Hi Julien, thank you for sharing your feedback.
The auto-sync algorithm is a supplementary tool that helps you avoid manual adjustments in lots of cases. It performs the best on recordings with a steady rhythm, but it can handle tempo changes pretty well and even tolerate some inaccuracies in the transcription. On the other hand, manual synchronisation might be less painful than it looks: https://goplayalong.com/help-sync/.
I have plans to further improve the sync workflow by enabling partial auto-sync for complicated songs. This would let you add just a few sync points manually and let the algorithm fill the gaps in-between.
If you find any issue in Go PlayAlong, your feedback is important. Please feel free to share more details about the white screen issue and any other problem by sending an email to support@goplayalong.com and I will do my best to provide a fix as soon as possible.
Kind regards,

Amazing program.
I love this program. i have been using it for a couple of years now. i just wish it was around when i was in high school trying to learn rhcp bass lines. It makes learning songs a breeze. this is a must for any musician. A+++
Customer Service: instead of buying the upgrade version, i mistakenly bought the full version. i was able to cancel with no issues and get a refund. very quick response, and easy to deal with if needed. Thank You.

Play along with your favorite songs
Who doesn't want to play guitar along to their favorite songs? Go PlayAlong allows you to sync an audio file to guitar tablature so you can sight read as you "play along." This is great because it's like you are playing along with your favorite bands. Go PlayAlong allows you to adjust the volume levels of the audio track and tablature MIDI playback. This will allow you to listen to the tablature so you can focus in on the instrument part you are playing while playing along with the audio track.
