent emails no response. There’s no phone number to call and it isn’t clear which email to use. I’m really quite upset - this is crap. Quick to take money but what about a refund?? I’m
