Otto & Sohn USA Inc Anmeldelser

Three years ago, we bought a glass-panel, sliding barn door from Otto & Sohn for our bathroom remodel. The door was the perfect complement to our contemporary design, and we enjoyed going through the huge selection of possibilities to find exactly the right design for us.
It is much higher quality than anything I was able to find locally, and the price point was excellent.
The door arrived right on time and in perfect condition. It has held up beautifully over time, not scratching or smudging like other products. We have also received excellent customer service from Otto & Sohn.
Highly recommend!

Everything came as expected and installed perfectly. Just wish it had a slow close feature.

We ordered a glass door and one mirror was broken but glass door took care of us! They are great and we are grateful for their help. Thanks guys

Update:

Buyer beware! When we went to install our new door the supplied trim kit would not fit together. We had to drill two screw holes to stop it from falling off. Took extra time for the install we also had to pay for. Contacted customer service and they basically said tough luck, we will provide parts that may fit but only at your cost. Here is their final response after several go rounds by email:

“Although this case is not fortunate for you, this is the policy, instead of reporting the problem you preferred to do it after modifying your article, this is why we need to repeat again that you are out of company policy.

As a courtesy we could send you another hardware for you to try and change it, but we will not provide any discount or uninstallation or installation fees. Do you agree?”

Original review:

Online ordering was seamless. Excellent communications with the company. Good shipping rates to Canada. Door arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. And it’s beautiful!

This company did an excellent job of creating our door and communicating with me. It took an extreme amount of time to get it but worth the wait. I only wish they'd asked me what side I wanted the etching to be on because it came with the etching on the front. The back would have been my choice.

The beautiful white lacquered glass barn door and modern stainless steel hardware from GlassDoor.US were the perfect finishing touch to my master bath remodel. Their selection of doors, all custom build, is amazing and their customer service is phenomenal and very personal. Free shipping is a huge bonus. The quality of the door is fabulous, I could not be happier. Highly recommend.

I can't begin to tell you how beautiful my door is. Everyone loves it. I ordered a white painted with mirror. Customer service was great and received early.

We are very happy with our painted white sliding barn door with glass panels. The door is solid, the paint job superior and the glass panels were exactly what we were looking for. The hardware is also very good quality. I highly recommend this company and was impressed by their customer service too.

We love our new doors, just wish we’d bought them sooner!

I ordered custom sliding glass barn door from Glass Door USA (Otto and Sohn) and am very pleased. The customer service was excellent and the door looks exactly like the picture. I receive many complements. It is high quality, beautiful and distinctive. I highly recommend. Love it!

The mirrored barn door I ordered from OptiDoors, Otto & Sohn arrived with a shattered mirror. It looks like it was damaged en route with forklift, even though, it was very well packed and labeled FRAGILE and CRYSTAL. I contacted OptiDoors and I received a swift email response in a matter of hours. In addition, Omar contacted me by phone and was extremely courteous and professional. They are sending me a replacement door. The customer service was amazing and quick to resolve the problem. I will update this review upon receiving replacement door.

Ordering the barn door online was a breeze! I ordered the four panel shaker barn door MDF painted in white. I also chose the stainless steel rail and t-handle. Shipping time was estimated at 4 weeks. I received the hardware within 3 weeks and the door arrived a week later. The packaging on the door was impressive. The door shipped from Florida to Connecticut without and issues. The shipping box for the door had labels on it marked "Glass" and "Fragile". This definitely helped the cause of arriving in great shape. Communication was great from the shipping company and Otto & Sohn. The door is fantastic! Lots of compliments! Looking for another door, I know where I am ordering from!!

Real happy with the door. Super high quality. Dimensions perfect. Customer service rep easy to work with. My only complaint is the delivery service they used (Estes), taking a month to get here, sitting at ports for days at a time, scheduling a Saturday delivery that didn't come, losing all track of the order, then finding it after we'd begun a refund request. Then after the delivery was made, we received two more calls about a pending delivery. Again, no complaints with Otto &
Sohn. Happy with the end result – the journey notwithstanding.
