I’ve loved Gorman for years for its unique prints and Australian creativity, but the quality has really dropped lately. My linen pants became threadbare and developed a hole within a year, even with light wear, and newer items show fabric pulling after just a few uses. Customer service is slow and unhelpful, making returns or refunds difficult. It’s sad to see such a once-reliable brand lose its way. I hope Gorman listens to loyal customers and improves its quality and support before more people give up on them.

Really surprised with its bad reviews. I've ordered scrubs 3x from gormanshop and have not had any issues. I'm 5'1 so needed a little adjustment on the scrub pants lenght. Otherwise material is good, breathable and the prints and colours are wonderful. I've had compliments especially on the blue fruit bowl scrub set. Many thanks... will definitely be returning.

I wish I would have read all these review before purchasing from this company.

I bought my baby (8-month) old two pairs of socks. On the product page, it listed "one size fit all", with a standing kid model wearing the socks (who is at least 11m-1.5y old). When I received the socks, the label is 0-6m. It is totally unacceptable and it does not fit my baby. I am an UK customer so it takes more than the socks price to return this item. I wrote to the CS but no responds so far.

Besides, I ordered another kid sweater and was really excited to wear it on my boy. Just after one gentle wash (20 mins wash, 30 degree water, 1200 spinning speed - not the highest), the cotton-like material fell off and it was all over the washing machine and stuck on all other clothes. That's very disappointing to receive kid clothing in such quality esp my boy has eczema.

Although their designs are fun and colouring that I like, to avoid all troubles, I would not recommend purchasing from this company esp if you are foreign customers. I wrote to the customer service about the above concerns but no responds so far. I also read their return policy. They tend to provide voucher or credit for your next purchase without giving the refunds. That's not protecting consumers.

Absolutely appalling customer service Gorman! I have been waiting SIX WEEKS for my order to be delivered. I've sent numerous emails asking when can I expect delivery and I've had no reply pertaining to my order. How hard is it to communicate with your customers? Gorman was quick to create a shipping number, but the delay in shipping in ridiculous and the lack of customer service is beyond dreadful. I wouldn't recommend shopping online with Gorman

Just the most appalling customer service ever! I ordered online a dress for a holiday. I have been a long time fan of Gorman but no more. They left my address off the parcel and NZ Post returned to sender. I tried to contact Gorman but could only talk to AI generated chat bots no reply emails. Eventually got to talk to someone in a store who got customer service to call me and offered a “online store credit”. No thank you! I want a full refund including the courier fee. Still waiting! 😡

Hi, I bought this frock from a Recycle Boutique in NZ, it was obvious it had never been worn so I was thrilled with it. I wore it once & washed it cold gentle machine cold wash with mild detergent as the label stated. Inside out. Organic cotton! I'm just ironing it and the beautiful spots have disappeared in places 🙄 Imagine my disbelief, disappearing dots.... I got comments how lovely it looked. Anybody else experienced this issue? I bought a dress for Christmas from Gorman online for $291. It did not fit properly so I returned it to sender. There was no return information in the package the dress came in so I thought this was the appropriate thing to do. I contacted Gorman via email and they did not reply. I have recently contacted them again seeking my money back only to be told they can't find the package and as a gesture of goodwill they will give me half of the purchase price as a voucher. As if I ever want to purchase anything from this company again!!!!! Beware do not buy from them especially online.

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. I'm a first time U.S. customer, and I will never purchase from this company again. The sizing is way off and their medium fit like size large. I was astonished at the extremely poor quality given the cost. Sheer material that felt stiff and cheap despite a $90 price tag on sale. I purchased sale items and it's not even worth it to send them back for store credit only. The shipping fees make returns and exchanges pointless. Shady company, crappy products, stupid customer service. Never doing business with them again. Avoid at all costs.

Delivery took forever even though it’s domestic. Finally received products in separate deliveries over the span of a month. One of the cushions was extremely mouldy so I contacted customer service for a replacement. it’s been months and I’ve never got a reply.

I purchased new season dresses from Gorman in a couple of sizes as am new to the brand and don't really know the fit. They arrived and when I went to return, was told there was no refund available as although they were brand new stock, they were somehow discounted and am now left with a huge voucher for a brand I don't want. I cannot afford to have lost this much money and they could not care and were totally inflexible.
The fact that these products were apparently not able to be returned for a full refund was not advised at the time of purchase.

Love Gorman clothing! They are so fun and bright. I will say that their online customer service is TERRIBLE, so do not shop online if you can't get into a store for returns. The staff in store are always so lovely and helpful.

DO NOT BUY from them if you live in the USA. They are unwilling to help with shipping back returns. Cost double and triple the amount you spent to send it back. Unfortunate.

I bought a pair of jeans for my daughter, but after only a few months, the zipper broke. When I took them back to the store, they told me that they could send a replacement pair from their online shop for free, but warned that there might be a delay in contacting me via email. I thought it would be better to receive store credit instead, so I went to the store to ask about it.

At the Macquarie store, the manager said that without a receipt, they couldn’t do anything about the defective jeans, even though it was clear they were faulty. She also expressed confusion about why the staff had promised me a replacement.

I no longer have the receipt for an item purchased months ago, and it’s frustrating and disappointing to hear that they can't assist me now, especially since they were so friendly when making the sale. Despite having a membership, they never asked for my information during the purchase, which is why they claim there’s no record of it. They told me there's nothing they can do without the receipt.

It seems like I need to keep receipts for years just to get help with faulty items.

I am giving 1 start review as there isn’t any option of less.

1) customer service : 0/10
I took my Cardigan to chermside shopping centre couple of years back ( soon after buying) which appeared to have holes ( never see in any of my other clothes in closet). I was not provided any support / exchange/ explanation then.

2) bought another top just recently from their store. Not worn even once except for measurements ect and kept in my closet since then . It had similar issue. Fabric threads are probably prone for this. Both had woolen fibers I guess.

Took both to shop. No explanation offered . They initially said that they could provide refund voucher but later refused giving lack of receipt as reason. They are even refusing that I bought it from store despite me having account. It is not my fault if they did not attach my purchase to my account. On top of that the lady at counter very rudely was trying to prove that I was lying when I was clearly telling her that I bought from their store. She smelled the top and declared that given she can smell some perfume on it so I must have worn that . She had no sense that she is missing the whole point of my reason for taking pains to bring those clothes to them . Instead of taking feedback and doing something about it she was hellbent on proving me wrong. I just left the shop as this was disrespectful.

Gorman must know that just making colourful clothes does not run a business successfully. You must trust your customers . Take feedback appropriately and do something about it.
This business cannot go far and it showing all the signs of it.

I love Gorman product.
However their customer service is the worst I ever seen.
I purchased same pattern T-shirt for 2yo and 7yo kids. I was so excited to put matching outfit for my children.
Although they canceled one and sent me only one T-shirt. I wouldn’t have bought if I know I can’t make it matching.
They also cancelled my pants for top and bottom setup suits.
Both time, I sent email and complain but only same email come back like AI.

Their stock management is very bad and I get canceled all the time.
If you don’t know if you have stock or not, don’t sell.

More love those product, more disappointed with customer service.

They have delivered the completely wrong item (and the receipt in the package is for someone completely different who is probably looking for their order too) and the only redress is to email their customer service but they haven't responded to any messages and it's been over 5 business days. Their auto-response says they're busy and they will respond within 72 hours. This has not been my experience and I'm so disappointed - there is no phone number, the help chat is a bot and they don't seem to want to resolve.

My order was unsuccesfully delivered twice!

Gorman has ridiculous return/exchange policies. I tried to exchange a x-mas gift that were the wrong size and was told they could not do it because it was 5 days over the exchange period. The worst part about it was their employees were extremely embarrassed that the company they work for does not allow the exchange to happen. I will never purchase or encourage anyone to purchase from their tacky designs and ridiculous return policy.

Have been trying for months and months to redeem a voucher I received for returned items. They either don't reply or reply with incorrect instructions/info and I still can't use the voucher. I'm ready to give up but have tried one more time as the voucher is worth over $200

Horrible customer service. Waited two months for an order to be delivered. Only reason the sent my order is because I emailed them for a refund. They send my order the day after I request a refund which I don’t want the item anymore then make me pay for shipping with absolutely no follow up or responses to any of my question after they post my item despite me asking for a refund because it’s 2 MONTHS late!!!
