Super great experience. I bought some small parts for my light and had a funny gromet going into the light and sent them an email. They offered to fix it for free and the turnaround time was super fast! Great lights! Definitely the most powerful light in my 8 person group!

I bought the XS as a helmet light, and I really like the optical pattern and overall power. I was previously using a helmet light with an internal battery. Since I always wear a backpack for MTB riding, the external battery isn't an issue, and the extra illumination is worth it. I probably won't switch the optics to get a different beam pattern since I like the default setting.

I think a powerful helmet light is even more important than a powerful bar light because it puts the light exactly where you are looking, and it sits higher than a bar light which allows you to see down the trail further -- critical for singletrack DH riding.

The handlebar remote works great, although I had to use double-sided tape underneath to keep it from rotating on fast, bumpy sections.

The battery life is superb. I haven't been out for more than a few hours at a time, but it has plenty of life running the light at 80 and 100 percent.

The carbon bar mount fits perfectly on 35mm bar.
Delivery to CZE was fast.

I found Gloworm Lights to be helpful at every turn.

This is a brilliant product, literally. The twin version is perfectly light for my helmet and easy to fit. Well done. Love it.

Excellent service from Gloworm, my battery lead failed at the battery, although out of warranty Gloworm stated that the issue probably occurred whilst within the warranty period and rectified the fault foc - excellent service (Unlike Samsung) cheers

I've been very impressed with the latest version of the G2
model so easy to use and so compact. I've had the first version which lasted me for years but I wanted upgrade to something more modern and I appreciate the adjustability from the app very useful and lastly the battery pack is fantastic giving you up to date run time not to mention run time is truly impressive..

Buggy hardware with flickering with low frequency PWM at low modes. Also there is very high audible noise from DC DC converter in battery pack. Also there's is issues with unstable Bluetooth connection of my phone with battery pack. I didn't recommend them at all. Also excepted sustain output from xsv model is about 2000 lunens with good cooling.

I ordered 2 of these lights. Initially there was a issue with one of the batteries but their customer service team quickly resolved the issue

Overall; I like the Alpha 1.0 quite a lot and will most likely order another, and/or the larger battery pack. My only reason for a 4 star review instead of 5 is the overly complex and convoluted process to customize the light output. While I genuinely appreciate that I can customize the light to my needs; the procedure for doing so is not very intuitive at all and, thusly; I have to keep a paper copy of the procedure with my bike kit in case I need to change it for conditions or course variables.

I do really enjoy and appreciate the wireless switch to change the light settings once paired... but it would be nice if it just stayed paired instead of having to remember to do that every time I plug the light head into the battery.

I’m giving these lights one star. I was really excited for these to come in the mail after trying a friends pair. I ordered 2 lights a handlebar light and a helmet light. Immediately I knew one of the boxes were opened and the light was used prior to me receiving it. Broken seal on box, contents were mixed up in the packaging, low battery life and the small parts bag was opened.
Naturally I reached out to customer service and sent photos showing the condition of the product and packaging. The response I got was that he has seen that before and the light had a rough transit.
I strongly disagree, it was very clear that one had been opened and used especially compared to the second light I ordered.
If I wanted used lights I would have purchased them from my friend for less than half the price I paid.

The light was a Xmas gift for my son (he's a New Zealand fan). Now after his first night bike trip the verdict is : gloworm light is fabulous. Vision like at the daylight...

Postage was exceptionally quick to Aus, less than a week to my door. Product is great as always.

Top notch product - from esthetics to functionality, this is the real deal. The 2000 lumen light is bright and evenly distributed. Real 4 hour battery life at full brightness. Super convenient remote. Well worth the investment.

Couldnt be happier with my purchase and service.

I purchased a Gloworm X2 Adventure light set. After around a month of use, I’m very happy. The light, handlebar mount, USB-C based cable between the light and the battery, the battery, and the associated app (I’m using iOS) are all designed well, function well, and are easy to use. (I haven’t used the Bluetooth remote so far.)

My PowerPack 5 arrived miss-programmed, so that it thought it was a PowerPack 10. I contacted the distributor (in my case, in Oregon, US), and they immediately explained the issue and shipped me a replacement PowerPack and a return label for the original one.

Users can customize the three main output levels, from 10% to 100%, via the app. They can also choose one of three flashing or pulsing settings. As I have written to Gloworm, I personally would like an option for slower flashing or pulsing (1 or perhaps 1.5 times per second; the current slowest is around 2 per second); and I think there is no appropriate use on a bicycle light for the currently available strobe-like setting. I hope Gloworm could address this via app and/or firmware updates.

One of the draws for me of the new Gloworm X2 lights is their use of USB-C connectors at the light and at the battery. I asked before buying whether the light could be used with other (non-Gloworm) USB-C power banks, because that adds versatility for bikepacking and touring etc. I can confirm that indeed the light can be used with other power banks that meet the Power Delivery (PD) standard. Yay!

Update/Edit: I'm really happy with this light. It works great as a helmet light, & it's a cool feature that the lenses are customizable. Also cool is the app that can be used to tune & analyze/diagnose. On high this runs slightly better than claimed run time of 4 hours. One of the best features is an easily read fuel gauge with time remaining displayed.
