I have contacted Glyde Solar in the past and received no responses. On the reviews, they say they would like to look into the issue, but they never follow through.
A colleague of mine had an installation done by Photon Brothers. His production is 2-3 times more than mine.

A few important clarifications based on your actual project data:
Your system was designed as a 6.57 kW system with an estimated annual production of 9,455 kWh.
The design offset was 78.8%, not 100%. This means the system was never intended to cover all household consumption, which is clearly disclosed during the design and contract phase.
Production estimates are based on historical utility usage, roof geometry, shading, orientation, and local irradiance data, not assumptions.
Comparing your system to a colleague’s system is not an apples-to-apples comparison. System size, roof layout, usage profile, and location all materially impact production. A system producing 2–3x more power would, by definition, need to be significantly larger or installed under materially different conditions.
Regarding communication:
We do respond to service inquiries, but we do not see an unresolved open ticket tied to this concern. If something was missed, that is on us, and we want to correct it.
Most importantly:
Your system passed inspection, achieved activation, and ultimately reached PTO. If actual production is materially underperforming relative to the modeled estimate, that is something we can objectively review using inverter-level production data.
We are happy to:
Review your actual production versus expected output.
Confirm whether any shading, usage changes, or post-install variables are impacting performance.
Walk through the original design assumptions transparently.

Shop around don’t settle for Glyde
Salesman was extremely kind and said that our system and storage could easily power our AC unit and other things. When this was put to the test during Hurricane Beryl, that proved to be dangerously false.
This misunderstanding literally put me and my family in danger. We lucked out and were only without power for a little over a week but my house ended up getting up to 90F inside. This system was very expensive and it only seems to be able to run a fridge.
I am now looking into what legal options I have because clearly we were mislead and Glyde refuses to accommodate anything. I called numerous times to only get an email that essentially was summed up to: you need additionally battery storage. It took 4 months to get that response.
Run. Do not just walk away from these people, run.

Bryant, we’re sorry to hear about your experience during Hurricane Beryl. After reviewing your system and service history, the equipment is operating correctly. Your setup includes a single 10 kWh battery, which is designed to back up essential circuits such as lights, outlets, and refrigeration — not central air-conditioning.
A central AC requires significantly more instantaneous power than a single home battery can supply. This isn’t a malfunction but a limitation of the system’s capacity. We’ve offered to review your backed-up circuits and provide options if you’d like to expand backup capability in the future.

Excellent Communication and Presentation
Earl Kapule did a great job explaining the program to my wife and I and was very patient in answering my follow up questions over the next day or two. The only reason we didn't proceed is that we discovered that our homeowner's policy wouldn't pay out if a defect in their equipment or workmanship caused any issues.

After years of searching for the right solar company, I finally found it. Melissa Rompiza has built an outstanding team and has been incredible every step of the way. She answered all my questions promptly—even came to my home multiple times to walk me through everything in person.
From financing and installation to roofing and panel upgrades, she kept me informed throughout the entire process. Melissa also helped me understand the tax incentives, which ended up saving me thousands. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.
Glyde Steals Money
When I decided I didn't want their services (which would have cost me $20k more than any other company) they sent me a four figure bill and threatened a lien on my house if I didn't pay all because I decided to use one of their competitors.

As someone with over three years of experience in the solar industry, I went into my installation with high expectations and a deep understanding of the process. Glyde Solar delivered on many fronts, particularly with the exceptional quality of their installation and the aesthetic appeal of the final product. The system looks fantastic on my roof, and their attention to detail in design and execution really stood out.
That said, the journey wasn’t without hiccups. Communication was inconsistent at times, and there were moments where I felt left out of the loop regarding updates or scheduling. Additionally, the crew had to return multiple times to address issues that arose during the process. Despite these challenges, Glyde Solar consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved to my satisfaction. Impressively, they covered several project additions that came up after the price was agreed upon, which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise.
This was my first time selecting every detail of my solar system and taking advantage of the current incentives available. It was a big decision, but I felt confident moving forward thanks to Glyde Solar’s professionalism and commitment to delivering a great experience. While there were a few bumps along the way, the team was a pleasure to work with, and I always felt safe and secure with my decision.
For anyone considering solar, I would wholeheartedly recommend Glyde Solar. They bring a strong mix of quality, care, and integrity to the table, making them a great choice for such an important investment. The reason I’m now leaving this review is I was able to capture the tax benefits on my system and that was something I was waiting on to ensure the full benefit could be brought forward, super happy with the results we’ve received back.

Update: our sales rep visited us to help rectify our situation. While we'll have to wait and see about production, they were eager to fix the drain pipe issue quickly and make sure we were taken care of. I will continue to update this review as I see promises fulfilled. For this reason I moved it up one star, so far.

DAMAGE DONE TO HOUSE
Glyde sold us solar a year ago. Supposedly, their solar engineers configured our roof to make 110% of our electrical use. Well, a year later, we can ascertain using software from NREL that we were only given enough panels for 75%, leaving us with a payment every month. A Glyde rep happened to stop by a few weeks ago, we told him, and he said he'd follow up. Never did.
Now, we've also discovered a water leak in our house because the installer, hired by Glyde, drilled a hole right through our house drain pipe when he installed the panel. When we called Glyde, guess what - no response. My husband had to literally fix it himself, pulling the wire out from the middle of our pipe.
This company has no interest in anything but a sale. They will promise a certain output but not deliver. If they get something wrong, they won't answer or fix the problem. Very untrustworthy. So disappointing because we typically don't trust these types of people, and they've proven us right.
Glyde has no customer service, and is not a company I recommend.

As for the damage caused during the installation, we sincerely regret the leak and the inconvenience it has caused. It’s unacceptable that you had to fix this yourself. We want to assure you that we have already initiated action. We’ll be sending a licensed roofer to inspect and ensure that your roof is properly repaired. This inspection will be scheduled within the next few days, and we will keep you informed every step of the way.
We also looking into why you didn’t receive a follow-up after the Glyde representative’s visit, as this does not reflect the level of service we strive to provide.
