The Golf Travel People Anmeldelser

Great golf break to Formby Hall. Thanks all at The Golf Travel People.

Look forward to booking up again next year 👍

This trip was easily tailored to our need through great communication. The accommodations were top notch as were the golf courses. We were provided with transport to and from the airport and hotels. The cost was more than reasonable. I would totally recommend this group for a wonderful golf trip !

Location is fantastic, lovely hotel with beach across the road, hotel staff are friendly. Pool area with sun and shade under beautiful pine trees overlooking 18th green and the golf course is a good test and not busy. Food was good with 3 choices for starter, main and dessert, breakfast buffet is excellent and the eating area in or outside is lovely. Played El Rompido South Course (15 minutes along the coast) which is very good.
Only minor negative would be the course at Portil was a little over watered in spots although it was high 30’s and fairways were very good.
4th visit in 8 years and it remains very good value compared to the Algarve.

Experienced, friendly staff, woukd definitely recommend going through the Golf Travel People

I don't remember how we chose to look at golf holidays on The Golf Travel People website, but I'm really glad we did. We simply had the idea of playing golf in Aphrodite Hills and other courses in Cyprus, with the accommodation being an apartment rather than a hotel, and it was so good in 2024 that we repeated the holiday with more days in 2025. The Golf Travel People responded to every question very promptly, and were as helpful as could be. We have absolutely no complaints, and expect to book with The Golf Travel People again next year.

Service and information provided excellent and quick responses each time

From the moment we had paid we had the vamoos app activated which was fantastic and constantly had our holiday activities and details in easy reach.

Great service and excellent itinerary. Courses fitted our handicaps and all involved had a superb time. The new app also helped so that everyone was aware of where and what we were doing. Great addition. Many thanks from all the boys.

All arrangements went like clockwork , no hiccups whatsoever

Everything went smoothly with no hiccups!

Superb service, found is outstanding deal in the algarve and going above and beyond to get us the best courses around

All went 100% to plan great booking staff all transfers on time every time great courses
Thank you guys

As always, everything worked as expected. Good communication and reliable.

A great golf agent, I have used now for 5 trips to El Rompido and can not fault them in anyway. The whole team are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful so make organising a trip so much easier. Plus they have added a great new app in Vamoos to share trip details to all the group. Competitively priced against larger golf agents but so more personal.

They made our trip easy to enjoy and the addition of the APP was excellent. Itinerary was very good and 3 out of 4 courses were excellent

Very easy and straightforward to deal with. I have the dates we would be in Portugal, how many days we wanted to play and our preferred times and they came back me very quickly. Played some great courses.

Great communication throughout booking process, arrangements put in place all went to plan

Great compétition. Well organised. Friendly group. Nice course.

As a couple of beginners, Dan put together a great package in Portugal with a superb golf coach and we had 18-20 hours of tuition & playing. I was undecided whether golf was for me, and booked the holiday to find out. Pleased to report I enjoyed it (especially my birdie!) & will be taking up the sport. All arrangements were good & the hotel was superb. Planning to buy a set of clubs now & will be happy to book another holiday with GTP.

Fantastic service from the first email to the last round of golf. Would recommend using the company to anyone.
