We have been using Goodbarber for about one year. The app was great at the beginning. It was in the play store without any issues. Problems arose this summer when the play store revised it's policies. Since then even following the very extensive documentation we've been unable to get the app approved. We've tried stripping down to a very basic news app but still it was rejected and now removed. All the while we've been in contact with support who say we're not following the exact guidelines but I beg to differ. We're still paying them and the rates only seem to have gone up. We're rather unhappy with the situation. I think we're going to stop using them now. The process to create an app is great, I have to admit however it's not useful to have an app which you pay for and can't get through an approval process. Admittedly Google has made it more difficult in recent months and perhaps some blame is there.

I have been a subscriber for just a month now and do NOT have any intention of renewing my services for the below reasons:

*The guidance for submitting the apps is outdated and misleading for the "do it yourself" version. Almost as if you're pushing the individual to pay an additional fee to gain assistance. This was confirmed by one of your own support team (Emerald, who was THE ONLY helpful support person I dealt with in my entire membership time). The screen shots are not accurate and the misleading information killed valuable time in figuring out what else was needed and where to navigate to get these things done. Partly on my own research and partly waiting for your support team to reply.
*Support team responses were slow and unhelpful 80% of the time. At first I thought perhaps it was company policy to be sluggish and rude, but then when I finally got a ticket completed by Emerald, it was clear it was an individual issue. Although she seemed to be the only person at your company who had any urgency or care to assist in getting help to your customers. I found that once I asked her to check on a ticket all of a sudden the other tech support person was more responsive. The lag in reply time cost me the fact that my app is STILL not approved by Google Play.
*It has been over 30 days and my app still isn't approved by Google Play. This is not due to my own fault, as I followed ALL of the listed directions in the first week of my membership. I asked countless times for confirmation if it was submitted correctly and now, for the fourth time, it has been rejected due to app functionality. It's completely outrageous that I can't even test the app on the stores or with my customers within the first month of subscription to even decide if it is worth continuing to host monthly. This process has solely taken this long DUE TO YOUR FAULTY SUPPORT STAFF.

I'm more than disheartened and disappointed considering I spent over 100 hours working on getting the app perfect on your platform and content uploaded. Your platform IS extremely easy to use and I was over the moon to find your company. It seems so odd and a shame that your support staff is so horribly lacking in customer service and honestly just the ability to do their job. No question I asked was out of the norm or outlandish. I am a novice at app building, which is why I found your service to be of great use. I hope that this reaches someone who can rectify this so that other small business owners don't waste their time and money and frustration on it like I did.

Actually I sent this exact same statement TO you at Goodbarber and have a screen shot showing that you have ignored it. You have not replied within a reasonable amount of time, sometimes waiting two days to get a response from you and an update to google. I also have screen shots of YOUR employee stating that YOUR instructions are outdated. I can post these screen shots up on my reviews now that you've chosen to reply with dishonesty. My issue isn't with the LACK of Google approval, it's the LACK of response when it comes to support tickets as stated above. Your "support" seems to assist when it feels like it, instead of with any sense of urgency and THAT is what has drug out this process. Even two days ago, I received NO response and a 24hr delay to let me know anything was done. Your customer service is lacking and your directions are outdated and I will go out of my way to make sure everyone who considers using your service knows this.

It would be perfekt, when all Explanations would be in german.

J'utilise les services GoodBarber depuis 2018 pour mes clients (app ou web app) et je suis très satisfait de leur plateforme. Leur service support est super efficace ce qui me permet d'avancer dans mes projets sereinement.

Good service and quick response

Hard to use, poor support, extraordinarily basic and inflexible editing tools. A wasted investment.

Was substantially cheaper over a 24 month period to have a custom App built by a UK developer

Excellent product. I've been using Goodbarber for 7 years now. It was the first app I have ever built and I've never had a reason to switch.

Solid product, prompt about updates, helpful in addressing changes to Apple and Android platforms. Support is absolutely great, always a real person, always helpful and responsive.
